Blego, Smaora City.

The man was still alive when they started cutting him.

He hung from an iron hook in a dim underground chamber beneath the Kross Family Mansion, his body already drenched in blood. Every breath he took rattled, weak and broken, yet his eyes were filled with terror as he stared at the people in front of him.

“I… I’ve told you everything…” he begged hoarsely.

A young man in a tailored suit stood before him, wiping blood from his hands with a silk cloth. He smiled faintly. “Not everything.”

The man’s pupils trembled. “Please… spare the Kross Family… they don’t know anything…”

The man paused.

Then he laughed softly.

“Exactly.”

A blade flashed.

The man’s head dropped.

Moments later—The gates exploded. Gunfire shattered the night. Screams replaced laughter. Blood flooded the halls.

And as the massacre began, a woman hid in the shadows stepped forward slowly, her voice gentle… yet colder than death itself—

“Don’t leave anyone alive, Almighty Drakmor”

****

Valmor Kross sat in the back seat of a military off-road vehicle, took a puff from the cigarette in his hand, and slowly exhaled the smoke.

His gaze was like blades, filled with intense killing intent as he stared at the Grand Silvercrest Hotel ahead. In his eyes, there was boundless hatred!

Half a year ago, on a deep night, the Kross Family was massacred—blood flowed like rivers, corpses lay everywhere, even the child were brutally smashed to death.

A sight too horrific to behold!

A grievance that cried out to heaven and earth!

This incident should have caused a massive uproar, yet it was cooperatively suppressed by several mysterious forces. Neither newspapers nor the internet carried even a single word about it.

For the ordinary citizens of Smaora City, many didn’t even know such an inhumane tragedy had occurred. Even among the upper classes of both the underworld and legitimate circles in Smaora City, the matter was deeply taboo—no one dared to investigate or pry.

At the time of the Kross Family’s brutal annihilation, Valmor was at the northwestern border, drenched in blood, commanding his 500,000 Elite Black Rider Army in a life-and-death battle against enemy forces.

When he learned of his family’s catastrophe—

At that moment, even Valmor, invincible in the world, holding supreme power, known as— Valhalla Calling —The King of Carnage, could not help but have his eyes filled with tears.

His aged grandfather, his kind parents, his respected elder brother, his lively younger sister, and his young nephews and nieces—all had become black-and-white memorial photos...

Pain!

Unbearable pain!!

In grief and fury, Valmor accelerated the defeat of the enemy while secretly ordering a full investigation into the entire incident.

In just half a year, Valmor led his 500,000 Elite Black Rider soldiers to defeat 1000,000 enemy troops, achieving victory against overwhelming odds and shaking the world!

Tonight, he returns with a wrath that could burn the heavens!

This will be the beginning of vengeance!

Crash!

In a surge of anger, Valmor crushed the cigarette in his hand. Sparks burst from between his fingers before going out, yet he felt no pain at all.

“Lord, please take care of your health and do not anger yourself lightly. Mere local powers of Smaora are not worth your personal action—we can handle them.”

A general named Dannell Scott respectfully requested.

Valmor shook his head. “This is my family’s matter. I must handle it personally. Only by killing my enemies with my own hands can I console the spirits of my loved ones in heaven.”

Before his words even faded, the temperature inside the vehicle suddenly dropped, cold as ice. This was Valmor’s killing intent—the overwhelming aura of slaughter he had brought back from battlefields piled with corpses and seas of blood.

Such killing intent was chilling and unstoppable—anyone who stood in its way would surely die!

Dannell fell silent like a frightened cicada, not daring to speak another word. He knew the King of Carnage’s word was absolute.

The king among countless war gods—far more terrifying and unfathomable than the war gods people know!

“I’ll go in and take a look.”

With a cold gaze, Valmor stepped toward the entrance of the Grand Silvercrest Hotel.

As one of the economic centers of the province, Smaora City’s extravagance and decadence were astonishing.

Tonight, a celebration banquet would be held at the Grand Silvercrest Hotel. The achievement being celebrated was the successful acquisition of the Alpha Group from Kross Family.

The vast Alpha Group had been acquired at an outrageously low price—this was nothing short of outright plunder!

The company that acquired the Alpha Group was the Barbar Family of Smaora City. After absorbing the Alpha Group, the Barbar Family would own the largest company in Smaora City and become renowned nationwide.

The Barbar Family had always been a powerful and wealthy family in Smaora.

The male lead of tonight’s celebration was Linzell Barbar, the second young master of the Barbar Family. And the female lead… was Valmor’s fiancée, Kelsey Stone!

After the Kross Family’s destruction, Kelsey Stone not only remained unaffected but rose from a woman of a minor family to a social elite of Smaora City—and became Linzell’s girlfriend.

Valmor had already uncovered everything: the Barbar Family had promised the Stone family that after destroying the Kross Family, they would split the Kross Family’s wealth in Smaora. Blinded by greed, the head of the Stone family agreed.

Originally, after this war, Valmor was to return home and marry Kelsey. Under the pretext of letting her familiarize herself with her future living environment, the Stone family head sent her to the Kross family’s household. Using her status as the future daughter-in-law, this venomous woman stole numerous secrets of the Kross Family and gained endless benefits during its destruction.

Moreover, after the Kross Family was wiped out, she added insult to injury—slandering and defaming the Kross Family, becoming the vanguard in suppressing its remaining forces.

This ungrateful, treacherous woman who repaid kindness with betrayal and brought ruin upon the Kross Family—her crimes were unforgivable even in death…

Valmor steadied himself and stepped into the Grand Silvercrest Hotel.

Glittering jewels, dazzling lights, and a world of indulgence.

The celebration banquet had not yet officially begun, and Linzell Barbar and Kelsey Stone had not yet appeared, but guests were already taking their seats one after another.

Valmor glanced around at the crowd, unhurried, and casually found a seat.

The table he chose was not very full at first, but as the banquet was about to begin, it quickly filled up.

At that moment, a disdainful voice rang out beside him. “Hey, which company or family are you from?”

Slightly tilting his head, Valmor saw that beside him sat a young man in a pink suit, hair slicked back, acting flippantly, his expression arrogant as he stared at him.

“Is there something you need?”

Valmor asked calmly, though he didn’t know this young man.

The young man, hearing Valmor’s question, sneered with contempt and disdain. “I could tell from the start that you’re no one of importance. So you probably don’t even know who I am, right?”

Valmor, however, simply turned his head and ignored him entirely, neither seeing nor hearing the man.

“You!” The young man, infuriated by Valmor’s indifference, shouted arrogantly, filled with self-righteous anger. “I am Ethan Carter of the prestigious Carter Family of Smaora! Kid, if you know what’s good for you, get your ass off this seat! Lady Arabella Sinclair’s side is absolutely not a place for someone like you!”

It was then that Valmor noticed—he hadn’t realized when a beautiful woman had taken the seat next to him.

The young woman was around twenty years old, wearing a red gown that accentuated her stunning features, dazzling everyone. Her name was Arabella Sinclair, the cherished jewel of the prominent Sinclair family of Smaora, a famous beauty CEO in the business world, never lacking men fawning over her like dogs. This so-called Ethan was just one of those men desperately pursuing her.

Arabella short as Bella, sitting beside them, watched with keen interest, as if enjoying a spectacle. She was curious to see what would happen to the man who dared to ignore the heir of the Carter Family—and how utterly miserable his fate would be.

But Valmor remained unmoved. He lightly lifted the teacup from the table and drank his tea as if nothing was happening.

“Damn it! Are you deaf or what? I said get up!”

As he shouted, Ethan reached out, aiming to grab Valmor by the hair and haul him off the seat.

However—

Before Ethan’s hand even touched him, it felt as if he had been shocked, and he hurriedly pulled it back.

His eyes widened in disbelief and terror as he stared at the center of his palm—through it, two chopsticks had somehow penetrated…

He let out a cold, contemptuous laugh and said viciously.“Uncle, hurry up and call Major General! This brat actually dares to impersonate a commander—he’s simply tired of living!”Jaidyn Evion had both his arms and legs broken, his flesh and blood mangled and bones shattered to pieces. He lay on the ground like a pile of rotten mud, yet still barked recklessly through clenched teeth.“That’s right! President, you and Major General have such a good relationship.
