Hearing Mr.Leo's wife's threatening words, Damien didn't say anything but continued walking closer to the boy.

However Mr. Leo stood by the door, his arms crossed tightly as he watched Damien approach the bedside. Though his expression was calm, the tension in his shoulders betrayed the storm of doubt and desperation raging inside him.

For some reason he was having a second thought, he wasn't sure if Damien could actually save his son. At that moment his gaze flickered to his wife, who sat silently by their son’s side, her eyes red from exhaustion and worry.

‘I don’t know if this will work,’ Mr Leo said to himself, His jaw tightened with frustration, he knows full well what his wife would do to him if for some reason something happened to their son now.

His voice was low, almost hesitant. ‘But we’ve tried everything else. We’ve seen some of the best doctor's, and none of them could even give us answers, it wouldn't be bad to try at least in this situation we have nothing to lose.

However Damien didn’t even flinch. His eyes stayed fixed on him like he was staring at something disgusting.“I never promised,” Damien said. “I told you to speak. I told you the answer would determine if you’d live or die. You gave me a name, and that’s useful. But…”At that moment he took a step forward.“…it doesn’t erase the blood you’ve already spilled.”Immediately Victoria’s brother’s mouth opened in shock, his lips trembling. “Y-You can’t do this! I… I helped you!”But it was too late.Without warning, Damien’s hand shot forward and clamped tightly around the man’s neck. The speed so fast so fluid none of them even saw his fingers move. And in one clean lift, he raised Victoria's brother off the ground high like he weighed nothing. Like he was holding up a pillow instead of a full-grown man.At that moment Victoria, seated on the floor closer to his brother, gasped so hard she almost choked. Her eyes widened in complete disbelief. Her mouth dropped open. She looked from her br

At that moment, Damien didn’t flinch. His eyes stayed locked on Victoria’s brother with the same cold, piercing stillness he had walked in with. Victoria brother was sprawled on the ground, his limbs barely functioning, trembling, begging for mercy—but it didn’t move Damien one bit. The cries, the broken limbs, the blood, the sobbing from Victoria—they were nothing but background noise to him now.Again he crouched lower, his voice low and sharp like a blade.“You’re not done,” Damien said slowly, deliberately. “You’ve answered some… but not all. You didn’t just find them. You didn’t stumble on a ghost number and suddenly decide to ruin my life. Someone introduced them to you. That person gave you their contact. I want their name.”Victoria’s brother froze.“I want to know who sent you to them,” Damien continued, his tone like venom. “Because if you don’t, I swear, I’ll send you to the same place I sent those men you sent after me. And this time, you won’t be screaming anymore. You’ll

At that moment, seeing Damien coming even more closer Victoria's brother kept dragging his body backward using his elbows and heels, but there was nowhere else to go—his back slammed into the cold tiled wall with a dull thud. He froze. His palms were sweating, his breath shallow, his heart racing so loud he could barely hear his own voice anymore. But still, he forced words out, clinging to the only weapon he had left—fear. Not Demian’s fear, but the kind others had for his family.“D–Don’t forget who I am!” he stammered, eyes wide, fingers twitching. “Don’t forget who my father is! My family... our name... you lay even a single finger on me, and this whole city will burn. Do you hear me? Everyone will pay if anything happens to me!”At that moment He looked around the room, hoping someone anyone would step in. But his men were gone. Dead. Silenced. And Victoria, she had sunk back into the nearest chair, her knees trembling, her mouth parted in disbelief. The fire in her eyes from ear

At that moment, when Victoria’s brother gave the order, the entire energy in the room shifted, immediately the four towering, muscle-bound men known for their ruthlessness and unshakable strength—immediately moved toward Damien. At that moment heavy footsteps echoed through the tiled floor, each step thunderous and final, as if doom itself was approaching. They were confident. Too confident. Each of them wore the same expression: cocky smirks and lazy eyes, as though Damien was nothing more than a warm-up exercise before their real work for the day began. His frame didn’t intimidate them. His silence didn’t shake them. If anything, it made them laugh. At that moment one of them broad-shouldered with a scar dragging from his left eyebrow down to his cheekbone suddenly stretched out an arm to stop the others.“Wait guys,” he said, grinning wickedly. “Let me play with him first.”The rest chuckled. One of them, with gold teeth and a broken nose, scoffed, “Don’t kill him too quickly, Cra

At that moment, the thick silence in the room shattered like glass as the door creaked open with a cold and deliberate slowness. Every head in the luxurious bathhouse VIP lounge turned sharply toward the entrance, expecting a servant, maybe another guest, but certainly not him. When the door finally pushed wide open, the man who stepped in wasn’t just anyone. It was Damien. He stood tall and unmoving at the threshold, like a phantom that refused to stay buried. His black coat hung just below his knees, swaying slightly with each step as he walked in, his eyes dark, calm, unreadable—but beneath that calm was a quiet rage that made the air feel heavy. The moment Victoria laid eyes on him, her jaw dropped as her mouth trembled wordlessly. Her perfectly manicured fingers, which had earlier clutched her designer purse with elegance, now gripped it like a weapon.Immediately her cheeks turned pale before flushing red with fury. Her brother, who had moments ago boasted with such arrogance, w

At that moment, Victoria hit the brakes hard, the tires screeching slightly as her car came to a halt right in front of the private entrance of the luxurious bathhouse. She didn’t wait for the engine to cool or the door to shut properly after she stepped out—her mind was already ten steps ahead.Immediately she stormed past the receptionist without a glance, her heels clicking furiously against the polished floor. She knew exactly where to go. Her brother had a habit of using the same VIP suite every time he came here. It was almost like his little hideout from the world, a place no one dared to disturb him. But today, Victoria didn’t care about boundaries or rules. She marched straight to the room, pushed the door open without knocking, and stepped in.The air inside was warm and scented, filled with soft steam rising from a luxurious hot tub at the center. There were a few men lounging around in towels, some sipping drinks, others casually chatting. But what caught her attention imm
