Thunder exploded in the sky, now entirely transformed into a black vortex. Dark clouds swirled like a gigantic dragon circling, and beneath them, the battlefield began to form.

Rocks from the temple ruins shifted, creating a giant circle in the middle of the ground. The circle emitted a faint blue glow, as if holding traces from an age before humans knew civilization. On the other side, the black rift where Morgaz appeared formed a bottomless chasm that continuously absorbed the surrounding light.

Darren clenched his fists. The warmth of the Soul-Light Bond still burned in his chest. Each of his breaths now aligned with Lyra, Maeve, and Seraphina's. He could feel their hearts beating fast, fear and courage mixed into one.

"If one of us dies," Maeve murmured softly, "do the others die too?"

"Not die," Elyzar quickly replied. "But you'll feel the pain together. One wound... all wounds."

Seraphina took a deep breath. "Then we have to stay alive. Together."

Morgaz raised his hand. "CHARGE

The false sky collapsed into emptiness. Echoes from the Last Gate crept into every pore, carrying whispers of death and ruin. Seraphina struggled to hold the cracking energy shield, while Maeve helped Darren rise from a thin pool of blood spreading across the stone floor.Lyra stood at the edge of the abyss, her body trembling, her hand reaching toward the void where Kael had vanished. But there was nothing left to grasp. Only emptiness greeted her.Beyond the gate, a colossal shadow began to rise slowly, its form incomprehensible to human eyes—a body made of fragmented souls screaming in torment, nine eyes, no lips, yet a voice poured from it like crumbling tombstones.“I am the Sealed One. The one you awakened, heir of the wound.”“Kael has become the torchbearer. His blood is the key, and his soul... the bridge.”Seraphina screamed, “It’s him! The ancient entity sealed by our ancestors—Amun'Reth!”Maeve turned swiftly, eyes wide. “If that really is Amun’Reth… we’re finished. This w

  • The Final Gate

The air grew heavy, as if the world itself was holding its breath.Lyra stood with Darren, Maeve, and Seraphina at the edge of a ruined corridor. Before them, a figure cloaked in black with a skull mask stood motionless, flanked by two massive stone pillars etched with ancient glowing carvings—symbols of sacrifice, suffering, and power. Behind him, Kael stood atop the corpse of a frozen dragon, purple blood dripping from the dagger in his hand. His eyes blazed deep crimson, like embers of an unquenchable grudge.“The Final Gate,” Seraphina whispered. “The center of all darkness. The birthplace of destruction itself.”Maeve clutched Lyra’s hand. “That’s Kael… isn’t it? But why... he looks like—”“Not just looks like,” Lyra murmured, her voice hoarse. “He has become part of the darkness.”Kael looked up. “You’re too late. The sacrifice is done.” He kicked the dragon’s body, which began to crack into shards of black crystal. “And the key is in my hands.”The masked figure stepped forward

  • Brothers in Darkness

The world stood still.Lyra froze. Her breath caught in her throat, cold sweat trickling from her temple to her chin. Her sword trembled in her hand—not from fear, but from confusion that cut deeper than any blade.“Kael…?” she whispered. “That’s not possible. You’re dead. I saw it. I was the one who—”Kael raised his hand, silencing her.“You left me, Lyra. That’s the truth.”That voice… It was the same. The same tone that once soothed her during the darkest nights of their childhood. But now it rang cold, like metal scraping stone. His once-warm face was disfigured—part of his left cheek burned, and from his left eye, a trail of dried blood streamed like the roots of an old tree.“No…” Lyra shook her head slowly. “I tried to save you… I ran back… but they had already taken you…”“And you never came looking for me,” Kael cut her off. “You became the hero. The Guardian of Light. And me? I became something the kingdom buried, so I wouldn’t stain our family’s name.”“Kael, I—” her voice

  • City Without Time

The sky was gray. Not like overcast clouds—truly gray—as if the sky had lost its color and meaning. Towering buildings stood in silence, like unfinished architectural sketches. The wind blew without sound, leaving only a piercing chill. A chill that came not from the skin, but from deep within the chest.Lyra woke up lying in the middle of a cracked street. Wisps of smoke curled from the asphalt, and each of her steps echoed—tap... tap... tap...—far too loudly for a world so silent.“Darren?” her voice was hoarse. “Maeve? Seraphina...?”No answer. Only faint whispers floated from behind empty buildings. She raised her sword, alert. But the light that normally radiated from the blade was now dim.“No...” she whispered. “The Soul Bond... is weakening?”She bit her lip. Without her full strength, she felt like the Lyra of the past—the frightened girl, the uncertain one. But she couldn’t afford to break. Not here.Suddenly—SREEETTT...A shadow crept from a crack in the wall. She spun and

  • The First King of Darkness

The sky above the temple slowly crumbled. The walls of the chamber, which had held the dark vortex, now cracked one by one, spreading like gaping, open wounds. The energy from the rift was no longer just darkness—it was primeval emptiness, something even magic shied away from touching.Lyra staggered. She had just sealed the dark side within herself, but now... something far more terrifying was awakening. The figure emerged from the bleeding rift, slowly. Its steps were heavy, like echoes from an ancient age never recorded in any scripture. It was tall, almost touching the collapsing ceiling, with a body clad in obsidian-hard skin, bat wings as wide as a battlefield, and glowing red eyes—piercing the soul of anyone who met its gaze.Maeve recoiled a few steps, her breath caught in her throat. "That... that's no ordinary creature..."Seraphina swallowed hard. "No. That is Morgaz, the First King of Darkness. A legend even the Elders are reluctant to name."Morgaz turned his head towards
