Kira abruptly opened her eyes, convinced that she had heard a whisper calling her name. Feeling drowsy, she got out of bed and walked toward the window, where the voice seemed to originate. Despite the darkness of midnight, she couldn't see anyone outside.

Thinking she might have misheard, she turned to leave. But then, the voice whispered her name again, echoing throughout the room. Certain she hadn't imagined it, she quickly turned back to the window and saw a figure, obscured by the darkness. She wondered if it could be her friend, so she grabbed her phone and turned on the flashlight. The sight made her scream in terror.

The day at school proceeded as usual, but Derek's uncharacteristic silence caught everyone's attention. After observing him closely, Peter remarked to James, "Derek seems so calm and collected now. I think what happened last time knocked some sense into him."
