"Food. Food. Food. ..." countless ant's mumbled the same thing, looking at Butch.

'Don't make any fast movements' Butch reminded himself not to startle them, taking another step back then.

The ants swarmed torward Butch.

''Noooo.. I'm sorry for killing your friend, dear ants!'' He screamed as he ran through the grass rushing towards the nearest tree.

The gap between him and the ant's grew as he inched closer towards the tree but Butch wouldn't let arrogance be the end of him by stopping to smell the flowers. He didn't dare to stop.

He rushed up the tree, the hairs on his legs sticked to tree bark and his claws strengthened his gripped on it as he moved with an unmatched speed.

He smiled seeing no ants behind him. He slowed down, stopping to sit on the first branch.

Butch smiled turning to see the ants were a mile away from the tree, 'I'm fasted than them.'

He grinned, looking at those ant already nearing the tree. He couldn't help but think, 'wow soo many delicious ants.'

He crawled back to the tree trunk, out of his end a web flew out sticking around to the trunk. Bunch couldn't explain how he knew to create web, he just knew if he pushed the right muscle's in the back something would come out.

And he smiled seeing it, even though it felt like liquid inside his body, he was glad to see it harden into a web as he wrapped it around a tree trunk.

'That good enough,' He thought as the ants approached his web.

He moved up and wrapped the tree again with his web's while the ant struggled getting past his first row of webs.

The ants stopped turning back after hundreds of ants were trapped on Butch's web's.

But before leaving the ant's released an odd scent into the air, this was different from the smell of the dying ant and Butch watched everything as it unfolded sitting on branch.

'Those must pheromone,' he thought, remembering how the other ants just appeared on his location without ever being called vocally.

'So ant's can communicate through pheromone's' he looked at them with a smile as they climed down the tree.

Butch unwilling sniffed the scent, making sure he remembered it for next time.

He moved back to tree trunk, specifically to the ants struggling in his web.

'Time to enjoy my meal,' with that thought in mind, Butch bit down on the ant next to him as the other ants trapped in the web shrieked and rustle against the web trying to escape.

[15 exp gain]

As the notification's hit, Butch didn't bother to give it his attention the only thing that mattered was the sugary taste of the ants liquified organs.

The notifications rang through his head while some ants died from their struggle against the web, Butch could see it all as he drank the ant dry.

The ant's were pushing so hard against the web that their heads would stay on the web while their legs pushed their upper body off the web, severing their head off. it was self decapitation and Butch couldn't care less as drank through it all then.

Tall green humanoid creatures stepped into his vision, they had protruding canine sticking out of their mouths as if tusks. This creatures wore pelts as cloth and had some steel armour on.

'Orcs,' Butch stopped drinking the ants sweet inside's, turning to look at the passing distant orcs.

They were taller than the average human and spoke in language he didn't understand, but all he could do was look at them with wonder as they faded behind the tree's.

'Those were orcs' he smiled with glee in his eyes, orcs were among the intelligent creatures in the tower and the lowest floor you could find them on was the 20th floor.

Since Butch never reached it, he died without ever killing an orc. They were on his list of the top 50 things he wanted to kill in the tower.

'I still can't kill them,' He sighed, with his strength the best thing he could do was killing ant's, orc were nothing but a pipe dream.

For a moment he smiled at his level up but his eyes narrowed as he looked at the rewards.

'The attributes are nice but what does instinct do,' He couldn't help but wonder he had never seen it as a human and his new system operated different from his previous system. His previous system gave him missions and was awarded according to those missions or clearing a floor but never did it award him for killing that was something new to him.

'This must be why monsted are so difficult to beat,' he smirked, his new system felt better than his previous one.

"Haa," he yawned oddly his body felt sluggish, but he thought nothing about it as he crawled back to the branch but this time he crawled to its underside.

"Haaa!" He wrapped himself in a web, leaving only a space above his head uncovered in white silk around his body forming a make shift sleeping bag.

Although his eyes couldn't shut, Butch could feel his conscious fading and didn't resist as he yawned again...

...

..

.

The gantle breeze moved between the leaves and shock a web, that lay on the shaded side of a branch.

"Ahhh," He groaned waking up as the chirping of birds moved through the air.

'That was a nice nap,' he smiled stretching his limb but instantly frowned.

He rushed to the web, hoping that his vision had deceived him but no matter how long he moved around the tree trunk his ants were no where to be found.

'Who took my ants?' He thought looking at the holes carved into the tree then.

A gentle whistle moved through the air as the chirping lessened.

"What is that?" He asked, seeing nothing around him but the tree's that swayed with the wind and bushes that hid beneath them as they lay on the grass, yet the whistle grew sharper then.

He jumped off the tree as something green pierced through the leaves above him and passed where he once stood on the tree.

'It's after me,' his eyes widened, the green wing bird turned near the grass while Butch was still in the air. 'Damn it'

He pointed his rear toward it and lunged his webs at it but the bird smirked as if figure faded.

SNAP.

''AAAAAAAH!'' Butch screamed, one of his legs had been ripped out.

He clenched his jaw, releasing web's around him to block the birds vision then.

"How disappointing," A voice came from a tree branch as Butch neared the ground. ''Your nothing but a bady"

The bird swallowed, its gaze locked on Butch.

It smirked looking at the spider moving between the grass leaves and said, ''good, run to mommy little guy"

It lunged off the brench spreading it wing and vanished.

'Hell, where did it go,' Butch thought as he ran with seven legs and a patch made from his web to cover his severed leg, the web patch had turned blue from his blood.

'I have to go back to the burrow, Its the only safe place.' he thought glancing around, even with 360 degree vision there were things he couldn't see.

'Where is it?' He asked, his gaze frantic looking at the familiar surroundings but no hole.

'It was here,' His breathing quicked as he moved frantically around a single spot then.

''What's taking you so long,'' Butch eyes widened as the green bird appeared in front of him.

'It's using me to find the burrow.' He thought, taking a step back.

Nebula asked as she slithered with an unmatched pace between the trees.''No, but we need to find a place to hide,'' Butch said.Nebula slithered to a bush and stopped beneath it's shade."What are you doing?" Butch asked looking through the gaps in the bush at the sky, not even a cloud could be seen."Sss where should sss go?" Nebula asked and for the first time since they left the blue tent Butch turned his gaze away from the sky towards her.'The main problem isn't the birds but the orcs.
