“Ah!!! My hand! You dare to hurt me!”

Ethan stared at his palm, blood gushing out, screaming in agony like a slaughtered pig.

A pair of chopsticks—piercing through a human palm—how much force must that have taken?!

Everyone around was stunned by the scene before them.

No one had seen exactly how Valmor had struck, but everyone understood that Ethan’s pierced palm had everything to do with the mysterious man in front of him.

“He… actually…” Arabella was also frozen, completely unprepared for this outcome.

In her eyes, this man dressed so plainly—no matter how skilled he might be—would never dare offend Ethan. Yet she never expected that Valmor would strike so decisively and ruthlessly.

Such an act, occurring at the Barbar Family’s celebration banquet, was simply…

Out of bounds!

Utterly arrogant!

Seeking his own death!

At that moment, Arabella didn’t hesitate to step away from Valmor, fearing that others would assume she had some connection with this reckless man. If that happened, both the Carter and Barbar families’ anger would inevitably be directed at her.

Valmor then set down the teacup in his hand, slowly stood up from his seat, turned to look at Ethan, and said coldly.

“If you don’t want to die, get out of my sight immediately.”

“You little bastard! I’ll make sure you disappear from this world forever!” Ethan ground his teeth, glaring at Valmor and cursing.

Valmor narrowed his eyes, looked at Ethan, and smiled faintly. “Seems like you really want to die.”

Before the words had even left his mouth, Valmor strode toward Ethan, his expression utterly cold, exuding a terrifying murderous aura.

This killing intent was like a million iron-blooded soldiers advancing, able to sweep away any obstacle.

Ethan, terrified by the sudden aura, felt his heart pounding, his legs retreating instinctively as he shouted in fear.

“What… what do you want?! If you dare kill me, the Carter Family will never forgive you!”

“Is that so? Then it’s simple—let the entire Carter Family disappear from this world!”

Valmor’s voice remained icy, a sinister smile curling at the corner of his lips.

Boom!

Hearing Valmor’s words, everyone present felt as if struck by lightning.

The Carter Family, in Smaora City, may not be as powerful as the Barbar Family, but it was still a centuries-old influential family.

To wipe out the entire Carter Family!

Such an unimaginable statement—perhaps only a few long-standing, powerful figures could pull it off.

But Valmor, dressed extremely plainly, wearing no designer clothes, and so young—anyone looking at him would never believe he possessed such terrifying strength.

No one there believed Valmor could actually annihilate the Carter Family; they all assumed he was just bluffing.

“Stop! That’s enough!”

At this moment, Arabella stepped forward to intervene. Ethan was her admirer, and Valmor was sitting beside her. This incident had happened because of her. If Valmor really killed Ethan here, the Carter Family would rage, and if the Barbar Family placed blame on her, she would not be able to escape the consequences.

However, Valmor ignored her and continued advancing relentlessly.

Thud!

Ethan, terrified by Valmor’s murderous aura, felt his legs weaken, unable to stand, collapsing to the ground. His eyes widened in fear as he stared at the approaching Valmor, cold sweat pouring down his forehead.

Seeing that Valmor completely ignored her, Arabella’s brows shot up in anger. Furious, she thought to herself: How dare this ordinary-looking man not give face to the eldest daughter of the Sinclair family?

Without hesitation, she took a few brisk steps forward and shouted sharply. “Didn’t you hear me tell you to stop?! Are you deaf?!”

Valmor casually glanced at Arabella and, with calm dominance, said. “You say stop, and it stops? You say enough, and it’s enough?”

“If you dare speak to me in this tone again, you’ll disappear from this world immediately.”

“You… if you insist on being unreasonable and reckless, you’re looking for your own death!” Arabella froze, her face turning pale with rage.

“Heh, is that so?”

Valmor gave a cold laugh. Clearly, it was Ethan who had caused trouble first, and now he, the reasonable one, was being accused of recklessness? Absurd!

Seeing that Valmor continued to show her no respect, Arabella, pride swelling, continued loudly. “What kind of attitude is this? Don’t you realize your actions will anger the Carter Family and bring about a disaster of unimaginable proportions? Could it be that you also want to offend the Sinclair family?”

“The Sinclair family? Do you want to disappear from this world like the Carter Family too?” Valmor asked back with complete indifference.

Arabella’s eyes blazed with arrogance, her red lips curling in a cold sneer, looking down on Valmor. “Heh, utterly blind! You don’t even know the power of the Sinclair family in Smaora City. Let me warn you: if we want to kill someone, it’s as easy as stepping on an ant!”

The prestigious Sinclair family, originating from Warfall Heaven in Smaora City, controlled the three largest underground organizations in the city. Their subordinates numbered nearly a thousand deadly men, earning them an infamous reputation in the underworld.

For years, other wealthy families in Smaora City avoided confronting the Sinclair family unless absolutely necessary.

“So what?” After hearing Arabella’s arrogant threats, Valmor only asked calmly.

Seeing Valmor’s casual demeanor, showing no regard for her, Arabella grew even angrier, grinding her teeth.

“Right now, before the Barbar Family who organized this banquet notices what’s happening, you’d better kneel and apologize to Ethan. Use any means necessary to earn his forgiveness! Otherwise, even if the Carter and Barbar families don’t punish you, I, Arabella, will never let you go!”

“You little bastard! Did you hear that?! Miss Arabella wants you to kneel and apologize to me! If you kowtow three hundred times in public, maybe I’ll consider sparing your miserable life!”

Encouraged by Arabella, Ethan also shouted arrogantly at Valmor.

Clang!

A gleaming dinner knife was suddenly thrown in front of Valmor. Arabella, with a superior air, looked down at him disdainfully.

“You’ve now offended the Carter Family, the Sinclair family, and the host family, the Barbars. In Smaora City, offending even one of these is a death sentence. Now you’ve angered all three—your death is inevitable!”

“I’m being kind-hearted. You can sever your own tendons and crawl out of here yourself.”

“Interesting. This is the first time in my life someone’s asked me to harm myself. But looking at this knife, I think you should keep it for yourselves!”

Valmor smiled, completely unfazed by Arabella’s words. His face was cold and fearless.

“Reckless! Get someone to drag this brat out and chop him up for the dogs!”

Arabella was thoroughly enraged. In all of Smaora City, no one had ever dared treat her like air.

“Yes, drag him out and feed him to the dogs!” Ethan shouted alongside her.

“You’re too noisy.”

Valmor shook his head and casually swung his hand, delivering a powerful slap across Arabella’s face.

Smack!!!

The crisp sound exploded.

Arabella’s beautiful face twisted from the force of the slap. The golden hairpin in her hair flew off her head.

Immediately, Valmor’s right hand snatched the hairpin from the air.

He threw the golden hairpin toward Ethan, not far away.

Thwack!

The sharp hairpin pierced Ethan’s eye socket, entering the eye and exiting through the back of his head, embedding deep into his brain, only the diamond-studded tip visible.

Ethan’s face was frozen in utter terror and disbelief as his body slowly collapsed onto the carpet.

Instant death!

One strike, and he was dead!

Everyone watching was left dumbfounded, mouths agape.

No one could have imagined that Valmor would dare to slap Arabella in public and even kill Ethan in front of everyone.

It was… utterly insane!

A demon!

This had to be a demon!

“Murder!!!”

Women screamed in panic.

Guests around them recoiled in terror.

“You… you actually dared to hit me?”

Arabella, still stunned from the slap, finally regained her senses. Looking at Ethan’s bloody corpse, she yelled. “You… you killed Ethan too? You… how dare you…”

“Believe it or not, I can still kill you!”

Valmor’s eyes, dark like the night sky, turned to Arabella, and boundless killing intent instantly enveloped the arrogant woman.

This was the aura of a battlefield soaked in blood, a killing intent far beyond what Arabella, daughter of a local underworld boss, could withstand.

Arabella felt as if Valmor’s gaze were a primordial beast, capable of tearing everything apart—limitless terror.

“Ah!”

A scream of fear escaped. The once overbearing and arrogant Arabella collapsed to the ground, trembling violently, sweat forming in large beads on her forehead. A yellow, foul-smelling liquid spread beneath her.

The eldest daughter of the prestigious Sinclair family had been so terrified that she lost control of her bladder. If this got out, both law enforcement and underworld figures would laugh at her mercilessly.

Valmor looked at Arabella with disdain and said. “Within seven days, I want to see a sincere apology from the Sinclair family. Otherwise, neither you nor your family need to exist in this world anymore.”

After saying this, Valmor ignored Arabella and turned to another direction, having already spotted his target.

Arabella, long after Valmor had left, finally recovered from her fear. She realized her humiliating state, that she had wet herself out of terror, and felt the shocked, judgmental gazes of those around her…

Slapped in public, scared into losing control—her reputation was utterly destroyed; she could never face anyone again.

“I, Arabella, have never suffered such humiliation in my life! I will kill you! And your entire family! You just wait!”

Running out the hotel doors, Arabella clutched her swollen, bruised cheek, turning back toward the building, her face twisted with rage as she swore in her heart that she would take revenge on Valmor for this insult.
