Under the moonlight, Lucian had returned to his room in a hotel after the ball.

With the portion he was given as a reward by the A+ City President, he knew it was the right time to initiate the process.

His legs were crossed where he sat, calmly letting the energy within him shift. A faint pulse traversed his veins, and everywhere around him was utter silence.

Nothing could interrupt this process now. The energy surging within him broke through the limits that once held him, pushing into another stage.

With that, he was just one step closer to the next meridian. But he wasn't in a rush, he knew this process all too well, and it required only one thing from him: patience.

Other than that, he knew one thing, he had changed. He was different. He wasn’t the same man who was always bullied by his in-laws.

A man who couldn’t walk, always used as a source of entertainment.

All of that ended today. And now, he was far greater in power than anyone.

Henry couldn't stop him. Neither could those other men. Who could stop him now?

No one. Absolutely no one.

Now, he moved on to the first phase of his act.

He picked up his phone and made a call.

"Good evening, Master, How are you doing today?." Angelica’s voice came through.

"I’m doing just fine, thank you," he replied, taking a towel to wipe his face.

"What can I assist you with today?" She asked.

"I need you to take care of something important, you are going to cancel the current movie publication. And yes! You will replace two very important roles.” Lucian fixed his gaze on his reflection in the mirror.

“Have Tracy replaced with A+ President's daughter, she's perfect for the role. As for the other replacement, use anyone of your choice.”

"Understood Master."

The call ended, and Lucian tossed his phone onto the bed then stretched his body before taking one last look at his new physique in the mirror. “And now, it begins.”

The next day came faster than expected. Normally, it was meant to be peaceful, but it wasn’t.

Social media was ablaze, with a lot going on, and it all came from one source.

"Believe me, guys, this is going to be the best movie production you're ever going to see!" Tracy’s voice rang out from countless phones as people watched her post.

"I know this is wrong, but you guys just have to see what I’m talking about!"

Someone clicked the next post under her video, and a teaser for the movie production came up.

"This, my loving fans, is the juiciest part of the whole production. You can’t tell me you don’t want to see it after watching this!"

Lots of comments poured in uncontrollably.

They didn’t stop. They kept coming, right under her post. Every single feed from several individuals was flooded by her video.

It didn’t matter where they swiped, they kept seeing her post.

Lucian, who had just woken up to the chaos on social media, scoffed and dropped his phone. He turned on the TV.

To his surprise, even the news was carrying her post.

All TV channels were focused on Tracy.

"This is absurd," Lucian scoffed before taking a sip of the coffee prepared for him.

His gaze then met the very important part of the production that she leaked online.

“Hold on a minute… I believe this part of the production was forbidden from being leaked online?” He chuckled, not moved by her childish behaviour, “She’s in for a big shock.”

"I can’t wait for this movie to drop, guys. It’s going to be a big bomb, trust me! So start spending your money now on our tickets, you don’t want to miss it!"

Lucian kept his gaze steady.

"I’ve been through so much. From my cheating ex-husband to that woman he left me for. I can’t believe he left me for that thing!" Tracy made various posts, updating her fans.

Shots fired. Lucian’s calm gaze turned into a smile.

"I don’t care what’s going on between them," she said with pride. "but I know they are very much incapable of achieving what I’ve already achieved."

His smile didn’t fade. It was as if he had anticipated she would say those things.

Immediately, he received a phone call. It was Angelica.

"Master, have you seen the news?" she asked. "Even social media is on fire right now."

"Yes, yes… I’m aware," he responded calmly, the smile still on his face.

"Is there anything you’d like me to do about it?"

"Yes!" Lucian took another sip of his coffee, stood up, and moved around the room. "Make the first two thousand tickets free, and sell the next two thousand at half the price. Also, promote the video even more, double it."

"Uh… alright, Master."

"Don’t be confused. It’s all simple tactics. You’ll understand once the new version drops."

"Alright, Master. Everything will happen just as you wish."

"Good."

Lucian downed the remaining content in his coffee mug. He went straight to one social media app on his phone.

Within a few minutes, Angelica had accomplished her task, and everyone went mad.

Different posts and an intense comment section exploded across the platform.

It was all just a piece of entertainment for Lucian, who still had bigger plans for his ex-wife.

Now, all he could do was sit back and watch his plan unfold rapidly, with the first two thousand tickets free and the rest sold at fifty percent off.

Days slipped by, flowing between nights and back to days, until it all came to a stop.

"I can’t believe it’s today!" Tracy yelped with joy, excitement in her voice as she walked down the red carpet at the cinema with her lover, Henry.

"Me too, dear. Everything seemed to happen so fast, I didn’t even realize today was the day," Henry chuckled.

"Silly you." She kissed him on the cheek.

"Come on, come on. Our seats are just up front."

They walked to the front, the audience cheering them on as the stars of the show.

Once they settled in, the time for the main event came, and the movie was set in motion.

As it began, Tracy and Henry held hands. The first few minutes of the movie passed, then came a scene that was meant to feature them.

Just as it drew closer, Tracy’s eyes widened in shock when her gaze met a woman who wasn’t her… in her place. And another man in Henry’s role.

"What’s going on?" Tracy managed to say, her heart sinking. "Who are those people?"

Tracy wasn’t the only one in shock, Henry was also stunned, unable to say a word.

The whole audience was confused.

Whispers broke out from every corner.

What the audience had seen in the leaked teaser and trailers wasn’t what they were seeing now.

Before them was a new remake of the original movie, the one everyone had been eagerly anticipating.

"Someone tell me what this means!" Tracy screamed as she stood up, shaken.
