Thomas' Past

You bastard! You're motherfucker!" Thomas stormed into William's office and entered William's workspace. The man looked angry and slammed the desk. Meanwhile, William looked relaxed in response, he even smirked.

"This is just the beginning, Thomas. I've only just started my game." Thomas was infuriated, as William had sent a video and photos of him being intimate with Bianca in the office yesterday afternoon. Before meeting with Thomas, he had instructed someone to install a hidden camera in his workspace. Actually, he just wanted to see what that bastard was up to. However, no one expected Bianca to come and the two of them did something inappropriate in the workspace.

With a racing breath, Thomas punched William in the face, hitting the corner of his lips, 

"You're a savage, William!" He shouted while the 32-year-old man looked at Thomas. Then, he gave a strong kick in the stomach, causing Thomas to fall down.

"Remember, Thomas. I'm not the William you used to underestimate." William choked Thomas until he had trouble breathing, but William didn't care. According to him, he deserved this treatment. "Never fight against me if you want to live safely. Because I could easily tell Arianna about your affair." Thomas's body writhed, feeling almost dead as William choked him. However, shortly after, a knock was heard from outside the door.

"Damn." The 32-year-old man grunted in annoyance when someone came to interrupt him, he immediately released Thomas' neck and moved away from that bastard.

"Our business is not finished yet," William warned him, and Thomas quickly left. Apparently, it was Sandy who met him, "Why did Thomas come to our office?" Her colleague asked after seeing Thomas looking disheveled after leaving his workspace. William just smiled, "I just gave him a little warning."

Sandy came to invite her friend to discuss the Patterson company they acquired, and some new people with suitable qualifications had been recruited as new employees there. Sandy has also changed all the regulations that Thomas had previously set.

They have now announced that Patterson Asset Management has become part of Frank Development Property. Until now, the largest company in the real estate field is no longer owned by the Patterson family. But, it belongs to William. Not only did he buy shares in Patterson's company, but the 32-year-old man also bought some shares in a well-known company in the same field.

"Thomas? I heard that our family's main company is almost bankrupt, and you sold it to William. Is that true?" During dinner, Mrs. Patterson asked her son-in-law with hostility. Thomas looked confused and unsure how to answer.

"Answer, Thomas! You're not deaf, are you?" Mrs. Patterson became angry and slammed her fork down, startling her three daughters and son-in-law. Meanwhile, Bianca looked at her mother. The blonde woman sighed and said, "Calm down, Mom. Even though William bought shares of our company, believe me, Thomas will restore our company to its former glory."

Thomas confirmed his sister-in-law's statement, but Arianna remained silent, observing Bianca's closeness to her husband. Arianna noticed that their relationship was not just that of in-laws, as she caught them joking and being close to each other. When asked, they simply replied, "We're just in-laws."

"Why do you seem like you've defended my husband, Bianca? Don't you remember who William is? Aren't you worried that someday he will seek revenge for what we did in the past?" Arianna looked cynically at her younger sister, and the smile on Bianca's lips disappeared, replaced by awkwardness.

"I-Is there any problem? I just defended  Thomas because I think he's right. That's all," Bianca said defensively.

Arianna smirked and shook her head at her younger sister's behavior, "That's just ridiculous."

Meanwhile, at the Frank family mansion, William was relaxing on his bedroom balcony, looking at the night sky and seeking fresh air. He had just received a message from his subordinates regarding his uncle, Roemy. Previously, he had asked them to investigate his uncle. Apparently, Roemy's relationship with his son had been cut off long ago after Roemy became a fugitive when he was found to be the mastermind behind a murder in Perth a few years ago. At that time, Thomas was eyeing the daughter of a prominent family in Melbourne, so he decided to cut off ties with his father and exile him to an apartment in Perth.

"Now I really know your past, Thomas," William murmured as he looked at the photos sent by one of his subordinates through a message.
