Murong Wuque pushed him away and teleported into their room. At once, Alvin’s eyes filled with tears. He finally understood the reason he said it was his fault. He was dying, all because of his selfish, thoughtless acts. He took a deep breath and went after Murong Wuque.

“Wuque,” Alvin whispered, coming to a halt beside Iceman who was on the balcony, bringing out bandages.

Murong Wuque didn't even turn to look at him. “Why are you crying like a girl? Did something happen?”

His tone was as rude as always, but his heart was aching. He didn't want Alvin to know that the poison flared up because he undid the seal on his powers in an instant to locate Alvin the day the bomb nearly exploded on him.

He had known that tearing it off in a panic, in order to access his lightning transfer technique, which allowed him to travel at the speed of light, would make the seal on the poison shaky, making it unstable. All efforts to reseal it proved abortive since he was severely short on materia

Sam led Amanda and Shi Meng Ying into the sitting room. Shi Yue shouted in excitement and immediately rushed to hug Meng Ying. “Meng Ying jie, you're finally out.” Alvin rolled his eyes. Tiffany often sneaked the detention room open while taking food to them whenever Alvin left the house, letting Amanda move around. As for Meng Ying, they didn't dare to let her leave because she practiced martial arts and could run away after overpowering them. But they still allowed Shi Yue to go accompany her to watch movies and play games. Tiffany equally grabbed Amanda's arm and winked at her, while Elena offered them a subtle nod. “How dramatic.” He rolled his eyes, suppressing the urge to call them out on their ‘reunion’ act and inform them that he had been keeping an eye on the house through the surveillance cameras at home. “Alright, enough now. It's been more than two weeks, I believe you've had enough time to reflect.” Amanda nodded, pouting. Alvin chuckled and pinched her nose,

  • You can't do it

Alvin was taken aback by Murong Wuque's reaction. His eyes were glacial and he looked ready to kill him. “Wuque…”“You disgusting pervert…”Alvin's mouth opened and closed soundless, trying to speak. But all he did was madly inhale air. “I was joking, you dummy.”“Liar!” Murong Wuque growled, smashing his back against the bed, causing him to groan in pain. Murong Wuque loomed over him like an instrument of nightmare, his hand still on his throat. “Liar. You weren't joking one bit, you disgusting pervert! How dare you repeatedly consider such a thing?”“I was joking, alright? Friends joke around and play like that all the time.”“Are all earthlings that loose and perverted, or is it you? The other day I saw you…” Murong Wuque inhaled sharply, stopping himself before he could say too much. He shut his eyes and huffed out a breath, his grasp on Alvin's throat loosened and he collapsed beside Alvin, breathing heavily. Alvin gasped out loud, his heart pounding erratically in his ches

  • do you dare?

Alvin was stunned for a while. For two whole minutes, he didn't speak. The room was silent, and he kept gazing at Murong Wuque as if trying to determine if he was serious or not. He suddenly burst into laughter. “You almost got me there. I thought you were being serious.”“I was—I never lie.” Murong Wuque replied, his face returning to the ice sculpture it was. Alvin's smile froze, then his expression hardened. “Are you this good at talking nonsense? Immortals my ass. Where will I find an immortal willing to marry me? Open your eyes and see where we are.”Murong Wuque rolled his eyes and leaned back against the headboard. “Well, there might be none on earth, but when we go back to the celestial realm, you may be able to find one.”Alvin scoffed, then sneered and looked at Murong Wuque, as if he wanted to squash him to pieces. “You… What kind of person do you think I am? Do you think I'm that desperate and untalented that I will be willing to marry an old thing, hundreds of years ol

Murong Wuque nodded, watching the expression on Alvin’s face morph into horror. “I thought it was pretty obvious.” “You… ah… how… ridiculous… how… how could such a thing be possible? Since when? Tell me!” He roared, coming to grab Murong Wuque by the lapel. He disappeared from the spot, making Alvin grab the thin air. Alvin turned towards his new position, eyes blazing with anger. Murong Wuque suddenly giggled, it soon turned into a full blown laughter. Alvin froze. However, he didn't know whether it was because he was seeing Murong Wuque laugh for the first time ever, or because he was confused as to the reason for the laughter. His laughter was like music, clear and addictive. He snickered at Alvin. “I thought you were pretty smart, never knew you were such a dummy.” He said in English, making Alvin's frown deepen. “Ha! I didn't know you were so easy to trick, you actually believed such a ridiculous thing. Even between soul mates and dual cultivators, they can only vag

  • RIDICULOUS REALITY

Murong Wuque felt a movement in the dome at home, and noticed that Alvin was done. He was monitoring where the cloaked man was going to enter with his bird, but seeing that Alvin was done, he just remarked the approximate location he was traveling towards, deciding to search along it when he found the time. He tightened his hold on Qin Li and immediately zapped back to the house. He dropped Qin Li at the staircase and zoomed into the room without giving him the chance to ask questions. The moment he entered the room, Alvin opened his eyes, and he quickly dispelled the dome. Alvin’s body was soaked with sweat, and his body had a thin sheen of dusty film. “Half step god threshold, you narrowly missed the god realm by a really slim margin. Congratulations, little genius.” And this time, Murong Wuque was truly sincere. Even though he wasn't smiling, his glacial eyes could be seen showing a rare expression of joy. He didn't look this happy when he broke through, nor when he realize

The place became chaotic as they all made a fast dash towards the box, none paid attention to the bleeding taoist on the ground, they were more interested in the box. One of the ones with a demonic aura grabbed the box and the next instant, the hand holding the knife was chopped off by a zap of dark energy, sending blood splattering all around, even on those nearby. But they didn't seem to care, letting him scream in agony. Murong Wuque smirked, his eyes glacial and filled with wickedness. As they fought and used their techniques against the others, he decided to help them out. When he noticed someone attacking another, he would send a string of similar energy to merge with the attack, making it incredibly lethal, killing the target at the spot. He noticed that the Buddhist, the one in suit, and one other demon seemed to be stronger than the rest, and decided to use them. As for the one in a cloak, he stood aside, watching the rest fight and scramble for it, but his eyes never
