Is he dreaming or did he just hear ten billion dollars? This isn't even the kind of prank someone should be pulling because it's way too expensive.

Clifford cooperation was formidable in it's heyday with a market value of three hundred billion but most of them were fixed assets. From what he knew, his father doesn't even have up to ten billion dollar cash in his bank so everything Lord Owen was saying sounded impossible.

How can his dad have such a wealth and he didn't know about it? It's hilarious.

Apex conglomerate was out of Clifford Cooperation league. It was rumored to have trillions of dollars in assets and it even had a huge influence in the underground world. He couldn't believe his own father created such a behemoth and he didn't know about it.

Lord Owen sensed he was still in disbelief and he spoke again to make him understand. "Mr. Clifford was a genius. You might not know this but your father initially founded C.C not your grandfather."

"What?"

"Back then, after seeing his capabilities, he decided to build Apex conglomerate. One for the light and the other in the shadows to complement each other. After the accusations, your grandfather took it as a chance to take over everything since he was a part founder."

Dylan just nodded since he was finally understanding.

Lord Owens sighed and gave him a cell phone. "Your aunt is in a dire situation so you need to rush to her and pay the bills. My number is on the line for you so you can call whenever you need anything. I'm in your disposal." He said honestly, walked into his BMW and drove off the scene.

Dylan stood there still in shock. He would have thought it was a dream but everything seem real, especially the black card in his hand.

As luck would have it, there was an ATM machine not that far from where he stood so he rushed toward it. He inserted the card and entered the pin.

His jaw dropped at the balance. It was showing $10,000,000,000-10 billion dollars.

He chuckled and took back the card. Wow. It's like he just hit the jackpot. This was a game changer. A life saver.

At the word life saver, he immediately rushed to the hospital his aunt was hospitalized in. The most urgent business that moment that he has to take care of was his aunt's surgery bill. Once he drop the money, the surgery that will be performed on her will save her life according to the doctor's statement so it need to be ASAP.

Arriving at the floor where the ward his aunt was is located, he met a familiar nurse moving his aunt out of the ward. He walked toward her in confusion. "What's going on here, Rita?"

Rita looked up and saw him without an ouce of surprise and fear in her expression. "Oh, it's you. The good for nothing nephew and the famous piece of trash is here. It seems among other things you can't do, begging for money is one of them."

Dylan's mouth twitch in anger and he grabbed her hand tightly causing her to yelp. "I'll ask again, Rita. Where are you taking my aunt to?"

Rita scoffed and pushed him. "Are you trying to take advantage of me? Look at you touching me when you were even incapable of touching your own wife. Remember, when you used to look down on me, right now I can stomp on you however I like and there's nothing you can do about it."

Rita was one of the girls that had her eyes on him back then. He remembered how desperate she was on getting close to him and at a time, he opened his door for her but after finding out exactly the gold-digger she was, he immediately pushed her out.

He was never lucky with women cause it turned out the woman he ended up loving was exactly like Rita. A gold-digger.

"Take my aunt back inside, Rita. I won't ask you twice."

"And what will you do, Dylan? This is a private hospital. You think this hospital is running a charity? You think your aunt is the only sick person here? If you're incapable of paying the bills then she should as well die and leave the world. After all, you'll be completely free after that. She's inconveniencing the hospital and you're too poor to pay up. The both of you need to pack your load and leave!" She said in disdain.

Then she sneered. "Or...you can kneel and beg me, who knows I can decide to be of help. Just this night alone, I've heard so many things that happened at the Harper's residence. So I heard your cousin wants your wife and people are saying they're even having an affair. Wow! Sean is way more better than you."

Then a sudden punch on her face fell her to the ground. Out of surprise and the pinprick pains she was feeling on her face, she looked up at Dylan.

She saw the anger in his face. He was red and his eyes looked like someone capable of committing murder than instant. "I'll kill you if you do not take my aunt back inside."

"You son of a bitch..." She stood up. "How dare you? You punched me? You punched a woman!"

"A woman who doesn't know when to keep her mouth shut." He retorted.

About to raise her hand to slap Dylan, a superior voice made her hand hung in the air. "Hold your horses, Rita. What's going on here and why is that woman out there?"

Dylan looked at the female head nurse. "By your tone, I can sense you didn't sign my aunt out of the ward."

The head nurse shook her head. "Of course not. The primary physician didn't give any order of that sort."

Dylan scoffed and coldly said, pointing at Rita. "Well this woman threw my aunt out like a piece of garbage and why? My aunt is human not trash. I know I don't have any money in my payment account but I promised I'll pay so what the hell is she doing?"

The head nurse looked at Rita who immediately mellowed. She knew she has done something wrong but she expected Dylan to just leave because his case was hopeless.

"Why did you do that?" The head nurse asked Rita. "Do you want to get fired?"

Rita glanced at her. "It's normal procedure to evacuate a patient that is already due for payment but haven't paid. I just thought that the patient being here was waste of space when there are other patients that need the room. He's not paying and no one knows when he's going to pay or if he will ever have the money to pay. I don't understand why we're letting him be." She said, giving a revolted gaze at Dylan.

Dylan felt that urge again to hit her.

"Still, no one gave you the authority to this. This is you passing your boundaries, Rita. Apologize to Mr. Dylan and take her back in this instant."

Rita wouldn't dare to defy the head nurse so she obediently apologized to Dylan and took his aunt in.

However, her smile quickly faded into a frown as she pulled away. “Why didn’t you tell me about this?” she asked, her voice tinged with frustration. “How could you keep this from me for so long?” Before Dylan could respond, Stephanie, who had been observing the exchange, interjected with a disapproving look. “He kept it from all of us, including me, his godmother.” Dylan responded with a gentle kiss on Allison’s forehead, his eyes filled with affection. “Well, you know now, don’t you? Sometimes, it’s best to leave certain things in the past and focus on moving forward.” At that moment, Madame Beth cleared her throat, drawing everyone’s attention. There, Dylan stood, facing the crowd and the camera with a smirk that made him look impossibly handsome. She couldn’t tear her gaze away. “Surely… it can’t be his twin, right? This doesn’t make any sense,” she murmured, still fixated on the image. Sharon looked away briefly, blinking as she tried to make sense of the revelations. “Come to think of it, Dylan really was the one who made that contract possible, and he bo

You were saying something earlier, then suddenly disappeared. And when I tried calling you, there was no response. You can’t imagine how worried and anxious I’ve been, especially with my sister in the hospital.”Dylan let out a sigh of relief and enveloped her in a comforting embrace. “I’m sorry for causing you worry.
