Strange sensations

Eddie didn't know how far Alicia wanted to go. On one hand, she was touching his bare chest, and scars everywhere, hungrily kissing his lips.

On the other hand, she didn't move to lay down on the bed or anything.

In fact, she was leaning into him so much, he was pretty sure she wanted him on the bed. Eddie laid on his back, and she clamored on top of him, gripping his shoulders tightly. Suddenly, her shirt came off, a lacy purple bra staring back at Eddie.

"Eddie." she breathed, before leaning down, and grabbing his face, and kissing his lips with full force, his hands on her ass as he tried to slide her-

"What the fuck?!" a voice cried out, freezing both of them in place.

They both turn to see Tric standing shocked in front of the doorway, wearing her hair up in a bun, eyes wide. She wears her pajamas, and is looking from Alicia to Eddie, in astonishment.

A hand grabs Tric by her shoulder, pulling her away from the door, and Eddie can hear Addie whispering to Tric that this isn't any of their business.

"Fuck that! Alicia, how could you do this? Isan hasn't even been in the grave that long, and you're already jumping the next alpha? What if, God forbid, Brayden, or someon else was chose to be the next Alpha? Would you have jumped them?" she asked, sounding so enraged, her face was turning red from anger.

At that, Addie pushed the door full opened, yanking Tric back. "We can't say anything about who he chooses, Tric. Eddie is our leader, and Alicia is from the Fae courts." she looked at Tric, catching her eyes with her own. "You know how the Fae can be." she said so softly.

Alicia wasted no time, getting up from the bed, and snatching her shirt back as she glared at the both of them, stopping just as stood in front of them.

"I dont't have to take this from either or even any of you. I've made my choice to be the betrothed of Eddie. And yes, he just happens to be the alpha of your pack, but so what? You have to accept the leader's choice. I didn't force anything uponhim-"

"That's enough." Eddie said, as he stepped up, and pulled on his own shirt on. Now more than ever he needed a drink. "As alpha, stop fighting. We made this choice together. I can't have my pack at each other's throats."

Eddie's eyes locked on Tric's, and she bowed her head, lips tight. Addie apologized, then pulled her out from their room.

Alicia slumped when they left, sitting on the bed. Her face was in her hands, and Eddie could have sworn, tears were coming out from her eyes.

"Are you okay, Alicia?" Eddie asked, rubbing her back gently.

"Maybe this isn't a good idea." She admitted, leaning into his touch. "I still love Isan, Eddie.  You know that right?"

"I know. I believe you, Alicia." He said, hugging her by the side.

And he did. Although the kiss they had shared was sweet, Eddie knew that it was just for show. He had sensed someone else here, and figured it was one of the Fae checking in on Alicia.

It hit Eddie then that this was his life now. In a fake marriage, where his pack was still trying to figure out how to resolve a pack rivalry, his family in a different town to protect them, and Lucas his friend being in the said rival pack.

He was exhausted, drained of energy, and at that point, sleep was calling his name.

"Alicia, would you like to sleep here tonight?" he asked her, and she looked startled, a bit of color dashing on her cheeks.

"Yes please." she answered, switching from her regular clothes, to a long gray shirt, and purple pajama shorts. Eddie remembered the color of her bra, and headed off to change in his closet, his face going red.

This really fucking sucks, he thought to himself, as he pulled on a shirt, and random plaid bottoms.

He headed back to bed, seeing Alicia turn on her side away from him, her breathing nice and slow. He wondered if she was even asleep, or even needed it, but didn't have the energy to voice what he wanted to say.

When his head hit the pillow, sleep overtook him, and he let it drag him away from his problems.

Wynn clenched her shaking hand into a fist, trying to calm herself. Her carefully braided hair was a mess.

"Leave it. It looks like you bring chaos." the king said, fixing his coat on. He gave one last look at Wynn, before leaving out the door.

Wynn stared straight ahead, getting up as she pulled on her clothes, and then her armor, brushing her hair to the side.

Once done, she braided her hair, placing it the way she liked. She knew by the time she came back to see His Majesty, he'd do what he want with it again.

She looked at herself in the mirror, sweat on her face, a bite mark on her neck. Disgust filled her, and she adjusted the collar of her shirt, making sure it was covered, lest her partner would tease her about it.

This was one of the reasons she hated Enola. Since getting together with the leader of the wolves, Wynn had to take up Enola's "duties" with the king. And though he resented Enola for running off with a mutt, he much needed the allies of the werewolves.

While during one of their "duties", the king had admitted to wanting to upturn the world-both here and on earth.

Wynn had thought him a mad man, but said naught. He was the king after all.

After that exchange, he never said anything else about it, just using Wynn, and discarding her after each use.

And Wynn carried on like it was nothing.
