The yellow robot had to separate the blades and the tentacles from its body, this mechanism was included In the original robot as well, something simple like that can’t be used to trap a war machine.

The boom bird’s copy started using fast punches to attack without getting stuck again, it forgot about stabbing the little Golem.

The silver robot didn’t react to the punches, it didn’t budge, it didn’t even turn around to face its opponent. The yellow robot seeing this, it retreated, and put a distance between them, then both of its hand transformed into one big rail gun.

The spectators were excited. This gun is the trademark of the boom bird robot, its also one of its strongest weapons. unfortunately, this will consume too much energy for a normal toy core, and also the cluster fabric used for ammo will stabilize for a while, and won’t be able to transform into any thing, that is if the bullet was retrieved at all.

Not much people who have the blueprint of the boom bird robot would use this gun because of its draw backs. So it became a rare occurrence.

Adam ordered the little silver robot to start attacking, knowing that if his robot got hit by that gun, he would definitely lose.

with the blades still stuck to its chest, tentacles attached to its shoulders and head, the little silver robot bolted towards the yellow robot like a missile.

Reaching its target in a blink of an eye, the silver robot didn’t punch, it didn’t kick, and it didn’t slow down either, it just rammed it with its entire body.

The yellow robot was sent flying, Unable to react, partially due to the shock from the explosive speed of the silver robot, and because of the rail gun which impairs its movement when created, after being rammed by the little silver robot, it smashed into the arena wall.

Parts of its outer shell shattered, the entire internal structure was damaged, it started Regenerating itself, pulling the small parts that flew away, but it didn’t have enough chance for repair.

The little silver colored robot didn’t slow down at all, it reached the devastated robot trying to repair itself leaning on the wall, and smashed it a second time, this time it broke into pieces between the wall and the heavy little silver Golem.

The spectators started cheering for the little Golem, some of them complaining about the unfair fight, some others making a fuss about the legality of the blueprint used. But all cheers and complaints stopped for a moment as the name of the winner appeared on the screen above the arena, (Stickman) every one was startled by the naming, it didn’t only look simple and lazily designed, the name was also simple and lazily picked.

The cheers continued when they noticed the Stickman leaving the arena without collecting the cluster fabric.

In the hard mode of the robot fights, the losing core gets destroyed, which means that the fabric returns to its super state, its pure form, and it loses the imprint. so the winner gets to keep the loser’s cluster fabric.

Not many people joining the hard mode would choose to leave the free cluster fabric on the floor for the loser to get it back. Some people even joins the hard mode to collect more fabric, as the fabric is usually more expensive than the core itself.

Leaving without collecting the loser’s fabric is considered either a respect to the fighter, or an insult telling them they are not worth the effort, based on the situation.

And based on the way that the stickman toyed with its opponent, it was considered the latter.

“You won! That was amazing!” Mela said after recovering from the shock, she thought that Adam is going to lose because his robot malfunctioned and stopped responding.

“Of course I did!” Adam bragged. “Did you think I’ll lose?!” he pretended to be angry looking at Mela, while finishing up the pasta he was eating.

“I thought you were too lazy to make a decent design, so it broke!” Mela reasoned. “And who is too lazy to even choose a proper name?! I mean stickman! I could have chosen a better name for you if you asked me!” she teased Adam for the name.

“I’m not lazy! I just don’t care!” he casually said. “would you like to get some fabric? I can loot the next guy for you!” he asked her seriously.

“I don’t have a core! And I don’t think mom will get me one!” she answered with a saddened look on her face.

“I’ll get you one then! A good one too! A gift.” Adam promised her with a serious look on his face, he didn’t know If his plan would work or not, if it didn’t work he might need to escape the city and go search for his father.

He would never let him self be captured by any one again, he is no longer weak and there would be no other choice but to escape if they refused to leave him alone.

Mela was excited, she couldn’t help smiling. “You don’t have to do that!” she said, her expression and smile not matching her words.

The next few matches passed uneventful, and the real contest was about to begin. When a man appeared in front of Mela and Adam. “Hi! My name is Demetri, from the tower! Can I ask you some questions about the man who approached you earlier?!” said a black hair white skinned man, wearing a dark gold jacket, to Mela who was startled from his sudden appearance, she hid herself behind Adam.

“Are you insane sir?!” Adam casually addressed the tower official, making his eyes twitch. “This little girl just experienced a traumatic event, and you appear suddenly in front of her to further traumatize her like that?! Are you new in your job?! I’ll be reporting this, I have it recorded.” Adam spoke like an old, experienced lawyer, threatening an inexperienced officer.

He has the entire law inside his head now transmitted by the symbiote. raw information was easier to tolerate , than whole experiences that requires comprehension and time. so the symbiote filtered the information and transmitted it to his head when he ordered the Assassination of that criminal, he would eventually take this step to use the loophole that would allow him to escape from the residence management department.

“How old are you kid?!” Demetri gave Adam a disdainful look, he is being lectured by a kid, and what’s worst, is that the kid is right.

“Old enough to stand against you in the court with a few lawyers backing me up.” Adam returned the glance, staring right into his eyes. “Now take a few steps back, and address the situation properly.” He ordered the older man.

Mela seeing the older man following Adam’s instructions, her fear of the man lessened.

“Based on my cli… companion’s statement, the man attempted luring her to follow him for some gain, when the stranger man saw my friend Jerry over there coming, he ran away.” Adam pointed at Jerry, thanking him again internally, he planned to make him the hero from the beginning, hence his gratitude earlier.

“Any further questions will be irrelevant, for the park is heavily monitored, and you can easily extract the confrontation from sector D25’s observation room.” Adam said crossing his hands and giving the tower official a stare down.

Demetri cursed himself for taking this case, he is a fan of Perla Brinlin’s work, and he wished to meet her in person. His plan was ruined by this evil child. A notification on the screen attached to his wrist knocked him out of his shock, and saved him from any further embarrassment, and made leave hastily.

“Lets go home Mela, we can play in the system core room.” Adam calmly said, holding Mela’s hand and preparing to leave.

“what about the contest?! You could join the professional games if you win!” Mela said, tugging on Adam’s hand, she was excited to watch his battle and she wanted to watch more.

“who cares about the stupid contest, we can go fight robots ourselves in the core area, wouldn’t that be better!” The real reason Adam wanted to go home, is because he knew that this place will be swarmed by peace keepers in a few minutes.

The tower officials just discovered a criminal organization hiding under their nose, and as if this isn’t enough, the press was notified about this information, that left them no choice but to declare a state of emergency, and start acting against the criminals.

“This organization was involved in illegal trading, kidnapping, murder, human trafficking, prostitution, they didn’t leave any crime out sir!” said the young tower observer scratching his chin. “This is either an inside job! Or a rival organization, in both cases, we have someone out there with the power and tech to infiltrate our system!”

The dense smooth ball fell to the ground, bypassing the gravity field that previously contained it. It plunged a few centimeters deep into the hard metal floor, a ton of force was concentrated in a small area, making it hard to contain it by regular matter. It was still sinking through the metal floor slowly, as it was being mercilessly pulled by the planet’s gravity.[Connection established. recalculating blueprints to adapt to the signal of the new nanite cluster fabric. More physical contact with the material is required for a faster result.]“Was it successful?!” Keet’s eyes were asking the question before he even moved his lips. He was startled by the sudden disengagement of the sphere from the gravity field. He kept his eyes and scanners on Adam to detect if he is in danger before any thing, and he was relieved for once to see Adam’s expressionless face unchanging. “Can you control it?.”“Yes! The signal is different from any other cluster fabric, my blueprints needs to be modif

“she just disappeared a year after you were born, and in her place there was a message, telling your father to provide them with a certain type of technology if he ever wants to see her again.” Keet said desperately, his voice struggling in a way.“People don’t just disappear!” Adam chuckled, he was hearing about his mother for the first time, and the first thing he hears about her is that she just disappeared. The first thing that came to his mind was that she might have abandoned him and his father. Or that she could be working with the Rinvar clan.“They don’t, but when you see this you may believe the opposite.” Keet created a screen and played a video of a woman singing a sweet lullaby for an infant wrapped in a sky blue blanket with twinkling stars all over it that seems to be moving about. The woman was sitting on a flowery wooden chair rocking back and forth. She appeared to be on some kind of a ship traveling in space, a foreign star constellations were visible from a window

“please continue!.” Adam said. Seeing the shocked expression on Keet’s face, Adam thought that the symbiote created something amazing, so he inwardly requested the details of those spiders. However they were just normal spider scouts, like the one Adam used to kill the man who attempted to kidnap Mela.Keet’s surprise wasn’t triggered by the blueprint itself, he counted 8 spiders rushing in all directions at the same time, and the 8 if them seemed semi-intelligent while moving all over the base exploring about. Even Keet wouldn’t be able to accomplish such a level of control without automating the constructs.Which means either the spiders were all automated and the young kid already knows how to automate drone actions, which would be scary at his age. Or he was directly controlling 8 individual actions while still focusing on their talking, which would be horrifying. The reason Keet didn’t consider the probability of an artificial intelligence, is that the spiders were mostly just to

Adam plunged into the ground raising a cloud of dust and creating a small crater around him as he landed like a super hero on one knee and a closed fist.[The modified armor blueprint features ionic thrusters with up to 8 tons of pushing force.]‘you telling me this now?!’ Adam shouted inwardly at himself, he had no idea that the symbiote modified the armor already. his cognitive abilities and thinking speed were on another level compared to yesterday, but still he was a human that easily got distracted by the feeling of freedom and liberation, and forgot all about the need to stop and land at some point. He also wanted to show off a little in front of Keet to pretend that he wasn’t in need of help or assistance, which resulted in a minor knee bruise and a sore knuckles.“That was a cool Landing. Was it painful?!.” Keet chuckled, commenting on his landing and making sure to save the footage of it in his memory for later use.“You noticed! Well! It just needs some practice.” Adam smile

  • Not again.

“You should come with me to the main base first.” Keet said to Adam, pointing at the middle of the island. The main base wasn’t far from where they were, the whole island was 20 km across, it would take them less then a minute to reach there flying.“Okay you go first and set a beacon, I’ll test some old tech with this new unlimited energy.” Adam didn’t argue with him, but he was still going to do his tests. He turned his clothe into a skin tight jump suit with a helmet covering his face. Two long thin wings grew from his back, ending with a jet engine each.“Do you know how loud these things are?! If you break the sound barrier with them you could damage many equipment on the island. You should try something else.” Keet stopped Adam from firing up the engines. he hated this era of technology for its too little care for the planet’s well-being. Unlike the mock engines that Adam was planning to use, the real ancient jet engine used a dangerous fossil fuel, which didn’t just endanger th

  • A small conversation.

Adam was sitting on a wooden table behind the house, eating his big breakfast while surrounded by trees, flowers, and whistling birds. The rich sunlight bathed him in its warmth and its wide spectrum of electromagnetic radiations. “Birdy didn’t wake up yet?! He sure doesn’t miss Gem.” He said stuffing his face with more food, He stopped focusing on chewing much, the food would disappear in a few seconds anyway. He was worried about Birdy, it was unnatural for the kid to sleep in.Birdy used to wake up earlier then every one, Adam would sometime Hear him laughing on the top bed, he thought at first that he was having some weird dream. When he asked him about it, Birdy Said that it was the only time of the day he would quietly enjoy reading his comics.“That boy is actually quite something! He trained for four hours straight after you went to sleep, not taking any rest until he passed out on the living room’s floor.” Keet informed Adam while aiming a barrage of scanners and detectors at
