Olivia charged as she tapped her foot on the side of her horse as it picked up its pace alongside her master's as the two stabbed through the soldiers in front of them. The remaining soldiers were a few mages, archers and a handful of melee soldiers as their army charged at them.

Olivia jumped from her horse as her spear channeled lightning through its tip as she threw the weapon towards the soldiers. It impaled clean through three of them as she landed on the ground and she charged forwards as she was attacked by the archers and mages.

She narrowly dodged the attacks as she saw the impaled soldiers raising their weapons which surprised her as the one in the front is wielding a sword, the second and third are mages as she was impressed by their tenacity to keep going.

But she focused once more as she unsheathed her sword as she sliced off the arm of the one in front as she pulled out her spear as the blood splashed on the ground as she glared at the soldiers as her spear's blade was enveloped in lightning.

She then quickly stopped it through their faces, the magic further strengthening her blow and causing their heads to be destroyed, with only chunks left. She felt the urge to gag at the gruesome sight. Even if she is the one who had done it, she had never experienced anything this gruesome before so she was disgusted by what she had done.

But she knew that it was the fastest way to kill the soldiers as there are more. The rest of her soldiers were fighting the enemy, and some of them were killed by the invigorated soldiers of Sweden. She couldn't help but growl at the sight.

'These bastards. They had lost the war and we had an accord! And yet they dare break it and invade my kingdom! The royal family will pay for this!' Olivia thought to herself in anger as she sheathed her sword and charged with her spear.

Her mentor was also making quick work of the soldiers, with his experience and strength, none of the soldiers were able to do anything to him as he weaved and sliced through them all without pause. She was always surprised at the prowess shown by her master and she wishes to reach his level in the future, and hoped to make him proud of her.

But she focused back on the battlefield, as she knew that her master wouldn't like it if his disciple was distracted during a battle. She stopped Lucas who is fighting with Kriemhild as the two were making short work of the enemy. The help from the court mage and the army coming to help them being a major factor in allowing them some breathing room.

She twirled her spear and batted the soldier in front of her to the ground as she stomped on his head and killed him as she charged them with strength, speed and skill.

Aslaug noticed the princess and could acknowledge the strength shown by her, as she was one of the stronger warriors during the war that had happened. But the demigoddess wasn't that troubled by this fact, as she knew that she will be able to defeat her candidly, with the only one being able to do here being Lucas, and perhaps the mysterious mage who is attacking them from afar.

But she would hardly give a person who attacked away from the battlefield any form of respect. If they are not brave enough to appear in the battlefield and face them head on, then she has no respect for them, no matter their prowess in the mystic arts. As far as she was concerned, they were just cowards who hid behind their magic because they are too afraid to fight their opponents face to face.

'In any case, I don't think that this is all the men left. As I recall, there were still a lot more men in their army who were alive after the war had ended. Are they planning to ambush us? No, they would've done so already if that were the case, since the four of us alone was the perfect opportunity to ambush us.' Aslaug thought to herself as she narrowed her eyes.

The last of the enemy soldiers were killed off by the soldiers that had arrived as the demigoddess surveyed the battlefield as she narrowed her eyes, to make sure that every single energy was down on the ground and positively dead.

Olivia met up with her teacher as the two surveyed the battlefield to make sure that every enemy has been killed, and to their relief it seems that it is true. The soldier and the horses with them were also calming down as the battle had thankfully ended.

"Thank Odin, we managed to get here." Andvaranaut said as he sighed.

"I never expected them to do something like this. And that too after the war." Olivia said as she glared at the dead soldiers.

"Even if our two kingdoms are antagonistic towards each other, I am still surprised that the king was willing to do something like this. I never thought that he would actually attack after the war had ended and an accord was established." Andvaranaut said as he narrowed his eyes.

"We were fortunate that Lucas had warned us about the attack, otherwise we would've been taken off our guard." Olivia said as she stood ready to react in case of an attack.

"I agree. But still, the soldiers here are not the numbers of their army. Many are still missing, so either these are just a small battalion of them who decided to attack our kingdom for revenge or they have other plans." Andvaranaut said to her as she looked at him seriously.

"What do you think they are thinking of doing?" Olivia asked him seriously.

"I wish I had a clue princess, but as of right I don't have any idea of what their plans are. But we should however take our troops and be prepared for another assualt. There are still many soldiers left in the army after the war, and only the Gods know what they are planning." Andvaranaut said to her as she nodded.

"You're right. Father is already making preparations for it, and the court mage is also keeping an eye on things. Mother had told me that they are sending our soldiers to the borders to keep watch." Olivia said to him as he nodded.

"What the queen said is true. Even if this is the place from where they had attacked, we have no idea if they will use this as a distraction to invade through the other borders, even if the path isn't viable. We can't take the chance since it is quite clear that they don't care about honour anymore." Andvaranaut said to her as she nodded.

"But still, to attack us now is to go back on the word given to us by the royal family, they are meant to honour it. This will bring dishonour and shame to their entire kingdom, and that's not to say about the royal family for making such a decision." Olivia said as she looked at the man as he frowned at her words.

"That is precisely why I do not understand the actions of the kingdom. The other kingdoms will surely learn about this, and if they learn that the king and royal family cannot be trusted to honour their agreement, it would bring more harm than good to their kingdom as a whole. On the other hand,it would be beneficial for us." Andvaranaut said to the girl as she nodded.

She understood his words of course. After all, by doing something like this the kingdom is showing themselves as being dishonourable and untrustworthy to other lands, which would damage their reputation and credibility. But her own kingdom will gain much from it as the other kingdoms will have more trust in them in comparison to Sweden.

Olivia looked at Lucas who is conversing with Aslaug, Kriemhild and Falkor as the four of them were together. He is rubbing the wyvern's snout while he is talking to the two knights.

'He was able to fend off so many of them with those three. Even if Falkor wasn't part of the calculation, the fact that the three of them were able to kill so many soldiers is praiseworthy.' Olivia thought to herself as she knew that the two women were strong.

Kriemhild wasn't that powerful in comparison to herself, but the same could not be said about Aslaug as the female knight can be said to be on par or at a greater level of strength than herself. Something which the princess was a bit miffed to accept, as she had not know that such a powerful female warrior had existed up until now.

Women do not usually become warriors in their culture, so she is one of the rare few who do. While the Valkyries are a presence in their religion and culture, female warriors are discouraged in favour of them being housekeepers, so there are few women warriors, so the fact that there is a powerful warrior of the fairer sex in the lands is something that was quite surprising.

Olivia had considered herself to be a very powerful female warrior, so seeing how strong Aslaug is was a bit dampening to her mood and sense of accomplishments. However, it also made her want to improve herself and make herself more powerful so that she can fight that woman in equal footing.

'Still, I do wonder where he had gotten the two women from.' Olivia thought to herself as she looked at the two female warriors.

But then she was pulled out of her thoughts when Falkor became distressed and roared which alarmed the soldiers and the others around them as Lucas looked around to find the reason for his wyvern to become agitated. The horses also became agitated as they started to neigh and move a bit around in response.

"What's wrong?" Lucas asked as his senses were still sharp to detect an attack.

'Tch. I guess my senses are still not on par with Falkor's.' Lucas thought to himself as he felt a bit dissatisfied.

But then the wyvern looked at the sky and roared as the other looked and their eyes widened when they saw a large beam of golden light, that was roughly double the size of the wyvern shot over them as they were confused as they saw the trajectory of the attack.

"It's going for the royal palace!" A soldier shouted in terror as he saw where it was going.

The others also noticed this as their eyes widened in shock and many paled at the sight. An attack of such magnitude is sure to cause massive destruction if it landed, and Olivia felt great fear as she knew that her parents were in the palace.

"No!' Olivia shouted in worry and fear.

But Lucas looked towards the enemy kingdom as his eyes widened as he saw more attacks, but this time coming towards them. Falkor, Kriemhild and Aslaug noticed this as their eyes widened. Lucas immediately used his magic and created a portal in front and over them.

"Run now!" Lucas shouted causing the others to see the attack.

The princess and the soldiers saw the numerous attacks coming towards them like fireballs as they became alarmed.

"There are so many!" A few soldiers shouted in fear as they scrambled to get out of the way.

'Tch, this will cripple the army. No choice.' Lucas thought to himself as he increased the size of the portal.

He made sure to cover the entire army, and even though he didn't want to use so much of his magic to preserve it so that he can use it for any big attacks, he wasn't about to just let these soldiers die.

'This is going to be a handful.' Lucas thought to himself as the attacks reached them.

Lucas and his companions stormed the palace as they charged in through the main door and ran as they didn't find any guards there, but they kept running to find the mage and stop this war. They ascended a flight of steps to get to the throne room. But they were met with the sight of more than 100 soldiers who were ready with their weapons as they immediately honed in on the intruders. "Attack!" The commander shouted as the soldiers ran. Arrows and magic flew towards them as Lucas and Aslaug charged forward and sliced the magical attacks while the others followed their lead while dodging the arrows as the enemy soldiers were charging at them at the same time. Olivia wreathed her spear with lightning as she threw it as it sailed through the air and impaled through a line of soldiers and stabbed through the heart of a mage, before it yanked itself out and flew back towards Olivia as she grabbed it as she met the soldiers blades with her alongside the rest. Andvaranaut had noticed ho

Lucas and his group charged through the territory as they passed by civilians and soldiers, the latter of which they dispatched off pretty quickly, as it was quite easy for Lucas to do so with his magic. He also had held from Olivia and Andvaranaut as they also used their spears to shoot lightning at the enemies, the two weapons were given to them by the court mage and they were pretty reliable weapons. Aslaug watched them and frowned as her own sword is unable to do the same thing, which makes her limited in terms of range, which in hindsight would've been useful when she had first fought against Lucas. 'Hmm, I guess that is a limitation I have.' Aslaug thought to herself as she rode the horse as they charged at the castle. Of course, the way to the castle wasn't quite easy as there were soldiers that tried to kill them but they were dispatched off quickly as they made the horses run faster as they felt the wind over their faces and skin as they charged, it was true for Lucas,

Lucas felt his power increase as the runes were becoming more attuned to his body as his own body was getting used to them as well as they were harmonizing as he ran towards the golems and his own brats as the others followed on their foot as they charged at the enemies. Alpha and the rest of the boys also noticed their Lord and the army coming towards them with Lucas at their helm. the guy himself nodded to them as he approached as they smiled at his acknowledgement, but focused back on the battle as they knew that it had more priority at the moment. Lucas charged forward, not about to let this opportunity go by as Aslaug immediately followed after him, being the only one who is equal ground to him, followed by Andvaranaut, Olivia and Kriemhild as they charged. He reached the nearest golem as his sword sang as he slashed it's leg as he passed one of his boys as he slashed off its right arm, grabbed it to have leverage before he plunged the sword into the golems head, got a foot

Lucas couldn't believe his eyes as he saw the golems that were attacking them as he couldn't help but squint his eyes as he saw the things. His irritation growing at how much of a problem this new mage was being to them and how much he wanted to end his life so that he doesn't have to deal with all these things. By now the rest of his group had also spotted the golems as many of the soldiers paled at the sight while Andvaranaut, Olivia and Kriemhild were tense as they saw them. Aslaug just frowned as she looked at the golems, her expression hidden by the helmet. Lucas licked his lips as he growled at the sight of the enemy, the image of his wyvern being hurt was etched into his mind as he could vividly recall the sight of his charred chest and damaged wings. He was going to make them pay for what they have done. "Why don't you use your portals to just send them back." Andvaranaut asked him as they had moved back due to the assault. "It still costs me energy to use my magic. I don

The soldiers watched with wide eyes as the portal devoured the attacks from the enemy as they were awed by the sight in front of them as Lucas grit his teeth while the others watched. "Woah." Olivia said in awe at the sight. "Impressive." Andvaranaut said with a nod. "Master Lucas..." Kriemhild said in awe at the giant portal in front of her. The other soldiers who are being protected by him were also awed as they watched the deadly attacks being taken into the portal as he himself is gritting his teeth to ensure that the portal is stable and stays open, otherwise then the soldiers behind him are sure to die, while the more skilled ones would at least be able to dodge the attacks. Aslaug watched the spectacle as she gripped her sword tight as she saw the magic he is using as she watched the powerful attacks being devoured, and she knew that he would also be able to do the same thing to her if he wanted to. Lucas kept his focus as he kept the portal open until the attack wa
