Mela didn't follow him, she just stood there. "what's wrong?" he asked, looking at her blankly.

"Mom says I shouldn't leave home, because I'm sick!" she said hesitantly, fidgeting with her silky long brown hair.

Adam approached her abruptly, he touched her forehead making her flinch.

[Data discovered…

Dehydration detected.

…]

"ouch!! Why did you zap me?!" Mela shouted as The symbiote reported the scan based on Adam's concerns. It also transmitted to his mind all he needs to know about the myotonia Congenita.

Myotonia congenita is a rare genetic disorder that causes muscle stiffness and muscle growth. Symptoms can also include clumsiness, muscle cramps and weakness.

"You are not sick. Lets go." Adam grabbed her hand and dragged her along towards the elevator. She found his hand too stiff to struggle out of his grasp, so she silently followed him.

Adam ordered 10% of the cluster fabric to form an invisible exoskeleton on Mela's body.

The fabric slowly turned into a soft clear material, crawling on his hand towards Mela's hand. The moment it touched her she felt a tingling sensation on her skin. Her imagination interpreted this tingling as feeling love according to one of her idols.

Crawling on her skin gently, The fabric soon reached her entire body, making a thin layer on Mela's skin supporting her joint movements, it didn't make her stronger nor faster, it just supported her.

"Adam!" Mela whispered, her blushing face almost completely red. "what are you going to show me?!" the moment she said those words, she hoped he didn't hear them.

Not bothering to answer her, Adam walked into the elevator, which was a platform with a round seat and a table in the middle, surrounded by a glass dome, always ready to be stepped on, located in the end of each hallway.

The moment they took a seat on the round platform, it started smoothly moving left, getting replaced with another platform looking the same.

Adam let go of Mela's hand when the fabric transfer completed.

"Look at this!" Adam put his hand on the table making a small amount of fabric turn into a little unicorn. He always knows to distract her while the platform is in the dark short tunnel, because of her claustrophobia.

Mela screamed of joy, she loves unicorns and always dreamed of meeting one. Mela is an 8 year old, white skinned, tall girl, with a long silky brown hair, a light hazel eyes with gray flecks, her facial features are simple and kind, the short blue dress she wears on top of a black leggings makes her seem taller than she is.

She tried to touch the little statue of the unicorn, as it suddenly moved and started jumping around her hand. Mela laughed and played with it as Adam said. "to the park." When the platform they were riding on stopped at the edge of the building.

The platform took a route on the outside of the building, joining a line of platforms heading in the same direction.

hundreds of buildings surrounding the park forming a circle around it, the captivating view from the floating elevator always makes Mela happy, Adam silently stared at the grassy land, the tall trees that looked small from this height, the rivers and bridges, the wooden benches, fish ponds. It reminded him of the dangerous woods around the orphanage.

Unlike the woods, this park is fully protected and maintained by human hands, it has small animals, insects, birds, rodents. all contained by a barrier surrounding the park from all sides.

"where did you buy this from?! I want one!" Mela said as she played with the little unicorn. She had a toy core before but it was an old model, it couldn't make something this realistic.

The little white unicorn had a pink mane hair extending from its long blue shiny horn to its pink tail, the slender legs on it emitting a blueish glow.

"that's not a toy core Mela!" Adam said with his expressionless face, looking at her playing with the unicorn.

Mela stopped and looked at him, her face showing an array of emotions. "is it a real unicorn!?" she said while hugging the little unicorn, her eyes watering and her smile getting bigger by the second.

"No you idiot! Unicorns are extinct!" Adam said extending his hand to the unicorn that suddenly turned into a dragon and escaped her grasp.

"Hey!! They are not!" Mela firmly said while staring at the dragon that now became as big as a house cat, it made a low growl and jumped into the air, extended its wings and glided around their heads.

"whatever! This isn't a toy core, toy cores cant do this." Adam casually said while touching the small dragon, as it disappeared into Adam's hand.

"Where did it go?" Mela panicked, she tried to look for the dragon inside Adam's sleeves, and she found nothing as Adam stood up.

"Lets go get an ice-cream!" Adam said with a hint of enthusiasm in his eyes, getting out of the platform the moment it landed on a metallic base, with many other platforms making a tall tower.

"if that's not a toy core! Then how did you do that?" Mela grumbled. She knew that all cores either are voice activated, or gesture activated. Toy cores with gesture activation are very expensive, especially if they have a gene scanner.

"I have super powers now!" Adam said with a mocking smile, they walked together on the tile road surrounded by trees, towards the gaming area.

"you are a liar!!" Mela looked at him suspiciously, she watches romantic series and movies, she doesn't like superhero stuff, so she didn't believe him.

"Remember the toy fights you lost your toy core in!? Well! I will prove it there." Adam said with a slight smile on his face.

They arrived at a crowded area filled with cabins selling all kinds of food and desserts, with many tables in the middle of the cabin circle, and some small robots serving foods all around.

Adam held her hand to not lose her and waste time looking for her, which made Mela turn red once more. They headed to the ice-cream area.

"what do you need all that ice-cream for?!" Mela gazed in surprise at the amount of ice-cream Adam bought, he held five big boxes of ice cream in his hands, a robot spotted him and speedily approached him.

"may I help y..." Adam didn't wait for the robot to finish its polite greeting, he put all the ice-cream boxes on the flat head of the small robot. The small robots head extended to fit the boxes as it Balanced itself on one big wheel.

"what! I get hungry allot these days!" he answered her gazing, while opening one for him and another for her.

"If you get fat I wont hang out with you anymore." She firmly said crossing her hand.

"I can't get fat, lets go to the arena." Adam walked towards an area with multiple screens around it showing little robots fighting and breaking each other apart.

"why do you want to fight in that stupid contest any way? I stopped playing with toy cores a while ago." Mela said trying to sound like an adult, she was happy she finally got to leave the apartment, it's been a long time since she got out, and her mother is either busy or not in the mood to take her out.

  • Unhealthy ego.

The dense smooth ball fell to the ground, bypassing the gravity field that previously contained it. It plunged a few centimeters deep into the hard metal floor, a ton of force was concentrated in a small area, making it hard to contain it by regular matter. It was still sinking through the metal floor slowly, as it was being mercilessly pulled by the planet’s gravity.[Connection established. recalculating blueprints to adapt to the signal of the new nanite cluster fabric. More physical contact with the material is required for a faster result.]“Was it successful?!” Keet’s eyes were asking the question before he even moved his lips. He was startled by the sudden disengagement of the sphere from the gravity field. He kept his eyes and scanners on Adam to detect if he is in danger before any thing, and he was relieved for once to see Adam’s expressionless face unchanging. “Can you control it?.”“Yes! The signal is different from any other cluster fabric, my blueprints needs to be modif

“she just disappeared a year after you were born, and in her place there was a message, telling your father to provide them with a certain type of technology if he ever wants to see her again.” Keet said desperately, his voice struggling in a way.“People don’t just disappear!” Adam chuckled, he was hearing about his mother for the first time, and the first thing he hears about her is that she just disappeared. The first thing that came to his mind was that she might have abandoned him and his father. Or that she could be working with the Rinvar clan.“They don’t, but when you see this you may believe the opposite.” Keet created a screen and played a video of a woman singing a sweet lullaby for an infant wrapped in a sky blue blanket with twinkling stars all over it that seems to be moving about. The woman was sitting on a flowery wooden chair rocking back and forth. She appeared to be on some kind of a ship traveling in space, a foreign star constellations were visible from a window

  • Supernova.

“please continue!.” Adam said. Seeing the shocked expression on Keet’s face, Adam thought that the symbiote created something amazing, so he inwardly requested the details of those spiders. However they were just normal spider scouts, like the one Adam used to kill the man who attempted to kidnap Mela.Keet’s surprise wasn’t triggered by the blueprint itself, he counted 8 spiders rushing in all directions at the same time, and the 8 if them seemed semi-intelligent while moving all over the base exploring about. Even Keet wouldn’t be able to accomplish such a level of control without automating the constructs.Which means either the spiders were all automated and the young kid already knows how to automate drone actions, which would be scary at his age. Or he was directly controlling 8 individual actions while still focusing on their talking, which would be horrifying. The reason Keet didn’t consider the probability of an artificial intelligence, is that the spiders were mostly just to

Adam plunged into the ground raising a cloud of dust and creating a small crater around him as he landed like a super hero on one knee and a closed fist.[The modified armor blueprint features ionic thrusters with up to 8 tons of pushing force.]‘you telling me this now?!’ Adam shouted inwardly at himself, he had no idea that the symbiote modified the armor already. his cognitive abilities and thinking speed were on another level compared to yesterday, but still he was a human that easily got distracted by the feeling of freedom and liberation, and forgot all about the need to stop and land at some point. He also wanted to show off a little in front of Keet to pretend that he wasn’t in need of help or assistance, which resulted in a minor knee bruise and a sore knuckles.“That was a cool Landing. Was it painful?!.” Keet chuckled, commenting on his landing and making sure to save the footage of it in his memory for later use.“You noticed! Well! It just needs some practice.” Adam smile

  • Not again.

“You should come with me to the main base first.” Keet said to Adam, pointing at the middle of the island. The main base wasn’t far from where they were, the whole island was 20 km across, it would take them less then a minute to reach there flying.“Okay you go first and set a beacon, I’ll test some old tech with this new unlimited energy.” Adam didn’t argue with him, but he was still going to do his tests. He turned his clothe into a skin tight jump suit with a helmet covering his face. Two long thin wings grew from his back, ending with a jet engine each.“Do you know how loud these things are?! If you break the sound barrier with them you could damage many equipment on the island. You should try something else.” Keet stopped Adam from firing up the engines. he hated this era of technology for its too little care for the planet’s well-being. Unlike the mock engines that Adam was planning to use, the real ancient jet engine used a dangerous fossil fuel, which didn’t just endanger th

  • A small conversation.

Adam was sitting on a wooden table behind the house, eating his big breakfast while surrounded by trees, flowers, and whistling birds. The rich sunlight bathed him in its warmth and its wide spectrum of electromagnetic radiations. “Birdy didn’t wake up yet?! He sure doesn’t miss Gem.” He said stuffing his face with more food, He stopped focusing on chewing much, the food would disappear in a few seconds anyway. He was worried about Birdy, it was unnatural for the kid to sleep in.Birdy used to wake up earlier then every one, Adam would sometime Hear him laughing on the top bed, he thought at first that he was having some weird dream. When he asked him about it, Birdy Said that it was the only time of the day he would quietly enjoy reading his comics.“That boy is actually quite something! He trained for four hours straight after you went to sleep, not taking any rest until he passed out on the living room’s floor.” Keet informed Adam while aiming a barrage of scanners and detectors at
