Nine

The next morning, Sebastian, got to his feet and his clothes was a bit wet they had to dry on his body,but it was wet still. He had managed to secure the one million dollars cheque,so he took it and headed to the bank. Once he got there he discovered the cheque is fake Mrs. Cherry had withdrew the offer. He wasn't surprised,but he couldn't believe to what extent a person can be so dubious. He thanked the man at the bank and found his way out he decided to venture into searching for the leeuwenhook son,maybe he will be lucky. He had to board a bus for free to the area where the orphanage was and as he got close,he discovered people gathered around. They were pleading that the orphanage shouldn't be sold nor burnt down walking further to observe, he slummed to the ground because, he was very exhausted.

At the Marcus mansion, some men arrived holding a picture of Sebastian,in the hospital with his head wrapped with a balm and they approached Karen, they had gotten the picture from the first time Sebastian, was in the hospital.

“Good day ma'am, we are looking for this young man and we were told he lives here.”

 the person said, showing the picture to Karen.

“This loser?” Karen, asked and the men kept a straight face. Karen, took a glance at them, and discovered they dressed so rich and she didn't know what to think.

“Why do you need him?” 

“Our boss seeks him.” they answered with no expression on their face and Mrs.  Cherry,came out of the room ranting abuses on Sebastian.

“I heard that, but I'm afraid to tell you that the young man you are looking for doesn't live there.” she spoke taking a seat beside Karen.

“Is this a wrong address?” one of the men curiously asked.

“Not at all. He left last...” Carissa,walked out to answer them because, these men will never get an answer from her family members.

“Carissa the dough in the kitchen Flatten it I need to make things.”  Grandma Hailey interrupted her words and Mrs. Cherry glared at her while she feigned a smile at the man.

“Actually, the individual that your boss seeks has left. He stole our money and ran away. He is very bad no one should help him we were only being kind, and he...” Mrs. Cherry feigned tears and the Young man looked at her in an expressionless face.

“Where has he gone?”

“We do not know. Are you probably one of him? Why asking for a loser? Are you maybe the one asking Sebastian,to be rebellious?  Sebastian is nothing your boss shouldn't seek such person if he has some integrity.” 

Karen rant in anger and the men nodded their head before leaving.

“Thanks for the information.”  one of the men said and they left.

“This is crazy. Who could be seeking Sebastian? He probably has broken something I'm glad he no more lives here.”

 Mrs. Cherry lamented and stood to her feet. She was going out.

“I will be seeing a friend of mine in a near by restaurant after the shopping.”

She took her car keys from Carissa, and walked into her car zooming out of the Mansion.

“You should have some respect for yourself Carissa, how could you attest to have known Sebastian,his he someone worth dying for? Sebastian,is a loser and probably, might have done something bad outside. Remember he always break the law maybe, he had broken a law or probably had stolen something since he will be stranded out there.”

“Stranded? Sebastian never steals and mother gave him a cheque. Sebastian is contented and not like some persons.” 

Carissa charged at her sister who just smiled indifferently.

“Cheque? Mother hasn't given Sebastian,any money he doesn't worth it. Sebastian, can die away for all I care he is in no right place,to have a share of the Marcus' wealth.”

“You all lied? It wasn't really a signed cheque?” 

Carissa,cried recalling the trouble Sebastian, have being through and the ones he might be going through at the moment.

“I get it. So, you signed the divorce papers because, you thought we had given him money? Don't be so dumb, Sebastian,is a rifrat anyway, it's good he isn't here anymore. Now, you have your life ahead of you and a beautiful future to pursue.”

“This is bad!”. Carrissa lamented.

“What is bad you ungrateful child, you should be thankful for what we all did.” grandma Hailey said and walked inside to see her favorite show.

“Whatever you think.”  

Karend as matter of finality.

“What if Sebastian, is the leeuwenhook lost son?”

 she asked herself and Karen, chooked in her drinks.

“Then, the heavens will pass away Carissa, even in your wildest dreams. If Sebastian, gets to work in Disney Island, he wouldn't be qualified to be such even if the leeuwenhook have to randomly choose a son. Just think something possible and stop saying dumb things.”

Karen, spoke, sighed and went inside, while Carissa,. Pondered on her thoughts.

Sebastian,opened his eyes to behold himself in a luxurious apartment with Medical equipment attached to his body he was under Intravenous therapy.

“Where I'm I?” 

He asked and a young man walked in smiling at him.

“We are glad you are awake boss, grandmaster have been worried. I will inform him that you are better now.”

The young man said,and before Sebastian, could say anything else he went out in excitement.

“If you need anything Sir, I'm always at your service.”

 A man in a white and black corporate dressing said and Sebastian, looked at him in surprise he isn't used to this formality, so he felt akward about the whole thing. He just nodded at the man and the man smiled wholeheartedly at him.

“I need to see the doctor.”

 Sebastian, spoke and the doctor came in immediately,as though he was waiting for him to speak a word.

“How are you feeling Sir?” 

Asked the doctor as he was felt his pulse and Sebastian, just stared at the handsome man touching him. The man is clean and soft his body display and physical appearance shows he is wealthy. He has never been to such hospital before and he doubts if he is still sleeping because, in his dreams, he was ushered into a clean Black car, while other cars followed from behind as he emerged a golden throne.

“Doctor, can I ask you a question?” 

he called and the doctor answered, looking closely at him with reverence in his eyes.

“Sure Sir, whatever that concerns your health.” he replied and Sebastian nodded.

“Yeah. Thanks uhmm...” he paused looked down at his palms and then resumed his question. “Are you in my dreams?”  

He asked and the doctor found it hilarious, the young man at the side wanted to laugh but restrained himself. The doctor comported and touched his head.

“Are you okay Sir? Feel any Symptoms on your...” he placed the back of his palm on his forehead.

“I'm ain't affected by anything,it looks all strange. Well doctor, what's the situation regarding my health now? I was told I do not have a long time to live.” 

Sebastian, said sadly and the whole room carried an aura of sadness as he began sobbing. He was greatly touched by all the things that had happened in his life.

“Two days ago, we did a kidney transplant.” The doctor replied. “But, your eyes are greatly damaged and...”.

“I have been here since two days?”

 he asked surprised. He has been dreaming of wealth since two days. Probably, he was tired of his wretched life and his heart have to usher him into the realm he wish to be.

“How the mind can be so deceitful. Well doctor, I do not have money for payment probably, I will have to pay via installment.”

He requested and the doctor smiled while he gave a slight bow and left. As Sebastian, wandered still in his thoughts, a lady walked in neatly dressed and with a tray full of vegetables and expensive foods. Sebastian,saw it all and began to salivate he wished that isn't a set up by his in-laws. He get to see these things,but haven't eaten them.

“Sir...” 

The beautiful lady called with a smile,as she pushed the tray towards him on a sliding table.

“Where is Karen?” he asked the young lady.

“I'm unsure of who that is Sir, I will inquire about that.” 

she said with a smile and Sebastian,nodded.

“Carissa, use to be very kind have you seen her?” he asked again. He wanted to make sure he isn't in some kind of dreams.

“I haven't heard about these people before Sir, but, I will inquire and report back to you. Shall I take my leave now sir?” 

The lady requested and Sebastian, nodded while the lady left. Once Sebastian, was done eating, the other young man standing at a corner, quickly carried the stuff away while he cleaned Sebastian, hands with a napkin. Sebastian, felt full and at peace unlike never before. Yet,he isn't sure of what this might be.

“Sir! You are being discharged. Nonetheless, I will see you at the Victorian, you need to get adequate rest at the comfort of your room.”

The doctor said,and removed the IV since it already finished.  Sebastian, couldn't comprehend why he is being discharged and what home the doctor speak of. Moreover,he. Doesn't live in Victorian, the only mansion he stays in,his heart has processed that he no longer stays there, so he has wandered in the Streets. 

While Sebastian, was still thinking, three young men smiled as they walked towards him and led him out. He was taken out of the room via an elevator through the other part of the building. He later discovered the hospital is inside the Victorian.

“This way sir.” 

A different young man, came smiling as he notioned on Sebastian,to follow him respectfully. Sebastian,did follow as the other three men stayed behind. He was taken into a luxurious room.

“Make yourself at home sir.”  The young man bowed and left while Sebastian, opened his mouth in surprise.

“I still haven't come to terms what this is.” he murmured as he placed his hands on the king-sized bed he sat on it and it bounced so soft and great. He opened the curtain and behold a magnificent view outside. Sebastian, couldn't comprehend yet where he is. Everything is speaking money.

“Sparkling.”  

He  muttered and walked towards the inner room where luxurious clothes are neatly placed in the wardrobe a whole lot of shoes and suits Sebastian, would have asked to faint but he needed to glory in this before the time elasped soon a knock came from the door.

“Sir, grandmaster, will be coming to see you,so it's wise if you freshen up. I will show you through the different section of this room.”

 The young man spoke and Sebastian,nodded. The young man took him around and it was a tour for Sebastian, he discovered there is more to what he knows.

“I will take my leave if you need anything, I will be at your service.”

He spoke and bow his head before leaving. Sebastian, discovered that these people bow to him and they all are brooded to speak out in pride. Yet,he wondered where this place is. He quickly took his bath,he spent quality time bathing himself with the expensive soaps he didn't know if he will be given such opportunity again so,he explored everything and took his bath at his convenience. He walked out if the bathroom and slide into a pajamas worth 50 pounds,he did see the label and since it was evening he assumed not to go anywhere.

“Sir, your father is on his way are you ready to receive him?” 

Stanley spoke From the door and Sebastian,froze in place.
