The one entering from the right side of the arena was a simple looking blue robot, a little shorter than the other one, with black straps spiraling from its leg up. A black sword taller than its body attached to its back, it didn't do any dramatic entering like the first one, it just slowly climbed down.
Once they both got to their position, a loud count down began.
Three…
Two…
One…
Instantly, both robots started attacking each other. the red one was suicidal, it kept charging while avoiding the sword slashes, it obviously tried to impale its opponent on the spikes coming out of its body.
The blue robot was a little faster and lighter on its feet, with its sword lagging behind, it occasionally leveraged the sword to change directions, or to defend itself from the impaling end.
The red spiky robot adapted a new tactic, two spikes fell down from its hands, attached with a thin wire, It started swinging the wire with the spikes all over the arena, trying to land a hit on the other robot.
The blue robot seeing this, both of its leg calf turned into a pressure piston, and instantly compressed as much pressure as it can contain, while the sword became a bit smaller and its shape slightly changed, once it was ready, it ran into its opponent. the sword clashing with the spikes that seemed to come from every direction, making a loud banging sound with no metal ringing, as if two rubber coated objects are hitting each other.
The red robot swung its spikes faster and faster, eventually it hammered its lower part into the ground, dropping every spike on its body, it started spinning increasingly fast.
The blue robot now one meter away from the center of this whirlwind, it released all the pressure in its leg at once, propelling its self three meters high, once it started falling, it adjusted its position using pressurized air to be directly on top of the madly spinning red robot.
In the air while falling, it started changing its entire body into a disc shape, holding the sword in its hand, another similar sword emerged where the other hand disappeared. The two swords started spinning so fast they became a blur.
The two robots clashed in a final explosion that included parts of both robots, hitting the dome barrier and startling some of the audience near the places it hit.
The entire battle took less than a minute, with the winner still unknown. when the dust settled, both robots were revealed to be missing huge parts of their constructs, the blue robot still in disk shape with both swords intact, and the main disk split in half and shattered.
The red robots entire upper part was little more then dust, revealing that the flying parts mostly came from its spikes shattering. Its lower part still mostly buried in the ground, with the ground split in two in its middle.
"that guy is smart!" Adam said while stuffing his mouth with the ice-cream. Mela looked at him while also eating her ice-cream, but in a more gentle manner.
"which one?! Who is the winner?" she said in confusion, turning her head between Adam and the screen.
At that moment, movement were seen as the camera started focusing on the moving parts, the two swords turned into a metallic liquid, and crawled like a slime towards each other, finally merging together and turning into the blue robot, parts of its body also started crawling towards it from all over the arena and forming the sword on its back.
The winner was announced with a big bang, and the name (Drum-Sword) appeared on a screen showing the participants charts.
Mela still confused about what happened, she asked. "how did he win?! Did you see something I didn't see?!" Her eyes alternating between her empty ice-cream box, and Adam's one remaining ice-cream box.
"that guy kept most of the robot's mass inside the sword, making it stronger, while leaving out only enough of the fabric in the robot itself for movement." Adam explained while handing her the remaining ice-cream box. "It had the sword with it, so based on the situation, the core could switch between the blueprints to use any of the different forms.
"the spinning desk in its last move, it turned the entire mass in the body into another sword, leaving enough to protect the link between them.
"that's how it survived the clash without needing to repair more than 20% of the construct."
"But isn't changing the construct blueprint just as hard as repairing the construct?" Mela asked, quite confused, she consumed the ice-cream while looking at Adam expectantly.
"It is, if the construct is made from a different element or a different density!" Adam said casually as he took the last bit of ice-cream in his box. "The sword and the body are always made of the same element and density, I think he made those custom blueprints him self."
Adam stood up from his seat. "I'll go get more ice-cream, and maybe orange juice, don't move." he said while dashing away, disappearing from Mela's range of vision.
The moment he was gone, Mela was setting alone, watching the winning robot collecting the scattered cluster fabric from all over the arena, when a man in his mid twenties approached her. "Hey kid! Wanna play? I have a game that you would like! If you win I'll give you a very powerful toy core! And all the fabric you need!" the man said as he slowly drawing closer to Mela.
[Danger detected, untrusted individual approaching the host's companion.
Plan of action can include, instant decapitation, warning shot, full defense cocoon, manual response.]
'what the… whose approaching Mela?! And why the f*ck would you put decapitation first?! What if the peace keeper catches us and accuse us of murder!' Adam said as the symbiote started turning some of the fabric on Mela's body into a tiny camera, showing Adam what's happening there on a screen using the visual system.
Mela was scared, she started sliding back on her seat slightly. "No thank you! My friend went to buy ice-cream and he will be back in a second!" she acted brave, she was so afraid, but there was people around, at least if she screams the peace keeper would instantly come to this place.
The weird man wore a black leather jacket with red interior, his hair was long and black tide in a small ponytail, he wore a dark blue sunglasses, both his hand behind his back while still drawing closer.
Jerry kept an eye on Mela when he noticed Adam leaving her alone, a pretty little girl like her was bound to attract some attention. When he saw the suspicious man approaching her he instantly started heading towards her, but when he saw the man not stopping his slow approach, he prepared him self to run in and stop him.
That's when the man started coughing madly, the suspicious man heard a sound in his head. "state your reason or die painfully." When he heard this sound, the man stood up heavily and started running away while coughing, as if he saw a ghost.
"are you okay? You're Adam's friend right! What did that man say to you?" Jerry asked when he reached Mela, she was about to cry with the tears building up in her eyes.
At that instant, Adam appeared beside her and held her close to him, and her tears disappeared. "Don't worry, I'm here." He said casually. To Adam those were just words, but to Mela, they were way more than that.
Mela was used to being weak and clumsy, she could never do any thing on her own, which is why her mother never allowed her out alone, and she had to attend school virtually as well.
A few hundred meters away from robots fighting arena, the suspicious man fell to the ground, with blood escaping multiple wounds on his nick.
A surveillance camera caught that scene and instantly alerted a nearby peace keeper, the drone almost instantly reached that area, it transformed into a metallic dome with the dark golden color used by the tower officials, covering the man from the eyes of the passersby, and scanning him silently.

The dense smooth ball fell to the ground, bypassing the gravity field that previously contained it. It plunged a few centimeters deep into the hard metal floor, a ton of force was concentrated in a small area, making it hard to contain it by regular matter. It was still sinking through the metal floor slowly, as it was being mercilessly pulled by the planet’s gravity.[Connection established. recalculating blueprints to adapt to the signal of the new nanite cluster fabric. More physical contact with the material is required for a faster result.]“Was it successful?!” Keet’s eyes were asking the question before he even moved his lips. He was startled by the sudden disengagement of the sphere from the gravity field. He kept his eyes and scanners on Adam to detect if he is in danger before any thing, and he was relieved for once to see Adam’s expressionless face unchanging. “Can you control it?.”“Yes! The signal is different from any other cluster fabric, my blueprints needs to be modif

“she just disappeared a year after you were born, and in her place there was a message, telling your father to provide them with a certain type of technology if he ever wants to see her again.” Keet said desperately, his voice struggling in a way.“People don’t just disappear!” Adam chuckled, he was hearing about his mother for the first time, and the first thing he hears about her is that she just disappeared. The first thing that came to his mind was that she might have abandoned him and his father. Or that she could be working with the Rinvar clan.“They don’t, but when you see this you may believe the opposite.” Keet created a screen and played a video of a woman singing a sweet lullaby for an infant wrapped in a sky blue blanket with twinkling stars all over it that seems to be moving about. The woman was sitting on a flowery wooden chair rocking back and forth. She appeared to be on some kind of a ship traveling in space, a foreign star constellations were visible from a window

“please continue!.” Adam said. Seeing the shocked expression on Keet’s face, Adam thought that the symbiote created something amazing, so he inwardly requested the details of those spiders. However they were just normal spider scouts, like the one Adam used to kill the man who attempted to kidnap Mela.Keet’s surprise wasn’t triggered by the blueprint itself, he counted 8 spiders rushing in all directions at the same time, and the 8 if them seemed semi-intelligent while moving all over the base exploring about. Even Keet wouldn’t be able to accomplish such a level of control without automating the constructs.Which means either the spiders were all automated and the young kid already knows how to automate drone actions, which would be scary at his age. Or he was directly controlling 8 individual actions while still focusing on their talking, which would be horrifying. The reason Keet didn’t consider the probability of an artificial intelligence, is that the spiders were mostly just to

Adam plunged into the ground raising a cloud of dust and creating a small crater around him as he landed like a super hero on one knee and a closed fist.[The modified armor blueprint features ionic thrusters with up to 8 tons of pushing force.]‘you telling me this now?!’ Adam shouted inwardly at himself, he had no idea that the symbiote modified the armor already. his cognitive abilities and thinking speed were on another level compared to yesterday, but still he was a human that easily got distracted by the feeling of freedom and liberation, and forgot all about the need to stop and land at some point. He also wanted to show off a little in front of Keet to pretend that he wasn’t in need of help or assistance, which resulted in a minor knee bruise and a sore knuckles.“That was a cool Landing. Was it painful?!.” Keet chuckled, commenting on his landing and making sure to save the footage of it in his memory for later use.“You noticed! Well! It just needs some practice.” Adam smile
Not again.
“You should come with me to the main base first.” Keet said to Adam, pointing at the middle of the island. The main base wasn’t far from where they were, the whole island was 20 km across, it would take them less then a minute to reach there flying.“Okay you go first and set a beacon, I’ll test some old tech with this new unlimited energy.” Adam didn’t argue with him, but he was still going to do his tests. He turned his clothe into a skin tight jump suit with a helmet covering his face. Two long thin wings grew from his back, ending with a jet engine each.“Do you know how loud these things are?! If you break the sound barrier with them you could damage many equipment on the island. You should try something else.” Keet stopped Adam from firing up the engines. he hated this era of technology for its too little care for the planet’s well-being. Unlike the mock engines that Adam was planning to use, the real ancient jet engine used a dangerous fossil fuel, which didn’t just endanger th
A small conversation.
Adam was sitting on a wooden table behind the house, eating his big breakfast while surrounded by trees, flowers, and whistling birds. The rich sunlight bathed him in its warmth and its wide spectrum of electromagnetic radiations. “Birdy didn’t wake up yet?! He sure doesn’t miss Gem.” He said stuffing his face with more food, He stopped focusing on chewing much, the food would disappear in a few seconds anyway. He was worried about Birdy, it was unnatural for the kid to sleep in.Birdy used to wake up earlier then every one, Adam would sometime Hear him laughing on the top bed, he thought at first that he was having some weird dream. When he asked him about it, Birdy Said that it was the only time of the day he would quietly enjoy reading his comics.“That boy is actually quite something! He trained for four hours straight after you went to sleep, not taking any rest until he passed out on the living room’s floor.” Keet informed Adam while aiming a barrage of scanners and detectors at
