Twenty... nineteen... eighteen...

The mechanical countdown slowly faded, replaced by the agonizing rhythm of steady beeps ringing in my ears. It felt as though thousands of razor-sharp needles were piercing my brain. Every time the beeping sounded, something warm pumped through my chest, a foreign energy surging through my veins with blazing heat that spread all the way to my fingertips.

I jolted awake, my breath catching violently in my throat.

The last thing I remembered was standing frozen beneath the raging storm on the streets of Arkadia, staring at the blue holographic screen declaring that I, a poor courier, now possessed an unlimited account balance.

The agony from the container truck that had slammed into me was completely gone.

"Is the patient on this stretcher some kind of miracle or what?!" a hoarse paramedic suddenly shouted from beside me, snapping me out of my daze. "He was hit by a speeding container truck. Witnesses said he was thrown dozens of feet! His skull was split open. Every rib should've been shattered. But look... his wounds closed by themselves at the scene! That's impossible!"

I groaned and slowly opened my eyes.

The brilliant white ambulance lights stabbed into my retinas.

I was already inside an ambulance racing down the road.

Biological Regeneration Process: 98%... 99%... 100%. Complete.

The mechanical voice echoed again, this time much clearer inside my mind.

I didn't scream, even though the lingering memory of the accident still clung to me like a fresh trauma, making my heart pound wildly.

The body that had been crushed moments ago now felt as light as cotton.

The pain was gone.

The broken bones were gone.

I could even feel that every muscle in my body had become denser and stronger than before.

A system... What does all of this mean? I demanded silently.

Welcome back, Mr. Arkan. You have been reincarnated as the sole user of the Unlimited Transaction System. Your true life has just begun.

The words made me bolt upright on the ambulance cot, startling the medic checking my pulse so badly that he dropped his clipboard.

"Oh my God! The patient's awake?!" the paramedic cried, his face turning ghostly pale. "Easy, buddy! Don't move yet! You just escaped death!"

I ignored him.

My hand immediately reached for my forehead, the spot where Siska's silver bracelet had struck me hard enough to draw blood, the place where my skull had smashed against the asphalt.

My skin was smooth.

There wasn't a single scar.

Not a single drop of blood.

Only the dried remnants of rain clung to my tattered courier uniform.

I clenched my fist, feeling the newfound strength flowing through my body.

"I... I'm okay."

My voice was hoarse, yet it trembled with explosive energy.

A few minutes later, the ambulance arrived at the Emergency Department of Arkadia Central General Hospital.

The staff quickly wheeled my stretcher inside.

But the welcoming atmosphere vanished the instant the attending physician noticed the low-tier subsidized health insurance card sticking out of my worn wallet beside the stretcher.

"A courier?" the middle-aged doctor muttered behind his glasses.

After giving me only the briefest physical examination, he tossed the insurance card onto the desk.

"He doesn't have decent insurance to cover the hospital's operating costs. Patients like this only make the hospital lose money if they can't pay."

He looked at me with utter contempt, as if I were a piece of trash contaminating his examination room.

"Hey, kid! You're conscious, aren't you? You're stable now, even though I have no idea what miracle kept you alive," the doctor said, crossing his arms. His voice was cold and dismissive. "We need a five-thousand-dollar deposit right now for a full-body scan to make sure you don't have any internal bleeding. If you can't pay, then leave. Don't use the ER as a free place to sleep."

I had just started climbing off the stretcher when the phone inside my jacket vibrated.

I pulled out my phone, its screen shattered into countless cracks.

A bank text notification appeared.

But something about it was strange.

The interface had transformed into shimmering golden text that radiated an almost magical glow.

System Transaction Alert: New User Reward Successfully Claimed!

Funds: USD 10,000,000 (Ten Million Dollars) have been deposited into account 9823-xxxx-xxxx under the name Arkan Wijaya. The funds are now active and available for immediate use.

My eyes widened.

Ten million dollars?

I almost forgot how to breathe as I stared at the endless string of zeros filling the screen.

This wasn't a scam.

My bank account, which had been nearly empty just hours ago, not even enough to buy the dinner Brandon had mocked me for, had been transformed into a fortune beyond reason.

"Are you still standing there?!" the doctor barked, pointing sharply toward the exit. "If you don't have money, then get out! There are dying patients outside who actually need help, not some broke courier looking for free treatment!"

The nurse beside him sneered as she glanced at my clothes.

"He's already poor, and he's still wearing that sweat-soaked courier uniform. Don't let him dirty the VVIP sheets, Doctor. Just throw him out."

Hearing their insults made my blood boil.

Brandon's smug grin flashed through my mind, along with the moment he slapped my face with a bundle of hundred-dollar bills.

"People like you are only fit to be stepped on."

Those cursed words echoed in my ears.

Enough.

I would never let anyone trample me again.

I slowly turned toward the doctor, meeting his gaze with eyes that had suddenly become as cold as ice.

Before, I would've lowered my head in shame, trembling as I begged for mercy.

But now, something sharp and powerful had awakened deep within my soul.

"Oh... so you're refusing to treat me just because I'm wearing this uniform?"

My voice was calm, but the weight behind every word was so overwhelming that the nurse beside him instinctively fell silent.

I stood tall, staring directly into the doctor's eyes.

"Who said I can't pay?"

Bang!

I slammed my worn wallet onto the desk, pulled out my old, peeling debit card, and threw it down right in front of the doctor's face.

"Run this card. Then tell me how much it would cost to buy everything in this room, including your ridiculously cheap pride."

The doctor froze for a moment before bursting into laughter, insulted that a mere courier dared challenge him.

"You're awfully arrogant! Fine. I'll remind you where you belong. You'll be crying the second you see a number that'll make you collapse!"

Scowling, he lazily picked up the card reader.

To teach me a lesson, he deliberately entered ten thousand dollars, twice the amount he'd demanded before.

He intended to extort me while humiliating me.

"There. Enter your PIN. Then you can see for yourself when it says, 'Insufficient Ba...'"

BEEP!

The card reader's notification cut him off.

Its small display flashed green, followed by the unmistakable sound of a receipt printing.

Transaction Approved.

The doctor froze instantly.

His mocking laughter died in his throat.

His eyes widened.

"D-Doctor... what's wrong?"

The nurse snatched the receipt from his hand out of curiosity.

A second later, she nearly lost her balance.

"T-This... this is impossible..."

"The remaining balance on this receipt..."

I walked over calmly, took the receipt from their hands, and folded it right in front of the doctor's face.

"There's still nine million, nine hundred ninety thousand dollars left, isn't there?"

A cynical smile spread across my face. It was the exact same cold smile Brandon had worn when he crushed my dignity.

"Doctor... Nurse... is this sweat-soaked courier uniform finally valuable enough to deserve treatment at this hospital?"

"M-Mister... we sincerely apologize! W-We truly made a terrible mistake!"

The doctor's voice had completely changed. It trembled with fear. He bowed over and over, no longer daring to meet my eyes.

Before I could respond, the emergency room doors burst open.

The hospital's general manager rushed inside, breathing heavily, then immediately bowed deeply before me.

"Mr. Arkan! We sincerely apologize for the negligence of our incompetent staff! We will prepare our finest facilities immediately! Presidential Suite Number One, our best specialists, and complete VVIP service, all for you!"

"Move me now. And make sure I never see the faces of these two again."

My voice was as cold as ice as I pointed at the doctor and nurse, who now stood there utterly defeated.

A few minutes later, I was inside the spacious, luxurious Presidential Suite.

As I walked toward the bed, a holographic status window materialized once again in the corner of my vision.

System Data Analysis

Primary Revenge Target: The Dirgantara Family (Risk Level: Low)

Wealth Progress: USD 10 Million / USD 10 Billion (Stage 1)

System Recommendation: Full authority over Dirgantara Group has been prepared. Acquire the target's physical assets tomorrow morning to destroy the foundation of their economic power.

I read the notification as my heart pounded.

Dirgantara Group.

It was the massive conglomerate that supported Brandon's entire fortune. The company that allowed him to live with such arrogance.

A cruel smile slowly spread across my face.

Siska... Brandon...

Tomorrow morning, I won't be delivering other people's packages anymore.

I'll be the one buying their world.

I'll buy their company, buy their pride, and strip every ounce of respect from the mouths that once looked down on me.

Just as I was about to lie down, the phone in my hand vibrated again.

An incoming call from a number I knew all too well.

The name on the screen read:

Siska.

I stared at the glowing display in the silence of the luxurious room, letting the ringtone echo through the night.

My smile grew even colder.

The game had only just begun, and they weren't even ready for its opening move.
