The next day, the first part of the mission commences. Invisible reconnaissance drones are hovering above the gambling center, and some of the informants have now infiltrated the place undetected. Vincent and Jessica are now wearing their disguises and they are now riding a limousine so that they would look expensive before entering the red carpet. As they reached the red carpet, the door of the limo opened by itself. Vincent was the first to get out of the vehicle. Wearing this fancy white suit, a long-haired silver wig and some sunglasses. He helped Jessica get out of the vehicle. She too is wearing a fancy suit, but the makeup is what made her even more beautiful. All of that is Angela’s responsibility, and it was perfect.

“What? Are you just going to stare at me or continue with the mission?” Jessica asked.

Vincent snapped out of it as he offered his arm at her and they walked down the red carpet. They reached the security, and they are quickly asked about their identifications,

“Roberto Gonzales,” Vincent then leaned forward towards the ear of the guard, “Don of the newly founded drug cartel in this city.” He whispered.

The guard have his eyes widened as he then went to get the top-up machine.

“For VIP’s, you must pay a million GAMs for the entrance and membership.” Says the guard.

Vincent took out his card and tapped it on the machine. It showed a green light and a million GAMs is successfully transferred to the organization. It’s his own money, he spent it with the assurance that the squad would repay it back to him. They both are welcomed and was assisted by a bellboy and as they enter, Vincent is fascinated by the size of the place. Golden chandeliers are hanging from the ceiling, and everything is just too expensive.

“The VIP lounge is this way, sir.” Says the bellboy.

As Vincent looks around, he saw the informants already on their positions. All of them nodded at each other,

The eyes have sight. I repeat, the eyes have sight.” Reported one of the informants.

“Good, continue. We need to finish this within the given time for us by the government.” Violet told her squad members as all of them went to work.

Vincent and Jessica are now at the VIP lounge, and what they saw inside is what made Vincent’s blood boil. In the lounge, multiple high-rate criminals are gathered. All of them received a bounty on their heads and a dead or alive status. They all committed heinous crimes and are now organizing big crime groups that are notorious all over the world. The door closed behind the two, while Jessica gripped on Vincent’s arm to have him remain calm as they can’t compromise the mission just because of this. She also has her blood boiling, but she has to maintain composure as they can’t let this mission fail. They would get these people soon and put them behind bars. However, they have a bigger problem, and if they are to finish this mission successfully, it would be of great help to catch these criminals.

“So, you are the new drug boss in this city? Let me ask you, what product do you sell?” a fat guy asked.

“We are starting at magic candy. It’s quite popular with students and young ones, but we are planning to upgrade as we are going to buy some more facilities to make more products, different ones at that.” Vincent replied as he and Jessica sat down on a sofa next to them.

“Roberto Gonzales, never heard of you. Are you a foreigner?” a blonde woman asked.

“No, no. Of course, you would’ve heard of me. I’m a small-time thug before investing into a bigger business.”

The fat man was Pedro “The savage” Rodriguez. Killed over 80 people in one night, and is now the boss of an underground gang that is the cause of some chaos at the north. And the blonde woman is Agatha, a heinous criminal. Committed a lot of crimes. Fraud, homicide, murder, and drug trafficking to name a few.

“Well, the business is harsh, Mr. Gonzales. Heroes won’t let you off the hook once they have their eyes on you already. But don’t worry, we’ll help you rise the ranks. Please be informed, though. All of us in this room have a common enemy.” A muscular man says.

He is the ex-con-ex-hero criminal, Yuji. Killed a mayor, mutilated a lot of civilians, and now runs a drug cartel.

“Who might that be, may I ask?” Vincent asked.

“Four-Eyed Miles. That son of a bitch destroyed our main market in the city he is now leading. Once we get our hands on him, we will be sure to torture him before killing him. The balance of the underworld is now tipped because of that fucker.” Pedro cursed.

Vincent chuckled, while Jessica is now afraid for him. All these criminals are aiming for his head, and yet, the person next to her is just smiling it off like it’s some kind of joke.

“According to the rumors, he is here in this city. Collaborating with the Amazonian Tigers to infiltrate this center and bust all of us. Quite an amusing dude.” Agatha says.

“Well, it’s the city he is born and the city where his shitty noble family lives. It’s only natural for him to defend it. But that just made him an easy target. Our men are all over the city, waiting for the right opportunity to get his head. If he dares to enter this premises, his head would be rolling out of it by midnight.” Yuji smiled as he cracked his knuckles.

They all have a grudge against Vincent, but the hero they are talking about is as calm as he can ever be while drinking his coffee,

“If that fucking hero is in front of me, I’d report it to you guys right away. Trust me, I hate him as much as you do. But for now, since I’m new here, will we get to meet the one who runs this place?” Vincent asked.

The criminals gasped. As if that word does not exist. When the silence is now taking over, the door flung open and a bearded man entered with a monocle over his left eye,

“Since you’re new, I’ll let you be that way, just now. Please be informed that we do not speak nor mention his name. You’ll know who is the one running this place when you are called to his attendance. That’s all there is to it. And if you don’t have any more questions, please, let our men guide you to your room.” Says the man who just entered.

“Thank you, sir—”

“Sir Nicholas, a retainer of our master.”

“Thank you, sir Nicholas, well, I’ll see you when I see you, excuse us.” Vincent says as he looked back at the criminals and then he and Jessica followed Nicholas to their rooms.

The VIP rooms are at the second to the last floor above, a quite luxurious room. Has a king-sized bed, expensive champagnes on buckets, and other expensive stuff.

“I will now leave you, sir. Enjoy your stay.” Nicholas waves goodbye as he left the room.

Vincent sat on the bed and was about to take off his disguise when Jessica stopped him.

“Don’t, let’s head to the bathroom.” She warned.

Vincent sighed and then stood up as they went to the bathroom. Jessica then told Vincent that there might be hidden cameras in this room, other than the bathroom. So, they can now discuss on what they saw earlier. Jessica concluded that they might need to be worthy to get an audience with the master of this place, but Vincent kept asking on how if they introduced themselves as a newly-emerging drug cartel with no notoriety or whatsoever. However, both know that that explanation is the safest way for them to  go undercover. Jessica was about to go and call Violet, but Vincent stopped her this time,

“Why?” Jessica asked.

“Just as there’re cameras, there are devices or things that would detect the communication. They can easily track it down and we’re busted by then. So, let us figure out a way before we contact them, it’s too risky for now.” Vincent told Jessica.

Both of them now knew the situation they are in right now. If they are to fail this mission, then the two of them would not get out of this facility alive.

Where is the one that has people in it?” Vincent asked. The woman simply smiled at him. Tears trickled down her face and her veins bulged because of the pain. Vincent stepped on the arm harder, and she wailed.“The southern port! The southern port is the port where the warehouse of trafficked humans is kept!

He laid on his chest as he observed the warehouse from over a few hundred feet away.“That Serene personality wasn’t lying then, huh?” Vincent thought to himself as he saw that outside of this big warehouse, dozens of armed men stood guard.“Those rifles must be loaded with incapacitation bullets. Flames, can you feel it.” Vincent asked.“Yeah, even from this distance, I can sense that familiar power.” Flames replied in Vincent’s head. The Incapacitation power, the ability to render a hero powerless. One severe wound, it might cause either death, or it will never heal.“What’s your plan, kid?” Flames questioned as he knows that his host can’t just storm in there knowing that he’ll be killed in an instant with those bullets.“First…we observe.”As Vincent went on and watch the happenings, he was taking down notes, and with the camera he brought (Sophia insisted on bringing it), Vincent sna
