Chapter 5: Return of the Leto's heir.

Adams helped her get into the car by placing his hand on her waist and opening the door. She grinned at him as she sat down, and Adams then shut the door. Adams opened the car and stepped inside before moving to the opposite side.

He started the car as he drives off with the other men, as they were following behind with their cars. She felt relieved that she had gotten rid of him, and it gave her pure joy. She has waited for that moment, and she is glad that it arrived.

“Don't tell me you are regretting this.” Adams, who noticed the lost expression on her face, muttered. She turned to him as she smiled and said.

“I have never been so happy in my life, if there is one thing that I can never regret, then it has to be this, besides he is just a waste of space.”

Back to the Lake, All of this was only witnessed by a pair of eyes. She was moving around when she noticed several men, and when she overheard people talking, she felt compelled to check. She was determined to find out what was going on. She tried her best not to draw attention to herself while she was hiding as she watched as Levi was tossed into the lake while also waiting for them to leave. She instantly started running towards the lake and dove in.

She was a very skilled swimmer, so it was nothing compared to what she had seen. Getting to Levi, she tried her best to drag him out of the deep Lake, but she was too old to carry a heavy weighting man. Soon a young lady came out from the bush.

“Aria, Quickly come help me out” Aria, without hesitation, got into the lake and moved to her mother.

“Oh my Goodness, is he dead?” She asked, scared.

“Stop talking and help me get him out of the water” Rosalia commented. Aria nodded as she immediately helped Rosalia Get Levi out of the Lake. He was quite heavy for the two Ladies to carry.

Aria Laid on the ground trying to catch her breath as she was lying next to Levi, who was unconscious.

“Mother, what happened to him?” She asked with worry in her Eyes, she started pressing his Tommy hard as he spatted water out of his Mouth. Without thinking TWICE, she gave him a mouth-to-mouth respiration, trying to get him to his conscious state. When she saw that he was still unconscious she asked “What happened to him, Mother? He is not waking up”.

“I will explain later, I am not yet sure but some people wanted to kill him, Untie him” Rosalia Said.

Using a broken bottle piece that was around, she cut the ropes, and soon he was fully untied. To check if he was still breathing, Aria questioned

“Mother, is he still alive?” Rosalia smiled and nodded, she let out a sigh of relief.

“He is alive but unconscious” she basically explained.

“We should take him home” Rosalia said, Aria nodded silently, they Carried Levi to their car and tugged him to the back seat. Driving home, they struggled to get him inside their house.

“Mother, we should call the police” she was already with her phone in hand, ready to dial the emergency number.

“No!” Rosalia immediately said.

“Okay... but why?” Aria asked, with a raised brow and paused lips.

“Just do as I say, okay?” Aria rolled her eyes.

“If he dies in our hand, I won't help you bury a man that we don't know what cursed his death”

“ Be positive for once in your life” Rosalia scolded. She looked at Levi. There was something about Levi that was unsettling to her. Something about him was familiar. Rosalia WANTED to ignore the feeling, but she Just could not. Levi was all drenched up and bruises covered up his body, she felt pure pity for him.

“What did you say happened to him, mother?”

“I saw some men and this lady beat him up, then he was thrown into the lake. I had to help him out because my instincts said so. You know that my instincts are never wrong”.

“If you say so then, Also, you need to call the doctor before he dies in our hands. I don't want a ghost of a strange man In this house” she chuckled at her own words.

“Tch! What a child” Rosalia hissed, shaking her head slowly.

*FIVE DAYS LATER.*

The darkness was very much overwhelming, He felt void, he could see himself in that same darkness, he was confused about the pure darkness. He could hear some voices as some images started popping up in his head.

“No! Don't hurt my son”.

“Levi, I will take you somewhere, a place where you will be safe.”

“Please stay alive for mommy” He could hear different voices in his head. It felt so vivid.

“You are a great child” the Voice kept on getting louder and louder and suddenly, his eyes flew wide open. The first person he saw Was Aria.

“Mom, he is awake” She yelled as she seemed to be happy.

Levi stared at her weirdly, but he stopped when he felt a great wave of headache.

“Ugh” He grunts as he closed his eyes.

“Mom! Come fast. I think he is in pain” Aria touched his forehead, as she was worried. Rosalia entered the room with a bright smile. “Oh, thank God, he is awake. Please check on him, doctor”.

A middle-aged man came into the room with a medical bag in his hands. He did some check on Levi. He asked them to give him some time to rest because he had just woken up from a long deep sleep.

“Alright, give him some time to rest. Don't bother him”.

“ Thank you doctor, we got this” Aria winked playfully at the doctor. The doctor smiled and left after saying. “I will take my leave now”

A few hours later, Rosalia and Aria walked into the room with a try of food. Levi, who saw them, immediately, sat up on the bed, but Rosalia quickly said “Oh boy! There is no need to be all alerted, we are not bad people”.

Levi did not know, but he felt calm as he stared at them strangely

“how long have I been here? What happened and how did I get here?”

“Tsk, one question at a Time. Let's start with answering one, you have been here for a while, for days, Five days to be specific” Aria made this known to him with a bright smile. Levi nodded, returning his gaze to Rosalia he asked.

“Well, what happened to me?”

She sighed, she knew he was not going to rest and feel safe until his questions were answered, so she calmly explained “Some people tied you up, and they beat you up, You were thrown in that Lake and I had to Save you with my daughter, so we helped you out before you could drown and die. We took you home, you have been unconscious for a while, so we got the doctor to check on you until now”.

Levi nodded, remembering what happened and everything that occurred he clenched his fist as anger flashed through his eyes, But he was very much grateful to Rosalia and Aria.

“Thank you” he mumbled, if they had not come to rescue him, then he would have known what his situation would result to. He would have been dead and lifeless.

“You are welcome, now eat up, Dear” Rosalia said as she dropped the food tray on the bed. Levi Felt weak, but he was sure hungry and needed food. He quickly took the food tray and began to eat without hesitation. After eating for some time, he suddenly stopped and looked at Rosalia and Aria, who were just looking at him.

“You have any question for me?” he asked, swallowing some mouthful of Milk.

“Yes, What's your name” Aria asked

“Well, yes, Who are you?” Aria asked, but he just said.

“I am a nobody” It felt bitter to say that, but maybe the earlier he realized that the better. They were not expecting that type of answer from him, so they Both arched their brows.

“What is your name?” Aria asked.

“Levi” There was a spark in Rosalia's eyes upon hearing his name.

“Levi what? What's your surname, dear?” Rosalia asked.

“Levi, Just Levi I am an Orphan, I don't have a Surname.” it sounded sad, but Levi simply said that casually.

“You said that you are an orphan?” Rosalia asked to confirm.

“Yes” he simply answered, chewing on a steak.

“Can I hug you?” she suddenly asked.

“Huh?”

“Can I hug you?” Rosalia asked again, without waiting for a minute, she hugged him and his body stiffened immediately. Immediately, her eyes fell on what she WANTED to see on his Body, she quickly pulled away as she pulled out her phone and took a picture of his ear. She immediately sent a message to a number. A message immediately popped up on his phone.

'It's him' Her eyes immediately watered. Aria and Levi Looked at her, confused about the whole situation. Confirming the Circle and triangle with three dot mark on the back of Levi's ear, she immediately made a call.

“We have finally found him sir”

“What's going on?” Levi asked, but in the next minute, Hundreds of Helicopters, cars, and Hundreds of Guards Surrounded the entire house. Tears slipped out of Rosalia eyes as she mumbled

“The return of the Leto's heir”.
