003: Ding!

Bruised and bleeding, Dylan looked up at Emily and Oliver who stood before him, smiling.

"How could you do this to me...?" He asked Emily, feeling betrayed.

"I can't keep trash around me! I dispose of them!" Emily said as they laughed.

Dylan cleared his throat as he managed to say "Do you know that our daughter was diagnosed with terminal illness? Our only daughter! And I came to tell you about it...so you can at least save our daughter..." He hoped that could change her mind.

Even if she won't save him, he hoped she could save their daughter. But Emily scuffed.

She folded her arms as she said "Well. That's perfect. If she's going to die then it means there's nothing holding us together anymore!"

Dylan stared at her in immense shock. He couldn't believe his ears!

Emily smiled as she got out a piece of paper and threw it to his face. "Now that we aren't a daughter anymore, sign this divorce paper and let's be free from each other forever! So even if you die, you can join your daughter later in the afterlife!"

One of the gang forced Dylan's fingers to use his blood and sign the contract.

Emily smiled with Oliver. She said "Do you think I'd care? I never liked you two to start with. Now that I have a better life, I should look forward to bearing a heir for Oliver" she smiled, kissing him.

Dylan only stared without words.

Then Emily said to Dylan.

"You'll be dead soon anyways. So I don't care what happens to you! So enjoy rotting here on the street like the trash you are! And don't worry about your parents, I'll take care of them! I'll send your mum off to become a slave for a rich man and have you sister serve at a brothel!" She smiled.

Oliver laughed "Yes. Don't worry. We'll make sure they live well!"

Dylan couldn't fight. He couldn't speak. He could only stare as the two of them laughed and left in their car.

He was shattered by the thought of not being able to protect his family at all.

The next morning. The doctor still hasn't been paid so he ordered the nurses to take the the little girl away from their hospital.

While they were doing so, a lady walked.

She was Lea. A beautiful young lady with pretty eyes and blonde hair. A perfect shape to top it all. And she was a doctor in the hospital.

"What's happening here?" She asked them as they explained.

The lady was speechless. "How can he be so heartless to do this to a kid?!" She asked as she instantly ordered them to take the kid back in.

Lea know this was going against her boss, The doctor. But she wanted to save life more than her career!

So she sacrificed her career at the hospital and singlehandedly operated on the little girl. She was a top doctor at the top of her game so she could do it alone.

And in an hour, she had saved the little girl from danger.

When she was done, The doctor had stormed into the room "And what the hell do you think you're doing?! Didn't you hear my instructions?! How dare you go against them!"

Lea stood and spoke firmly "It's inhuman to watch this little girl die because of money. It's not her fault"

But the doctor wasn't having it. The doctor had lashed at her and had immediately declared.

"Oh! You think you're so smart?!" He scuffed "Then get out of my hospital! From now onwards, you're fired!"

Lea already saw it coming. She knew this would happen if she went against his words to save the girl. And she did it anyways, taking the risk.

Her boss hated her, especially since she had rejected all his sexual approaches towards her.

Lea accepted this with a good fate "Sure. I'll leave this hospital if you want. But I have a condition. Let me take the kid with me"

She didn't see any parents anyway, so Lea was worried about leaving the girl alone here. She'd rather take her and keep her safe until she finds her family.

"Sure. You can take her! I don't care! Since her parents have all been taking away and branded criminals by the government! I don't want that trash in my hospital!"

Lea was confused "Taken away? Criminals?" She tried asking him what happened but her boss was eager to send her out.

And so she left with the little girl, she guessed she'd find out the truth later herself.

Dylan woke up in jail the next day. His body was still bruised and scared. The injuries from the beating was fresh that he felt like he was dead in hell.

It happened that he wasn't dead yet and the security had caught him and taken him to jail after all.

He was sentenced to a life in prison. And Dylan couldn't help but mourn his pathetic life.

In a world where money meant power and all, he and his family were at the bottom! Poor pathetic fellows who cleaned the shoes of the shoes and still get little!

He couldn't even save his daughter from the hospital and spent his time crying and wondering what could have happened to her daughter.

In prison, he also heard that his mother was sent off to be a maid to another home. And his sister was sent to some brothel for the rich!

"That's their son! The criminal" Someone in jail laughed at him.

"So dumb to think he could steal from the governor"

"His life really is pathetic. And he also looks like a complete useless failure!"

They ridiculed him all day in prison while bullying him. His injuries never left. They were always beaten back fresh and he was always bruised in pain.

His life in jail was pure hell.

One evening, he was laying there at a corner, his body covered in bruises and blood, insects and flies were roaming around him already.

The criminal boss of jail had come in. Huge and muscular. Everyone in jail feared and respected him. And he had come to snatch money and food from the newbies in the cell - Dylan's cell.

As he was snatching the meals and money of others, Dylan lay in a corner, feeling dead already. He simply waited for his turn when the boss would beat him to pulp!

But then, a blue screen suddenly appeared before him like a transparent computer monitor.
