In a luxurious mansion, Dallas and five poor men sat in the sitting room, waiting for the Old Mrs. Jones to choose a husband for Rosalie out of them.

Old Mrs. Jones saw Dallas was humble than the rest because he didn’t lift his head like others. Dallas sat on the couch properly, although he wore the poorest clothes. He was not like the other five men. The five men wore expensive clothes and eyes glasses but one could detect that they were poor through their poor skin and unshaved beard. They borrowed the clothes just to impress the Old Mrs. Jones.

She pointed to Dallas, saying, “young man, raised your head.”

Dallas stuttered. “Pardon, madam, I’m not good enough to look your eyes.”

Old Mrs. Jones saw how restless Dallas was on the couch and smiled. How was it possible for him to honor me because he wants to marry the mere ugly Rosalie?

“If I give you a chance to marry Rosalie now, when will you stop loving her?” she asked Dallas. “Do you even love her at all?”

“I love Rosalie... The love I have for Rosalie wasn’t born, and because it wasn’t born, it won’t die either,” Dallas said, staring at the feet of the Old Mrs. Jones.

Everyone was amazed by his beautiful expression.

“From now on, you are Rosalie’s husband,” the Old Mrs. Jones raised her voice.

Two giant men brought Rosalie to the sitting room. Dallas raised his head in gladness to see the face of the girl who saved him from burning in a furnace.

Rosalie wept silently under a white apron over her head. She feels no joy. She feared how his new husband will hate her if he saw her ugly face. Her uneasiness grew more as Dallas’s hand touch her shrink-hand, leading her out.

They entered a taxicab, and the driver drove them to an apartment which Dallas rented at number four, Buffalo, NY.

Entering the room, Dallas removed the apron from Rosalie’s face.

“Please, sir, send me away. I prefer staying alone than to disgrace you publicly,” Rosalie said, and sobbed.

Dallas touched her ugly face. He wants to tell her who he was. The boy she saved. But he ignored the urge to reveal himself now, and said, “prettiest, I’m Dallas.”

Rosalie was weeping as Dallas kissed her forehead. After he took her into his room, he walked out and take out his new small phone.

He dialed the phone number of Doctor Alice of Diamond Hospital in Russia. Doctor Alice was special in treating someone like Rosalie. She can treat any shrink-body recovery to fresh.

Although Doctor Alice often requests a lot of money for the treatment, but she collects no money from Commander Dallas.

When she got to Buffalo, NY, Dallas told her to keep his identity as a secret, and to tell Rosalie that Diamond Hospital offer her free treatment.

Doctor Alice did as Dallas told her. She treats Rosalie’s body with many expensive drugs in Dallas’s room. She gum Rosalie’s body with a big nylon, saying, “don’t remove this nylon for fifteen days. Your husband accepts to be taking care of you till that day.”

“My family has wasted millions of dollars in many hospitals, just to treat me, but all the hospitals always end up rejecting me. I don’t believe my ugliness will disappear in just fifteen days,” Rosalie said, weeping.

Doctor Alice smiled, saying, “Miss Rosalie, I understand how you feel. I don’t want you to give up. Don’t remove the nylon for fifteen days. And you gonna see what would happen.”

The night crawled and the morning came. Dallas took good care of Rosalie. He cracks jokes to her, making her laughed. He was glad of every successful punchline he created. The punchlines drove Rosalie from her worries and made her feel special.

Even in her dream, she questioned Dallas if he’s her magical Mr. Right.

Fourteen days speed up, but Rosalie didn’t notice. She felt that something inching her body, but Dallas told her not to rub her body. When the inching became intense in the midnight, Dallas distracted her attention to music, and fed her with delicious foods from the best restaurant as he always does every morning. He then cooks for her in the afternoon and evening.

On the fifteen days, Doctor Alice called Dallas to remind him that the D-DAY had come.

Dallas placed a big mirror before Rosalie, and whispered to her ears, “prettiest, the time to remove the nylon had come.”

“So soon?” Rosalie asked in astonishment. “Have you called Doctor Alice?”

“I don’t have it. Only a rich man can have Doctor Alice’s phone number, but don’t worry, today is the D-DAY.”

Rosalie let out a heavy sigh, and feels uneasy again.

Slowly, Dallas removed the nylon from her body. He raised his eyebrows as Rosalie’s skin glows. It looks fresh.

He moved to a side of Rosalie to see her reflection in the mirror. She placed her fingers on her cheek in shock. This is unbelievable.

Rosalie pointed to the mirror, and asked, “who’s this?”

Dallas sat beside her on the bed, saying, “Rosalie Jones.”

“How does it happen? I have changed!”

For hours, Tears dripped down from her eyes on Dallas’s shoulder. The pains of twenty six years left her alone within just fifteen days.

She was so grateful to Diamond Hospital and to Doctor Alice. If not because of them, she will remain in shame and in pain for the rest of her life. Not knowing that it’s because of her husband.

Dallas hugged her tightly. He feels the urge to reveal himself to her, but he ignored the feeling like a wrong number. If he wants Rosalie to be safe, it will be better for him to be keeping his real identity as a secret till he will see and get revenge on ‘The Eye and The Blood’ group.

“Can I show myself to my parents?” Rosalie said.

“No problem, if that will make you feel more happy.”

“Will you follow me?”

“Will follow you,” Dallas said and showed her the bathroom while he went to the kitchen.

After lunch, they take taxicab to Number 10, Cambria Heights, NY.

Knocking on the door, they wait patiently as they heard Dinah’s voice.

Dinah, who was Rosalie’s mother, opened the door, and didn’t recognise the two figures before her.

“Mom, it’s me,” Rosalie said, looking at Dinah who once left her in the care of Old Mrs. Jones.

Dinah stared at Rosalie through her eyeglasses. She had never seen this girl before. She had three children, two girls, and a boy. But this girl who stood before her is pretty than her daughters.

“Pardon, you came to a wrong house,” Dinah said, and closed the door.

“No, mom. I’m Rosalie.”

The door went opened, and Dinah removed her eyes glasses.
