Olivia charged as she tapped her foot on the side of her horse as it picked up its pace alongside her master's as the two stabbed through the soldiers in front of them. The remaining soldiers were a few mages, archers and a handful of melee soldiers as their army charged at them.
Olivia jumped from her horse as her spear channeled lightning through its tip as she threw the weapon towards the soldiers. It impaled clean through three of them as she landed on the ground and she charged forwards as she was attacked by the archers and mages. She narrowly dodged the attacks as she saw the impaled soldiers raising their weapons which surprised her as the one in the front is wielding a sword, the second and third are mages as she was impressed by their tenacity to keep going. But she focused once more as she unsheathed her sword as she sliced off the arm of the one in front as she pulled out her spear as the blood splashed on the ground as she glared at the soldiers as her spear's blade was enveloped in lightning. She then quickly stopped it through their faces, the magic further strengthening her blow and causing their heads to be destroyed, with only chunks left. She felt the urge to gag at the gruesome sight. Even if she is the one who had done it, she had never experienced anything this gruesome before so she was disgusted by what she had done. But she knew that it was the fastest way to kill the soldiers as there are more. The rest of her soldiers were fighting the enemy, and some of them were killed by the invigorated soldiers of Sweden. She couldn't help but growl at the sight. 'These bastards. They had lost the war and we had an accord! And yet they dare break it and invade my kingdom! The royal family will pay for this!' Olivia thought to herself in anger as she sheathed her sword and charged with her spear. Her mentor was also making quick work of the soldiers, with his experience and strength, none of the soldiers were able to do anything to him as he weaved and sliced through them all without pause. She was always surprised at the prowess shown by her master and she wishes to reach his level in the future, and hoped to make him proud of her. But she focused back on the battlefield, as she knew that her master wouldn't like it if his disciple was distracted during a battle. She stopped Lucas who is fighting with Kriemhild as the two were making short work of the enemy. The help from the court mage and the army coming to help them being a major factor in allowing them some breathing room. She twirled her spear and batted the soldier in front of her to the ground as she stomped on his head and killed him as she charged them with strength, speed and skill. Aslaug noticed the princess and could acknowledge the strength shown by her, as she was one of the stronger warriors during the war that had happened. But the demigoddess wasn't that troubled by this fact, as she knew that she will be able to defeat her candidly, with the only one being able to do here being Lucas, and perhaps the mysterious mage who is attacking them from afar. But she would hardly give a person who attacked away from the battlefield any form of respect. If they are not brave enough to appear in the battlefield and face them head on, then she has no respect for them, no matter their prowess in the mystic arts. As far as she was concerned, they were just cowards who hid behind their magic because they are too afraid to fight their opponents face to face. 'In any case, I don't think that this is all the men left. As I recall, there were still a lot more men in their army who were alive after the war had ended. Are they planning to ambush us? No, they would've done so already if that were the case, since the four of us alone was the perfect opportunity to ambush us.' Aslaug thought to herself as she narrowed her eyes. The last of the enemy soldiers were killed off by the soldiers that had arrived as the demigoddess surveyed the battlefield as she narrowed her eyes, to make sure that every single energy was down on the ground and positively dead. Olivia met up with her teacher as the two surveyed the battlefield to make sure that every enemy has been killed, and to their relief it seems that it is true. The soldier and the horses with them were also calming down as the battle had thankfully ended. "Thank Odin, we managed to get here." Andvaranaut said as he sighed. "I never expected them to do something like this. And that too after the war." Olivia said as she glared at the dead soldiers. "Even if our two kingdoms are antagonistic towards each other, I am still surprised that the king was willing to do something like this. I never thought that he would actually attack after the war had ended and an accord was established." Andvaranaut said as he narrowed his eyes. "We were fortunate that Lucas had warned us about the attack, otherwise we would've been taken off our guard." Olivia said as she stood ready to react in case of an attack. "I agree. But still, the soldiers here are not the numbers of their army. Many are still missing, so either these are just a small battalion of them who decided to attack our kingdom for revenge or they have other plans." Andvaranaut said to her as she looked at him seriously. "What do you think they are thinking of doing?" Olivia asked him seriously. "I wish I had a clue princess, but as of right I don't have any idea of what their plans are. But we should however take our troops and be prepared for another assualt. There are still many soldiers left in the army after the war, and only the Gods know what they are planning." Andvaranaut said to her as she nodded. "You're right. Father is already making preparations for it, and the court mage is also keeping an eye on things. Mother had told me that they are sending our soldiers to the borders to keep watch." Olivia said to him as he nodded. "What the queen said is true. Even if this is the place from where they had attacked, we have no idea if they will use this as a distraction to invade through the other borders, even if the path isn't viable. We can't take the chance since it is quite clear that they don't care about honour anymore." Andvaranaut said to her as she nodded. "But still, to attack us now is to go back on the word given to us by the royal family, they are meant to honour it. This will bring dishonour and shame to their entire kingdom, and that's not to say about the royal family for making such a decision." Olivia said as she looked at the man as he frowned at her words. "That is precisely why I do not understand the actions of the kingdom. The other kingdoms will surely learn about this, and if they learn that the king and royal family cannot be trusted to honour their agreement, it would bring more harm than good to their kingdom as a whole. On the other hand,it would be beneficial for us." Andvaranaut said to the girl as she nodded. She understood his words of course. After all, by doing something like this the kingdom is showing themselves as being dishonourable and untrustworthy to other lands, which would damage their reputation and credibility. But her own kingdom will gain much from it as the other kingdoms will have more trust in them in comparison to Sweden. Olivia looked at Lucas who is conversing with Aslaug, Kriemhild and Falkor as the four of them were together. He is rubbing the wyvern's snout while he is talking to the two knights. 'He was able to fend off so many of them with those three. Even if Falkor wasn't part of the calculation, the fact that the three of them were able to kill so many soldiers is praiseworthy.' Olivia thought to herself as she knew that the two women were strong. Kriemhild wasn't that powerful in comparison to herself, but the same could not be said about Aslaug as the female knight can be said to be on par or at a greater level of strength than herself. Something which the princess was a bit miffed to accept, as she had not know that such a powerful female warrior had existed up until now. Women do not usually become warriors in their culture, so she is one of the rare few who do. While the Valkyries are a presence in their religion and culture, female warriors are discouraged in favour of them being housekeepers, so there are few women warriors, so the fact that there is a powerful warrior of the fairer sex in the lands is something that was quite surprising. Olivia had considered herself to be a very powerful female warrior, so seeing how strong Aslaug is was a bit dampening to her mood and sense of accomplishments. However, it also made her want to improve herself and make herself more powerful so that she can fight that woman in equal footing. 'Still, I do wonder where he had gotten the two women from.' Olivia thought to herself as she looked at the two female warriors. But then she was pulled out of her thoughts when Falkor became distressed and roared which alarmed the soldiers and the others around them as Lucas looked around to find the reason for his wyvern to become agitated. The horses also became agitated as they started to neigh and move a bit around in response. "What's wrong?" Lucas asked as his senses were still sharp to detect an attack. 'Tch. I guess my senses are still not on par with Falkor's.' Lucas thought to himself as he felt a bit dissatisfied. But then the wyvern looked at the sky and roared as the other looked and their eyes widened when they saw a large beam of golden light, that was roughly double the size of the wyvern shot over them as they were confused as they saw the trajectory of the attack. "It's going for the royal palace!" A soldier shouted in terror as he saw where it was going. The others also noticed this as their eyes widened in shock and many paled at the sight. An attack of such magnitude is sure to cause massive destruction if it landed, and Olivia felt great fear as she knew that her parents were in the palace. "No!' Olivia shouted in worry and fear. But Lucas looked towards the enemy kingdom as his eyes widened as he saw more attacks, but this time coming towards them. Falkor, Kriemhild and Aslaug noticed this as their eyes widened. Lucas immediately used his magic and created a portal in front and over them. "Run now!" Lucas shouted causing the others to see the attack. The princess and the soldiers saw the numerous attacks coming towards them like fireballs as they became alarmed. "There are so many!" A few soldiers shouted in fear as they scrambled to get out of the way. 'Tch, this will cripple the army. No choice.' Lucas thought to himself as he increased the size of the portal. He made sure to cover the entire army, and even though he didn't want to use so much of his magic to preserve it so that he can use it for any big attacks, he wasn't about to just let these soldiers die. 'This is going to be a handful.' Lucas thought to himself as the attacks reached them.

Chapter 62
Lucas used a healing spell on himself as he growled at the sight of the enemies and he dashed forward, his mind now even sharper due to the attack as he ran towards the enemies with full speed. Falkor roared overhead as he glanced at his wyvern who was flying through the air and dodging the spells from the mages. 'I should kill the lot of them quickly before they become a problem. The strange magical attack, it would be problematic for me if I had to fight these bastards with another sniping me. If my focus isn't correct then I will die.' Lucas thought to himself as he ran to his enemies. He increased his speed as he ran towards the enemies as the soldiers shot their arrows and the mages attacked him as well. Three soldiers wielding swords charged at the heir which confused the latter. 'Where these three here before?' Lucas thought to himself in confusion as he looked at the charging enemies. He was pretty sure that he had taken care of all the melee soldiers and now three sol
Chapter 61
Lucas blinked his eyes as he coughed a bit as he stood up from the wreckage of the broken trees as he took a second to process what had happened to him as he grabbed his sword. 'What just happened?' Lucas thought to himself as he recalled what had happened. He had thrown a corpse at the incoming fireballs and managed to protect himself as Falkor also helped with his own fire breath. Kriemhild himself was shocked at the attack before she was thrown away by Lucas as he saw the soldiers coming towards him as he saw her landing on the ground. After he was sure that he was safe he blocked a sword and punched the chest of the soldier as he was launched back before he ducked as a mace passed over where his head back before he kicked the man and launched him back as he quickly turned and lunged forward and stabbed the soldier in the neck. He picked the dying soldier and threw him at the enemies as he momentarily looked towards Kriemhild as he saw her fighting and defending herself as
Chapter 60
Lucas observed the army for a few moments before he joined back into the fray as he couldn't let the two girls and Falkor deal with the soldiers. By this time Kriemhild and Aslaug had already realised that something was different with the soldier and even Falkor was quite wary of them after a while. Lucas ran towards the soldiers as he felt the runes that had been drawn on his body activating as he let out a breath and attacked an archer and decapitated him before he used that guy's body to smack the ones around him as blood flew out of the neck. Only for him to be shocked as an archer grabbed the headless body and another kicked him at that moment causing him to let go of the body as he had to dodge arrows that were shot at him as he summersaulted and slammed his heel on soldier under him as he was slammed into the ground. He finished it by slamming his other foot down through the torso of the soldier, before he dashed towards the other archers. He decided to leave the mages for t
Chapter 59
Lucas didn't give the soldiers a chance to attack as he immediately lunged forward with his sword ready, the runes taking effect as he swung and decapitated three soldiers as his sword sang as it cut through the necks of the soldiers with ease as its wielder spun around as he shot out flames which burned the soldiers as they cried out in pain. He looked at Kriemhild as she also attacked the soldiers as her sword was also able to cut through their armor and their bodies as the sword was working as he had intended as he smiled to himself as he focused back on the enemies. The mages were busy putting up shields to deflect the flames from Falkor which only annoyed the wyvern as it roared and increased the speed as it flew through the air and attacked the other soldiers as the mages kept on using shields as they knew that they couldn't lose them. The archers also attacked the wyvern but it was proving to be ineffective as the wyvern was able to dodge the arrows as they were getting angr
Chapter 58
Lucas quickly put on his armor and grabbed his sword as he dashed out of his room, startling the servants near his room as they looked at him in shock as he quickly went down the stairs, his armor making noise which caught the attention of his parents as they came out of a room to find him in armor. "Son?" Leif called out in confusion alongside his wife. "The enemy soldiers are attacking!" Lucas shouted as he dashed without stopping as his words caused the eyes of his parents to widen alongside the servants. "What!?" All of them shouted in shock at his sudden declaration. But Lucas didn't wait for a response as he threw open the doors of the entrance as be spotted Falkor who was currently chilling on the ground, though he did sense his Master and looked at him. "Get ready to fly!" Lucas shouted as the Wyvern's eyes narrowed in response as it let out a light roar. Falkor raised his wings as he raised his body up using his legs as Lucas jumped onto his back as he steadied him
