A couple of minutes after Denver left the palace hall, Elissa arrived there.

She glanced at Ingrid once.

He frowned and then left the room.

He wouldn’t have left the king’s presence if it was any other person.

Elissa wasn’t just Casil’s elder sister, but she’s also co-creator of Hawkers alongside Casil and worked a lot for its growth.

It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that Elissa held almost the same authority as the king.

After Ingrid left, Elissa created a swinging chair with aura and sat on it royally.

“I didn’t think he would be able to teleport,” she said. “He only saw me use it once. He somehow figured it out. On top of that, he managed to pull it off in the midst of the fight.”

“He’s got the eyes of a hawk,” Casil stated. “If the eyes are good, then the rest of the body will also catch up to their level.”

“Mm, it seems his affinity toward spiritual aura is high,” Elissa smirked. “He has the potential to surpass Mickey.”

Casil didn’t say anything.

Denver didn’t go to Rose Tower to rest.Instead, he explored the Rose Park to meet up with the people and check on them and talk with them.Only a little more than five hundred people still survived after all the recent mess that this place had been through.Around a quarter of them lost their limbs and weren’t in a position to do proper physical work like catching the fish or do manual labor.Denver assured them that he would support their livelihoods and even offered them some money, food and also gave them seeds. Thanks to Sheryl’s ability, it was possible to grow vegetable and fruit plants at a much faster rate, so there was no need for the people to worry at least when it comes to food.Denver’s actions helped greatly boost his image among the people, though this wasn’t what he was after.Denver just wanted the people to be happy and put their trust in him.Afterward, he arranged a meeting with the top executives of his group. Catherine, Sheryl and Alex came.Lark, however, didn’

A few minutes earlier.Lark was sitting at the beach and was staring at the night sky.Alex brought two beers, but Lark refused to drink.“I get that you’re in a bad mood, but drinking this will make things easier for you,” Alex said.Lark then drank two beer bottles in one go.“Damn, you can drink,” Alex laughed. “Whenever I feel down, I opt for beer instead of wine or brandy. Beer doesn’t make me lose my mind, and I can still be aware of what’s happening around me.”Lark, however, seemed to be lost in his thoughts.“What’s bothering you so much?” Alex asked.“Everything that’s happening right now… it’s not going the way I want,” Lark tossed the beer bottles into the waters ahead. “I think it’s still too soon to establish something like Rose Park. Now, all eyes will turn toward us, and we don’t have the strength to fight back.”“But that’s not what’s really bothering you, is it?”Lark’s brows drew together. “I’ve never said this explicitly before anyone, but the reason I’m still brea

As Denver came closer to the border wall, Sheryl created a wooden elevator just so he could climb over the wall without having to exert himself. Thanks to her efforts, Denver was able to get past the wall without putting in work.Seeing his right arm, Sheryl knew straight away that something was wrong. She was about to touch it, but he stopped her with the other hand.“Don’t,” he said.“It’s alright,” Sheryl smiled with assurance. “I’m just going to get a feel of the injury.”Denver reluctantly let her check on his hand. The moment she touched his stiffened-up arm, she immediately felt a surge of energy leave her body.It felt like she received a shock and backed away.“What was that?” Sheryl was startled.Even Denver felt it. “I-I didn’t do anything.”“Boss, your arm is full of free radicals,” Sheryl said. “I think my tree ability is going to help you. It will put negative ions into your arm, which should help boost your healing significantly.”“You really think so?”“Yeah,” Sheryl c

  • CHAPTER 352

At Rose Park’s southern border. The council members, five ladies, were utterly shocked and angered to see the heads of their slaves on the pikes.“H-How dare they kill our toys?”“It must be the work of Green Fang! She’s known to be ruthless and fearless!”“We have to get rid of her before she grows her fangs even more!”“Let’s go and report this to the president.”“We’ll add lies and convince the president to dispatch the penal hall and have this nameless zone destroyed.”After the five council members left, Sheryl appeared on the wall.“It seems these women let the slaves loose without the president’s permission,” Sheryl sounded a bit disappointed. “I want to kill them and put their heads on display as well, but killing a council member… is too risky. There’s no turning back from that.”Just then, Denver appeared in the path of the five council members.Wearing luxurious clothes studded with gems and diamonds, they looked like queens of medieval kingdoms. They saw Denver and coldly

Yellow Tiger came to the Data Tower, which was currently owned by Philip.Philip only stayed here in the mornings, so Yellow Tiger came and submitted his resignation letter.Philip was surprised by it. “You may have lost an arm and a leg, but that doesn’t lower your strength by much. You can still continue in your post, and no one would dare point fingers at you.”“I’ve gotten rusty,” Yellow Tiger replied while drinking tea. “The fight with Denver made that much clear. I may be giving up the guardian post, but that doesn’t mean I’ll stop working for our organization. I’m only resigning, not retiring.”Philip smiled. “If you’re sure of what you’re doing, I won’t stop you.”A few seconds of silence passed.“If you’re free, how about you spar with me?” Philip asked hesitantly.“With you?” Yellow Tiger raised an eyebrow. “Both of us are proficient in somatic aura. You won’t gain much from fighting me, so why do you want to do it?”“I want to make sure at what level I am in terms of using

Denver walked out through the castle gates.Ronny didn’t leave his post but noticed Denver’s right arm and said, “I was expecting you to lose an arm, but you did better than I expected.”“This won’t happen again,” Denver said and walked away.He didn’t want to start a conversation, not knowing how Ronny would react. Denver didn’t want to fight Ronny right now as it would put him at a great disadvantage. Also, he accomplished the purpose of his visit, so there was no need to fight Ronny anymore.“Will there even be a next time?” Ronny voiced his mind aloud. “No one knows what will happen in the next second. So, you’d better not assume anything if you want your future to be bearable.”Denver looked at his right arm which froze like a rock. Looks-wise, it seemed normal, but he wasn’t able to move it even a millimeter. His fingers weren’t moving, either.“If I had improved my somatic aura, this probably wouldn’t have happened,” Denver thought. “I need to master all three forms of aura.
