CHAPTER 54

After the incident with Denver, Kyra and Russell hadn’t talked with each other.

Kyra definitely appreciated Russell’s help in stopping Denver from punching her. However, while Russell was watching her, she picked a glass of wine and poured it on the grass, as if telling him that wine spilled on the ground cannot be recovered.

She had treated him like precious wine, yet he wasted her efforts by dirtying himself. It was the same as him dying in her heart.

The respect she had lost for him was unrecoverable.

The love that was beginning to bloom in her heart just died.

Meanwhile, different guests talked about the said incident in different ways, but none of them dared to openly express their views as to what actually might have happened that led to Denver acting violently.

Before all the guests left, Kyra entered her all-electric Alfa Wolfe sports car and left all by herself.

Charlotte sent all the guests first before herself leaving. She also didn’t talk with Russell or his family for tha
