“You bastard! How dare you hit me?” Liam Shawn shouted the moment he woke up.

He stood up, not understanding the situation. He looked at the manager and immediately began to drool.

“Pretty woman, are you the manager of this place?”

“Yes. How may I help you?” The manager asked, trying hard to hide her disgust.

“Get this idiot arrested before any other thing. How dare he attack me?” Liam Shawn said with a smile and grabbed the manager's arm.

She immediately tried to push him away, but his strength was superior.

“Don't be like this. I can take care of you, give you luxury items, and let you travel around the world. How about you become my woman?” He said with a creepy smile which made his eyes look smaller than usual.

The manager made a face and immediately tried to push him away.

“Let go of me, now.” She shouted, but Liam paid her no heed.

“Don't be like that. Alright, I understand you're a feisty one that needs to struggle before she submits. It's still morning, I have lots of time to accompany you.” He whispered, reaching for her waist.

At that moment Alvin intercepted his hand, and squeezed it hard.

“You want to take her around the world when you couldn't even buy a real gold chain for yourself. Stop living your fake life. You're from a wealthy family, but yours is just the side branch. And you're not favored because you're useless. But here you are, trying to cause trouble by using the name of your family who don't even care about you.”

“You beggar! I almost forgot about you. Let go of me immediately.” Liam shouted, red faced from anger and embarrassment. Alvin interrupting him just when he was about to touch the soft morning goodness that was delivered right before him offended him a lot. And reminding of his situation in the family which made him indulge in shady businesses was even worse. It could be said that Alvin crossed his bottom line with just a few sour words.

“I might be a beggar, but I don't have the morals of a dog like you do. It's so early in the morning, not yet six a.m, but you're already harassing helpless women. I know you couldn't get beautiful women because your face is hideous, in addition to your little weeny, making you unable to control yourself whenever you see a woman. However, you should have some self respect. She already said no. Are you going to rape her in public? You probably came from a club, yet you're already here shaming your ancestors. If your little brother is going to cause problems, I might as well crush it for you. How about that?” Alvin asked, smiling at Liam. The manager chuckled, making Liam even more embarrassed.

“You bastard!” Liam roared, and immediately attacked Alvin with the other hand.

Alvin blocked the blow and twisted his arm, making him scream out like a pig being butchered.

“You bastard! How dare you? I will kill you!”

“Are you sure? Do you even have the ability? I'm not that easy to kill, you know. Only I can kill people, not the other way around.” Alvin said, still wearing the serene smile that pissed off Liam. The pain, anger, and embarrassment immediately made him irrational and he tried to get out of Alvin’s grasp to fight him.

Alvin tightened his hold on his arm, making it give out a sickening crunch. Before he could understand what was happening, Alvin pushed him to the floor, making him kneel before the manager.

“Apologize to the young lady. Otherwise, you will also lose your dick.” He said coldly, still applying pressure on his arms.

“Dream on! If you dare to harm me, I will make you pay for it!” Liam shouted, unable to take it anymore.

‘This is getting out of hand, I need to intervene. If it escalates further, I will be the one to suffer.’ The manager thought and quickly cleared her throat.

“Young master, please let go. There's no need for an apology.” She whispered and touched Alvin's hand.

Alvin quickly withdrew his hand, as if trying to avoid her touch.

“You're blacklisted. Starlight malls no longer welcomes you.” The manager said coldly, making Liam smile.

He stood up and turned to Alvin.

“Did you hear that? You're blacklisted, get lost immediately and wait for my wrath. When I find you, I will make you suffer.”

Alvin smiled and shook his head.

“Mister Shawn. I mean you. Get out please. Starlight mall no longer wants any transactions with you. From today henceforth, you're banned from entering this building. You will be greeted by sirens if you dare. And of course, you will be arrested and charged for trespassing and sexual harrasment. Leave now, before I change my mind.” She said with the authority of a strong woman who had weathered storms in her life.

“You little slut! Who do you think you are to blacklist me? Do you know who I am?” Liam shouted, turning to the manaher with fury on his face.

“I don't care who you are. Sexual harrasment is a big crime in Starlight mall. I'm letting you off easy by just blacklisting you. Security, throw him out and tell the tech guys to blacklist him.” The manager said harshly, finally showing the anger she kept bottled up.

The security who had been silent all along quickly obeyed, and dragged Liam off as he screamed and cursed at them, threatening to rain down hell on them for daring to humiliate his esteemed self.

“Now, young master, what can I help you with?”

Alvin pushed Leah who had been hiding behind him forward, and gave the manager a tight smile.

“Restock her wardrobe. If the deposit is not enough, tell me. Clean her up and give her a make over. If the spa here is open, do give her a massage to help her relax her nerves.” He whispered, patting Leah's arm.

“Alright, sir. Wait here. What about you?”

“I just need a new change of clothes for now. And of course, I will like to use the mall's shower to clean up. In addition, I also need to stock up my wardrobe. But not too much. And don't give me clothes that are too conspicuous or expensive. She's the one you should give the most attention. As for me, five sets of casual wears, five sets of house wears, five sets of corporate wears, and whatever else you think I might need. Also add body cream and cosmetics. In fact, we currently don't have anything on us. We need to totally restock, from shampoos, body cream, and perfume, to clothes, shoes, bags and jewelry. But remember what I said, she should have seventy percent of the available resources. If it's not enough, you can inform me.”

‘Mhmm. I guess they really escaped from assasins. I made the right choice.’ The manager thought and smiled at him.

“Here, have your card while I get assistants to help with the shopping. Don't worry, I will personally supervise all the process.”

Alvin nodded and accepted the card from him.

“System, is it done?” He asked, watching the manager lead Leah away.

“Not yet.”

Alvin’s heart immediately sank. Does this mean he failed the mission?

She was dressed in a designer skirt and top made of the softest pink cashmere, she was wearing a pearl necklace, a silver colored shoe to match her necklace and her soft skin, silver colored purse, a bracelet made of diamonds, and a beautiful pink strap leather watch which looked very expensive. Yet, you will risk offending us for this beggar.” Lisa shouted angrily. The director immediately got angry. “If you didn't hurt the little girl so much I won't be in so much dilemma. He felt cheated but he could only sigh and console himself with the fact that he was gaining real combat experience through the bitter battles he had been engaging in since he arrived. “Everyone step back!” Su Ying shouted, her voice grating as she swirled her whip high up in the air. She swung it in a circle, sweeping up the tents, the dead bodies, and heaps of dirt transformed from dead zombies, all into a huge pile. Once everything was piled up in the middle, Zhang Chen set fire to it, using a mysterious lava. ‘Could this be the molten lava from the volcano?’ A

Qin Li smiled at her and patted her hair. “Good girl, we will find that despicable demon soon.” “You have to take revenge for us, especially those who lost their lives.” The girl whispered, gasping and wheezing. Qin Li nodded and smiled. “Of course, they must definitely be avenged.” He whispered and stretched to his full height. Qin Li turned to his companions, his eyes cold and expressionless. “Let's go.” They immediately turned to leave, in the direction she pointed. Alvin had experienced first hand about how powerful, talented and insanely talented the medicine sage valley’s disciples were on this mission. Just fourteen of them could impress him. How about their more than a hundred disciples present back in the valley? And he also never experienced their true skills and the level of their expertise because Murong Wuque did all the hard work, letting them act leisurely. He had not seen them fight with the smell of death clinging to their skins. All through the missions, each person used their individual skills either bestowed by their masters or gotten from their families before they joined the valley, showing how powerful their backgrounds were. Those kinds of people were definitely no pushovers, the valley was extremely selective when accepting disciples. In addition, none of them used their strongest weapons—poison. The disciples of the valley were notorious for poisoning opponents to death in dire situations. They didn't use it this time be

They had not landed yet when they realized that something was wrong. Murong Wuque slowed down and tightened his arm around Alvin, looking down at the previous camp. Although they had loosened some of the tents and taken the important stuff, including supplies, they left some tents behind to make it easy for the servants to serve dinner because they were sure to be exhausted when they returned. But right now, everywhere was eerily quiet. Even the horses tethered to trees were gone. No, on a closer look, they were not gone nor stolen, they were killed in a brutal massacre. Alvin's eyes narrowed in a deep frown, he had also noticed the same thing, making him look down. Dead bodies of servants and vagrant cultivators initially meant to accompany them were littered on the ground, their corpses brutalized in a bone chilling manner. The bodies even changed colors, as if someone used an evil art to suck them dry. They immediately landed, and Yang Yang rushed to examine the corpses. Chu

Alvin brought out two cartons of bottled water and four loaves of bread. “These are supplies I brought along. The water is twenty cans, enough for everyone to take one. As for the bread, maybe four people should share one.” Feng quickly tore open the cans of water and shared it. It was the big size containing 150cl. So it was enough for everyone to wash their hands and faces, drink, and still have more. “I haven't seen this kind of vessel for storing water in the past. And the water is cold and refreshing.” A red haired girl who didn't talk much said, making everyone nod in agreement. “It's from my place. It's not available in this part.” Alvin whispered, and gulped down the water he got. There were still four cans of water remaining on the ground. “If four people share one loaf, then the last will be shared by three people since we're only fifteen.” “Then the youngest should take two parts. The baby of the house should always get the biggest share of food.” Alvin said no

Alvin took deep breaths, trying to calm himself down. “It's fine. I can find my way out without anyone's help. I will just go with my initial plan. At least, I have not set the fire.” He muttered, and turned to leave. Something dangled from his side vision, making him turn in that direction. He saw the climbing rope he gave them to go up, dangling around, making him frown. “Did they forget to cut the rope? Common sense should tell them that if they want me to be completely trapped, the rope must be cut.” He walked to the rope and pulled it, noticing that it was sturdy, probably still tied to the tree. Particles of sand began to fall, and a white fist appeared beside the rope, trying to punch a hole through. “Fellow cultivator, if you're out, grab the rope, I'm exhausted.” He heard Murong Wuque shout as he punched out an additional hole, making it wide enough for someone's head to pass through. Alvin frowned, feeling confused. Didn't they abandon him? Why did they change th

Yang Yang mistakenly knocked over two of the glasses and pink smoke filled the room, we had to hurry out and lock the room. But it's still seeping out from beneath the door. There are also two more of the sealing formation we found in that room; there are definitely evil entities hidden beneath the ground. Also, we found more treasures, but nothing like the room full of treasures we initially raided. Some of the treasures we found this time had the aura of darkness. The black-purple ring we found on top of a Scarlet throne in the room we found the treasures in, was especially suspicious. All the treasures with attributes of darkness were sealed in a wooden box being kept in my possession. I won't give it to others to prevent an accident.

Su Mei looked up at that moment, her eyes filled with tears. She didn't look terrified or suprised by the sight of him. “Yan'er.” She whispered, and tried to reach for him, but her hand passed right through, making her cry harder. She smiled through her tears and took a deep breath. “Yan'er, go well. Do you want me to come along?” He shook his head, his eyes filled with sadness. “I love you, but you can't follow me. Live well here, keep me in your heart, but don't be burdened. If you meet a man that treats you as good as I did, you can follow him and live happily. This was the first time she was seeing his corpse since Murong Wuque prevented the girls from coming to see him till he got dressed. “Ah…oh…mmm…” She kept groaning and gasping, unable to form coherent words. She reached for his face, caressing him as she wept. “Yan'er…aaaa… mmm… . Please… no.. Oh… ah… ah… ah.. You… oh… promise… you…” The sounds coming from her lips were total nonsense, incoherent as she cried. Murong Wuque signalled everyone to face the floor and give them the privacy to say their final goodbyes. She kissed his ice cold knuckles, bathing him in her tears as she hugged him, crying bitterly. For fifteen minutes, the girls sang various farewell songs while waiting for her to finish crying. She looked at him attentively, and ran her hands over his body and felt his pulse, each false hope she gave herself about reviving him dashing harder than
