Victor sat in front of a police detective, ready to recount his harrowing experiences.

The detective’s name was Fred, as it was clearly read on his badge. "Tell me, what happened exactly?" Fred asked, folding his hands in front of Victor.

"What happened was that I was waiting outside a five-star hotel waiting to catch a cab and head home when the man pulled up in a motorcycle in front of me. He offered to give me a ride, but I found it suspicious and declined. He suddenly grabbed my arm tightly, I broke free from his grip and escaped." Victor continued explaining how the whole event happened up until he made his way to the station.

"Oh my word, that must have been an intense experience. I am glad you took the initiative to come straight down here; that’s smart of you," Fred commended with a smirk.

"Yeah, I figured he might know my house address since he knew where to find me," he replied.

"First of all, do you have any idea who he is or who might have sent him to you?" Fred asked, raising an eyebrow. Hearing that question, he started thinking long and hard about who might have sent someone after him. Suddenly it hit him about what he did to Natalie and her friends and that it must have been one of them that sent someone after him, plus it explains how the man got his location. But from the time difference to when the man came to the location, he couldn’t make sense of how quickly the man got to him. Even if it was one of them, he couldn’t pinpoint which of them it was.

"I have a few people in mind, but I have no idea who it might be," he answered.

"I get you; will you be able to describe the man that was after you properly?"

"Of course, I can," he answered. Fred told him to wait as he went and called an officer who would sketch the image of the man that Victor would describe.

Tacha entered back into the hotel room and sat down on the couch that was next to the bed. "Natalie, can I have a private chat with you? Come over here," she called. She wanted to get Victor’s house address from her and send Duke after him.

Natalie came down from the bed as she sat close to her. "I need a favor from you, and I don’t expect you to ask me too many questions," Tacha said softly. She didn’t want the other girls to hear what they were talking about.

"What is it? You sound serious," Natalie replied, gazing at her.

"Yeah, I am. I want you to send me your ex-boyfriend's house address," she said bluntly.

"What do you need it for?" Natalie asked curiously.

"It’s nothing serious; I just want to have a package delivered to his house."

"What? Why? I hope you are not planning anything bad. He might be an asshole, but I don’t want to cause him any harm," Natalie said with an innocent look in her eyes.

"No, it’s not like that; I don’t plan on doing anything bad to him, I promise; just text me his house address; that’s all I ask for," she replied. She could see that Tacha sounded sincere in her request and probably meant what she said as she agreed to send her address. She took out her phone and texted the address to her.

"Thanks," Tacha replied as she copied out the address and sent it to Duke, telling him to be quick.

She stood up from the chair and went into the hotel room toilet, telling the girls that she would be back. She got in and sat on the toilet seat. She took out her cell phone and dialed a number she had saved for emergency issues only. She called the number, and after a few rings, the person answered the call.

"What is it, princess?" A manly voice asked on the other end of the call.

"There is an urgent situation I need your help with; are you available?"

"Of course, I am always available for you, princess," the man answered.

"There is a man that I think might come into one of your departments tonight. I want you to single him out if you find him and take him to a location that I will send to you. I hope you will be able to pull it off, and if you don’t find the man or if any of your people don’t find him, just let me know; that won’t be a problem," she explained.

"Alright, it’s not going to be an easy task, but of course, I can handle it for you," he answered boldly.

"Okay, I will send you his picture, his details, and the location you are to bring him to," she said.

"Will do," he replied. She ended the call. She texted the number, a picture of Victor, and his name, and also shared a location with him; the location was that of Duke.

After that, she called Duke and informed him that the second plan was in motion and that he should tell her if she found Victor at home.

***

Duke pulled up in front of Victor’s apartment building as he went through the front desk, claiming to be one of Victor’s relatives. He arrived in front of Victor’s door and noticed that it was locked.

He knocked on the door. "Victor! Are you in  there?"He yelled, hoping for an answer, but after waiting for a few moments, he didn’t get any.

‘I guess that means he is not in; that must mean the boss’s calculations are correct, but I have to mess up his place before leaving’ Duke thought as he moved backward, dashed towards the door, and smashed it wide open.

Victor’s small apartment came into view. "I can’t believe this; he lives in this small shithole? How could someone like this have angered the boss? I don’t get it, but I must follow my orders," he wondered to himself as he started by smashing the small couch that was in front of him. He destroyed the bed setting and also scattered the kitchen area.

***

Meanwhile, Victor was still waiting for Fred to come back into the office when Fred entered the office with another office behind him.

"Victor, you are going to describe the man to him; he will make the sketch, and I will run it through our database," Fred said as he sat down behind his desk.

Victor started describing Duke to the sketch officer, and after about 30 minutes, he was able to describe him. The sketch officer handed over the white sketch to Fred as he exited the office.

"Hmmm, let me run it through our database, and I will know exactly who it was that attacked you," Fred said as his cellphone started ringing. He picked it up and saw that it was a conference call from the chief of police. He answered it swiftly, disregarding everything that he was doing.

"Everyone should listen up; there is a man that is going to show up at the station tonight to lay a complaint; any of you that see him should immediately take him to a location that I will send in the group chat; I will also drop a picture of him there, over and out," the Chief of Police stated as he ended the call.

"Hmm, this sounds pretty serious," Fred mumbled as he opened the group chat and saw a picture of Victor. His eyes widened; he couldn’t believe that the person that the COP talked about was the one sitting in front of him.

He knew to act cool so as not to alarm Victor, but he needed a way for Victor to follow him to the said location without him suspecting anything. He came up with a plan quickly; he pretended to run the facial recognition as he told Victor that he had done that.

"I know the location of the man who tried to attack you, and I would like for us to head over to that location now and arrest him," Fred said boldly as he stood up.

"Alright, let’s go," Victor replied excitedly. He felt relief that the police had found Duke’s location.

Fred and Victor arrived at the station packing lot as they got into the front seat of the car. Victor found it suspicious that they were the only ones heading to the location and that the office didn’t bring any other offices with them. "Don’t you think we should have gone there with more officers?" He asked as Fred started the car.

"No, there is no need for that; I have all the equipment to apprehend him; he won’t suspect a thing," Fred responded as he entered the location given to him by the COP on the GPS and started driving.

"You should be grateful that you came straight to the police; we are going to do everything in our power to end this case as soon as possible and bring the man to justice," Fred said boldly as he was focused on the road.

"Thanks, detective; I appreciate it," Victor replied with a smirk. He felt like a huge burden had been taken off his chest now that they were going to apprehend Duke.

They arrived in front of a tall, dark abandoned building.

The police are currently looking for him, but there's been no progress. I happened to overhear a conversation with the principal of the high school and found it suspicious, so I snuck into his office after school hours and hacked into his computer. I know it’s illegal to do that, but I just needed an answer."“I understand, but what did you find after you hacked into his computer?”“Everything is in this drive over here; you can have a look for yourself,” Victor handed the drive to him.Santos placed the drive on the laptop on his desk. He started going through the documents on the drive as his eyes opened wide. “What the hell!” He yelled.“What is it?” Victor wondered why he yelled like that.“There are a co
