Austin's heart was clouded with joy at the thought that he could now return to his family after such a long time.

But there was something strange about this sudden callback call but he just couldn't place his hands on it.

"Something doesn't seem right." He said under his breath almost immediately.

He could feel his heart beating hard against his chest as though it was going to burst through.

"I guess that I will have to go and see my father now." He said to himself.

For the first time in a long while, he took an Uber to the venue of the meeting.

His eyes sped off towards the wristwatch that he had in his hands only to notice that he was just in time.

For some weird reason, his heartbeat continued to go faster than normal as his eyes sped off toward the large building.

Following the news that he has been following about the family's company, it was one of their latest collection

He sipped in a really deep breath and walked slowly into the place. So large that he could hardly make his way through the place.

"I think that I should call Dad now." He thought in his head, bringing his phone from his pocket only to notice that his phone's battery was already dead.

"Shit." A slight groan escaped from his mouth almost immediately as confusion flooded his head.

"What can I do now?" He thought again, really confused as random thoughts ran out through his mind.

He tried to make out the address that he had seen earlier on the phone screen as he walked gradually towards one of the people that he saw working already.

"Hey, what are you doing there lying around when there is a lot of work to be done?" He heard footsteps from behind causing him to turn around slowly to see who it was.

His glance caught up with the best friend of his wife, Rose as she made her way towards him, her face disappearing into a sudden frown.

"Well, well, well, look who we have here. If it isn't the bum that I just passed by on the road."

Seeing her, he could not spit out even a single word from his mouth as memories of the past Flashed in his head.

How she had used him and treated him like nothing other than a slave.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, darling. I heard about your lost blood can't night here.

This isn't under the bridge or somewhere. You were fed so much by the heartbreak that you can't find your way. Poor you."  She had a sorry but mocking look on her face while she continued to stare at him.

"Rose, I am not in for this. I'm here to see Mr. Rufus, he called out his father's formal name." He replied but immediately he spat out the words from his mouth, and she burst out into laughter.

The other workers stopped laughing almost immediately, turning around towards him as they joined her in her laughter.

After a while, she paused, staring right into his eyes like someone had just seen a ghost.

"I have seen a lot of swindlers from the little time that I have spent on the surface of the earth and I have to commend you for being the most stupid one ever.

Just take a good look at yourself. Do you think that you are worth seeing the CEO? As worth. King of punks?" She noted and every other person in the place burst out into laughter.

Austin could already feel his anger rising steadily but he tried as hard as he could to control his rising anger.

"And what if my claim is valid?" He frowned

"I'm going to lick the dust off from your feet." She mocked him.

His eyes paired at the wristwatch in his hands and he could tell that everyone was already waiting for him.

"What do I do now?" He murmured under his breath seeing that Rose was not going to let him take even the slightest step away from the place.

"See Rose, I don't have time for all these jokes of yours. I am running out of them and I need to see the CEO because I have a really important meeting with him now." His words were a little more dense and serious.

But she just couldn't ever see him as anyone important enough to see the manager.

"See mister. I don't have all the time in the world talking to an obvious fool like you. You will have to make your way out of this place." She frowned at him.

"And what if I decide not to? What are you going to do?" He replied with a dark frown hanging on his face, not ready to move away from the point that he was standing even for a single moment.

"Then I will have to make you do it." She replied walking away from him towards the telephone at the other end.

"Is this security?" She inquired, throwing deadly glares at him.

"Yes. And how may I help you, Miss. Supervisor?" The voice from the other end replied.

"There is someone that is causing trouble here. I want you to come and get him out of this place right away."

"We will be there soon." The caller from the other end replied.

Rose walked back towards his direction staring right into his eyes.

"I can see that you are a very stubborn fool but soon, you will be properly dealt with." A long hiss escaped from her mouth.

Just then, the sound of noticeable air of grace slid down slowly from the stairs but Austin didn't care to take a look even for a single moment.

Phone beeping occurred afterwards and the steps drew closer towards Rose.

She shifted her gaze swiftly only to notice that it was the manager

"Good day, sir." Her countenance changed immediately into the most smiley face in the whole world.

"You are looking for someone really important. Don't know if by any means he has come by here. Tall, hazel eyes." He could hear the familiar voice streaming into his eyes and for the first time, his eyes shifted up only to notice that it was his best friend Ramsey.

"Ramsey?" He could not contain his joy.

Ramsey turned around swiftly towards him as he was struck in his stare unable to spit out even a single word from his mouth.

But before he could get to say anything, Rose interrupted them.

"You fool. Are you still standing there? I thought you had taken those sorry legs of yours out of this place already."

"Excuse you?" Ramsey couldn't help but marvel at her audacity.

"What's going on here and why are you referring to him?" The frown that was hovering on his face was vivid.

But Rose was way too busy, trying to tear Austin apart into limbs and showcase herself that she didn't notice even for a single moment.

"It's this fool that was trying to cause trouble. But you don't have to worry sir. He is a small issue and I will have him taken care of already." She replied shooting stares at him.

"I don't understand. Are you referring to Austin or I would say, Young Master." He said with a slight bow.

"Or someone else."

"Young Master?" Rose was surprised by his choice of words plugged into the world of her unconsciousness.

Possibilities ran through her head but staring at Austin and their odd history together, it was difficult for her to believe even a single word of it and she threw it away from her head.

"It can't be possible. He must be making a mistake or something." She assured herself once against.
