Same deal

The first thought that crept into Jason’s mind the moment he woke up. He turned to his right and saw that Brenda was still sound asleep.

Gently, he got down from the bed in order not to wake her, and after washing his mouth and his face in the bathroom, he walked to his son’s room and saw that he was still sleeping before he moved to Lord Walker’s room and found him awake, sitting on his wheelchair.

“Morning, Grandpa.” Jason shut the door behind him and walked into the room while the old man looked at him without saying a word. Jason would have thought there was something troubling him, but he had an excited smile on his face and observed Jason as he walked up to him.

“Okay? What’s going on, Grandpa? Why do you have that look on your face?”

“I take it that you had the most amazing night of your life, Jack.” Lord Walker chuckled while Jason shook his head and grunted.
