Chapter 80 The Trap

Later that night, Jack didn't want the incident that had occurred the previous night to happen, so he gave imade the excuse of having some paperwork to finish up.

When he was alone in his room, there was something he had tried to remember he needed to accomplish. Like a flash, it occurred to him that he had made a mental note to reach out to Jeremy. He picked up his phone and put a call across to Jeremy.

"Hello?" Jack faltered a bit; the person who had picked up wasn't Jeremy, and the voice sounded familiar.

"Hey man." Another thing Jack noticed was the fact that there had seemed to be some sort of struggle with the phone before Jeremy's voice surfaced.

"Yeah, how do you do?" Jack asked.

"I'm doing great. So why did you call?" Jack noticed how he was stuttering a bit while answering the call.

"Well, Xavier called earlier this evening and complained bitterly about the Vladimir issue, stating that it needs to be addressed."
