Hearing Mr.Leo's wife's threatening words, Damien didn't say anything but continued walking closer to the boy.

However Mr. Leo stood by the door, his arms crossed tightly as he watched Damien approach the bedside. Though his expression was calm, the tension in his shoulders betrayed the storm of doubt and desperation raging inside him.

For some reason he was having a second thought, he wasn't sure if Damien could actually save his son. At that moment his gaze flickered to his wife, who sat silently by their son’s side, her eyes red from exhaustion and worry.

‘I don’t know if this will work,’ Mr Leo said to himself, His jaw tightened with frustration, he knows full well what his wife would do to him if for some reason something happened to their son now.

His voice was low, almost hesitant. ‘But we’ve tried everything else. We’ve seen some of the best doctor's, and none of them could even give us answers, it wouldn't be bad to try at least in this situation we have nothing to lose.

At that moment, without wasting any more time, Victoria’s uncle clenched his remaining good hand into a tight fist. The veins on his forearm bulged violently as he began forming a strange, intricate hand sign that twisted his fingers unnaturally fast. Immediately a deep hum echoed through the room, low at first, then rising like a drumbeat. In an instant, his entire body erupted in a wild red aura, thick and molten, streaked with pulsating black currents that radiated like cracks on volcanic rock. The ground beneath his feet fractured from the sheer force of it, and the air itself warped, vibrating like heat haze. Deborah’s breath caught in her throat as the room darkened, shadows bending unnaturally toward him. Then it happened. The sickening sound of bone snapping back into place cracked through the air as his previously broken wrist shattered moments ago by Damien, began to realign itself. The red-black aura cocooned the injury, weaving around his flesh like living fire until it

  • Chapter 440

At that moment, upon seeing that Damien just broke his wrist, Victoria's uncle couldn't even believe his eyes. The shock hit him so suddenly that his legs stumbled backward on their own, his boots scraping roughly against the hard floor. His face twisted, not only from the sharp, searing pain shooting up his arm but from the sheer impossibility of what had just happened. His wrist, the very hand that had mastered the deadly Fist Bleed Technique, the strike feared across kingdoms was now hanging limp, broken cleanly in half.At that moment he glanced at it in disbelief, his fingers trembling uncontrollably, the veins on his forearm bulging from the shock. The red-and-black aura that had once danced violently around his palm moments ago had completely vanished, extinguished like a candle under heavy rain. And the manner in which Damien had done it… that was what left him rattled to his core. There was no visible energy release, no grand motion or preparation Damien had simply caught his

Upon hearing what Deborah just said, Damien didn’t even spare Victoria’s uncle a glance. His eyes remained fixed on Uncle Bernard, still lying helplessly on the floor, blood staining his clothes. Damien’s voice came out calm, quiet, almost unnervingly so.“That is not even my problem now,” he said, his tone flat, as though everything around him the tension, the danger, the rage in the air didn’t matter. The words struck like a slap across Victoria’s uncle’s face. His jaw tightened, his nostrils flared, and his breath came out in harsh bursts. His chest rose and fell as fury overtook him, veins bulging in his neck.“You arrogant brat…” he growled, his voice low at first but building with every word. “I’m going to enjoy killing you. You proud brats always think you’re untouchable I’ll make you beg before I cut you down!”At that moment without wasting another heartbeat, his aura erupted.A deep crimson glow burst from his hands, the color so intense it almost seemed to burn. Black stri

  • Chapter 438

Upon hearing what Damien just said that single command to keep quiet Victoria’s uncle froze in disbelief. His brows furrowed so deeply that the veins on his forehead stood out. At that moment he turned slightly, pointing at himself with a trembling finger, as though needing confirmation.“Are you…” his voice cracked with incredulity, “…are you actually talking to me?”The silence that followed was deafening,. nobody could say anything. He blinked once, twice, his jaw tightening as the weight of Damien’s audacity sank in. “Did this boy,” he muttered, half to himself, half to everyone present, “just tell me to keep quiet?” His voice rose, sharp with disbelief. “Do you even know who you’re talking to?!”He expected an explanation. A stammer. A plea for forgiveness. Perhaps Damien would bow his head and beg, realizing the mistake he had just made. But Damien gave him nothing, no words. No glance. Not even acknowledgment.Instead, Damien turned his back on him, a deliberate insult and w

  • Chapter 437

At that moment, Victoria’s uncle’s sharp gaze swept over Damien from head to toe.Nothing, he saw nothing on Damien. No aura. No pressure. No flicker of spiritual energy. To him, Damien looked painfully ordinary just a young man who had seen too little of life, still chasing a dream too far beyond his reach. His brow furrowed slightly as confusion flickered across his face.He couldn't believe this is the one they were waiting for? This is the boy who has them clinging to hope?Victoria’s uncle scoffed inwardly. He couldn’t understand it, why Jessica’s mother’s eyes suddenly softened with relief, why Jessica herself, bruised and trembling, reached for Damien as if salvation had arrived, but none of it made sense to him.Meanwhile, Damien still standing silently in the doorway, his expression unreadable. His dark eyes slowly scanned the room, taking in every detail.First, Uncle Bernard, the older man lay sprawled across the floor, his body trembling weakly, surrounded by splatters of

His breathing was steady, but his eyes those piercing eyes burned with something deeper. Rage, pain, were all tangled together, and even though he didn’t say anything yet, his mere presence demanded attention. At that moment Deborah’s lips parted slightly, a shaky gasp escaping her. Her chest rose and fell quickly, as though she’d been holding her breath all this time and could finally breathe. Immediately Relief washed over her so fast it nearly made her knees buckle.‘Finally he’s here… Damien is alive.’For so many minutes, fear had gripped her chest like a vice fear that Damien had been hurt, fear that he hadn’t survived whatever
