Chapter 69

Olivia couldn't believe what was happening right now. She had entered the throne room, ready to fight against the enemy prince. But right after she had dodged the energy attack from Eric, a smaller attack had hit her, and to her surprise she didn't feel any pain from him, which was confusing for her and concerning.

And then before she was able to think about the attack, her body moved forward, her arms curled around the shaft of her spear as she slashed her spear, right towards Lucas.

This alarmed her as she wasn't able to stop herself as she felt fear, and then relief when he had parried her attack and pushed her back. But then she saw Master Andvaranaut attack him with his spear as well as he also parried the attack and made the man fall back.

And she saw Kriemhild attacking him from behind as he was moving to protect himself, but Aslaug appeared as she met with Kriemhild and pushed her back which gave her more relief.

Which was when Olivia saw the yellow glow in her master's eyes, and she recognised the glow to be the same that was in the eyes of the soldiers that she had fought. She immediately realised that her master is like this due to the magic of the prince, and that her current inability to control her own body is also a result of it, as she remembered the beam that had hit her.

'When I was hit by that magic, I lost control of my body. Lucas, please, don't die.' Olivia thought to herself as she realised that the situation has become even more dangerous than before.

She felt helpless as she watched it all happen. She wasn't even able to move her eyes, control her breathing, change the way she is standing or holding her weapon.

She was breathing like she had done for years, she stood in the stance that she had practiced for years, the way she held her spear was familiar to how she had been taught and practiced, and yet none of it felt familiar, in fact it felt foreign, as if she was in a body that wasn't her own, because she isn't able to control it.

"So, do you think that you will be able to defeat your allies?" Eric said with a smirk as she heard him.

"Do you think that you will be able to get away with this?" Lucas asked as he kept his eyes peeled as the prince scoffed.

"Do you think that you will be able to fight all three of them "hero"... Are you able to kill them to get to me? After all, they are my pawns now." Eric said with a smirk and mocking tone.

"Oh, do you think that these three will be able to stop me?" Lucas asked as he snorted.

That surprised her, and if she was able to control her body she is sure that it would've shown on her face. But she was a bit sceptical of his claims, after all he had managed to defeat the dragons with the help of his wyvern, and he also needed to conserve his energy to fight against Eric after he fought the three of them after all.

"You think you are capable enough to defeat all three alone?" Eric asked with a wide grin.

"I only need to fight two." Lucas said with a smile.

And then Aslaug lunged and knocked the sword out of Kriemhild's hands before grabbing her throat and choking her as has raised the woman off the floor as she gasped and tried to free herself.

And that was when she felt an increase in her strength and energy as she lunged for Lucas with her master, and brought their spears from two sides to attack him, and she was glad that the spears didn't have lightning on their blades, which would make things easier for Lucas.

But then he surprised her by locking both spears with his sword and then in a burst of speed, skill and strength, twisted his sword and body and buried the blades of their spears into the floor and before they could react, lunged forward in half a second, grabbed them by their throats and lifted them off the ground and slammed them into the floor.

Olivia felt pain from the hit as she gasped, of course she didn't have any sort of control over her body, but she hoped that she wouldn't have to feel the pain. Of course, she didn't stay idle, as she and her master responded by wrapping their legs around his arms, and got into position to break his arms as it is a good idea to do.

Of course, he wasn't about to just let them do that as he grunted and lifted the two of them up, and then he opened a portal which swallowed the magical attack the prince as he grit his teeth.

He then slammed the two of them together as she felt her body hit with her master and felt vibrations from their armors clashing with each other. But of course, her body ignored it and tried to harm him, which only had the effect of doing nothing to him, as he just grunted and muttered an apology before he slammed them onto the floor again as it cracked as she felt her armor get rattled by the blunt force.

She heard him grumble about something before she felt lightning hit her body as she felt great pain and her body loosened and spasmed from it alongside her Master. And if she had control over her body she would've screamed from the pain before she lost consciousness due to the constant streams of lightning through her body.

'This is so painful.' Olivia thought to herself as she fainted from the lightning and pain.

She hoped that Lucas would be able to defeat the prince and make him pay for what he had done to her and her kingdom, she also wished for her parents to be safe after all. And a reason for her to be hit by lightning as well.
