Zed made his way back to his workshop to keep the items he had just bought and also clean up the place. Zed cleaned up the whole place, and in a few hours time the whole workshop was now sparkling clean.
After cleaning it up he decided to leave and return tomorrow. There were a lot of things he had in his mind now that he just received a huge amount of money, and the first thing on that list was to change his wardrobe just like he does whenever he gets paid. As Zed walked toward the shopping mall, he couldn't help but ask the system all the questions that were bothering. "What exactly are you?" Zed asked. [I am the Wealth and Fame building system, and I am here to help you become the number one in the whole universe] "Yeah, you told me that before. But what exactly are you? Who created you or why were you granted to me?" Zed asked, but the system remained mute, not wanting to disclose such information. [There are a lot you are yet to see, host. All you have to do is call out the System's interface and it shall be reviewed] The system's voice sounded in his head. "Ah, so there are other things I'm yet to see." Zed mused, his fingers rubbing his chin as he walked down the bustling street. "System interface!" He said internally. The screen in front of him vanished, and a whole new one appeared. [Name: Zed Zimmerman] [Level: 1] [Amount left to spend to move to the next level: $10,000,000] [Shop] [Daily quests] [Lottery] [Talent] [Gamble] Zed examined the screen while walking through the street. "Hmm.. interesting." He intoned. "It's like a game. Wait, do I need to spend the whole ten million in order to move to the next level?" Zed asked. [Yes! Host is required to spend lavishly in order to move to the next level. When I say lavishly I mean spend the whole $10,000,000 that was given to you after completing the quest. Note, the money you spend from winning the lottery or winning a gamble won't be added to the $10,000,000 that you are asked to spend.] "Ah, I see. This is insane. I have to keep spending money to keep earning money. Doesn't sound bad to me." Zed grinned before lowering his gaze to examine the rest of the screen. While glancing at it he noticed some of the things that were displayed were greyed out. "These ones that are grey, does it mean it's not available?" Zed asked. [Yes, because you are a level one you don't have access to the Shop, lottery, Talent, and Gamble.] The system replied, and Zed couldn't help but frown. He chose to dismiss the screen and check the rest out when he was back home. Zed finally arrived at the grand shopping mall, and he swiftly made his way inside. The mall was the biggest shopping mall in the whole of Sunderland, and it was a place where affluent families came to buy their goods. The place was filled with rich men and women who were walking around here and there with his their families. Zed was able to blend in because he was neatly dressed, and the outfit he wore wasn't bad at all. Zed made his way to the second floor where designer clothes were sold. He wasted no time as he began to select as many as possible. Afternoon selecting clothes, he went to the shoes section and took several sneakers and other types of expensive shoes. As Zed was busy selecting lots of items, the people around couldn't help but notice, and they all glanced at him in bewilderment. Zed ignored their stares as he continued with his shopping. As Zed was busy selecting some limited edition Rolex, he heard a familiar voice from behind.. "What on earth are you doing here?" It was a soft feminine voice which Zed recognized instantly. He then turned around and saw his Ex-girlfriend, Mia, and two of her friends, Carol and Juliet. "What do you mean?" Zed asked, his face devoid of emotion as he glanced at Mia. "You heard me right, Zed. What the hell are you doing in a place like this?" Mia asked. "What does it look like? I came here to shop. You got a problem with that?" Zed replied firmly. Hearing the word of Zed, Mia bursted out in laughter, and her friend chimed in with laughter. "You? Shop in a place like this? Don't make me laugh, Zed." Mia choked out after hanging a good laugh. "What's the problem?" Zed asked with an expressionless look on his face. "We all know your whole life was dependent on her father's company. Every single thing you own was provided by the Eclipse industries, and now that you have been fired you are nothing but worthless trash." Carol, one of Mia's friends, spat. "Oh, is that what you think?" Zed asked. "Stop pretending and just admit it, Zed." Mia voiced out. "Admit what?" Zed inquired. "You are stalking me. That's it.. because what will a trash like you be doing in an expensive mall like this one and also at this exact time? You are a stalker, Zed." Mia retorted. "I'm sorry, what?" The words of Mia took him off guard. "Drop the act, Zed. You know what? I've heard enough. I can't deal with creepy stalkers like you. I'm calling the security." She remarked. "If you call the security, I won't be the one who'll be thrown out. It will be you, Mia." Zed stated. Mia paid no attention to him as she kept calling the security, and in less than a minute two bulky men in uniform arrived at their location. "What's the matter, Miss?" One of the security men asked. "Please, you guys should do something. This trash here has been following me. He is a stalker and a pervert." Mia spat, and the two security men shifted their gazes towards Zed.

Elsewhere in the city...Inside the largest and most prestigious hospital in the entire city — Pentagon Hospital — a man walked briskly down a wide, polished hallway. He appeared to be in his late forties, a man of commanding presence, dressed in a fitted brown suit with a matching brown top hat perched elegantly on his head. His expression was cold and sinister, the kind that sent shivers down the spines of anyone who dared to meet his gaze. He leaned slightly on a walking cane held firmly in his right hand, but his steps were purposeful, radiating dominance and lethal intent.Trailing behind him were two large men, their physiques nothing short of monstrous. Their bulky muscles strained against the fabric of their black suits, and their faces bore the hardened, emotionless expressions of men for whom human life held little to no value. They were living weapons — enforcers of violence and death. They moved forward with grim purpose, the sound of their footsteps echoing off the steril

Zed exited the lounge and made his way out of the building. As he stepped outside, he noticed that the hotel, which was once lively and bustling with people, was now almost empty. Most of the guests had already left after completing their interviews, while the ones who remained were either yet to be interviewed or had already been rejected and were now lingering around, hoping to plead for a second chance — or perhaps to bribe someone after the official proceedings had ended.Zed chose not to pay attention to any of them. Without sparing a second glance, he simply walked across the wide lobby, pushed through the heavy glass doors, and made his way towards his car parked a few meters away. He pressed the unlock button on his key fob, heard the soft beep, and pulled the car door open. Just as he was about to step inside, a voice called out from behind him."I thought you had already left," the voice said.Zed turned around slowly, his expression calm and unreadable. "I know who he is," Zed finally said, his voice low and even."I know exactly who he is. Blood trickled steadily from their mouths and broken noses, forming small dark puddles beneath their heads.Zed stood over them like a grim executioner, his fists still clenched so tightly that the veins on his arms bulged. His chest rose and fell with calm, controlled breaths, his sharp gaze fixated coldly on the defeated men.'I did improve after the skill leveled up,' Zed mused internally, the thought flashing through his mind like lightning. He knew without a doubt: if his martial arts skill hadn’t leveled up, this outcome would have been far less clean. He might still have scraped out a victory, sure—but it would have been ugly. The hall fell into a heavy, awkward silence. For a few moments, no one moved. Then, slowly, everyone began to resume what they were doing before the commotion. Some sipped their wine and resumed quiet conversations with their business partners, while others, curiosity gleaming in their eyes, made their way toward Zed.Zed inwardly cursed. He had wanted to keep a low profile tonight—to avoid any unnecessary attention—but his actions had just painted a giant target on his back. Now, everyone in the hall knew exactly who he was.Businessmen and women surrounded him, bombarding him with a barrage of questions about his company. They asked how Platinum Industries had managed to create and distribute such an astonishing number of vehicles to various dealerships in such a short time. Some even boldly asked whether he had made any
