Mylos had gotten himself accustomed to the relentless attacks from demons. He believed that they were drawn to his hidden ability somewhat, and must want it for their worthless selves. He could do nothing about it.

"I have been promised ten thousand gold Yreo for your wretched head, youngling. It's a shame I was too late in reaching you, or you would have made me easy gold to last more than a few years."

Mylos smirked coldly as he held his sword, not making a move as he scrutinized his opponent. Alas, his little head carried a heavy bounty which numerous hunters gunned for despite his status and reputation.

For that only, he'd been constantly attacked by troupes of hunters in unison with the demons after his ability. He had never been allowed to rest with their targets behind him, and had been killing attackers left and right.

Although he never thought that the demons would also gain a reward for hunting him. He believed that only the hunters from other dumb races were after his life! But, a second of thought settled his doubts.

Why else would so many demons attack a youngling of the Chaos family if there wasn't any additional reward to it? Why would they risk death for his unknown ability just to get slaughtered by him?

"Haha! To think you'd dream about killing me! Being no stronger than any of my guards, I'm curious on how you believe you could beat me." Mylos cackled, but was on high alert in case his enemy did anything stupid.

He had more than a few years to hammer the basics of an exchange into his head. He understood that letting a weird opponent see any opportunities in attacking you despite how they composed themselves — was stupid.

His opponent, a tall dark haired woman clad in revealing loose fitting robes, rolled her serpentine eyes. After that action, she sheathed her sword and relaxed her tensed muscles, "Don't worry. I'm not trying to get killed."

Not trying to get killed? Mylos sneered in his heart, he could think a number of ways he would use in killing an idiot that let her guard down from such a short distance, and vice versa if the opponent's idiocy was just a facade.

"You're trying to look stupid." Mylos spat out coldly as he glared at her, not dropping his blade with his face as cold as steel, "Even disarming yourself would not make you seem less of a threat to me."

Mylos was prepared for anything. Unless she somehow lost all her limbs and senses, she existed as a threat. His goal in situations like these, was to eliminate threats with all the strength he could possibly muster.

"My name is, Plethora. Of course, I'm only doing this to help you loosen up a bit. Seeing you act so stiff is not in any way pleasing for me to watch." Plethora swept back the hair in her face, then smirked. Her eyes gleaming.

"My father would be here any second, and wouldn't like to sense the likes of you. I'd like to chat a bit before that happens." Mylos narrowed his eyes as he calmed down to listen to the sound that was being transmitted to his ears, "Hurry up, they're close."

Of course, it was the incoming footsteps he was able to hear coming closer to the mansion. He estimated them to be a few buildings away, and believed that they would reach him soon if they kept that speed.

"Someone is out for your head — An Eminence. Guild leader discussed with one of yours about silencing your humble self for something you saw." Plethora watched Mylos carefully, "Something forbidden."

Eminence? Forbidden? She doesn't mean—!

Mylos' pupils contracted as a realisation struck him. Of course, he'd been endlessly attacked by numerous crazy demons ever since the day he stepped in there! He was made to believe that it was because of some attraction to his power, but not that someone had planned all this!

An Eminence wants to silence him! He wants to get me killed so I wouldn't tell anyone what I saw there! I would not believe the Sword Eminence knows nothing about a crazed uncle trying to kill his nephew.

"From your reaction, I believe it is true. I do not know what forbidden rule you must have broken, but you are not safe. Unless you're strong enough, you'll be hunted down and killed soon enough." Plethora's smirk grew.

"Hunted down and killed... By what? A hunter, a demon or an Eminence? Heh heh."

Mylos' eyes narrowed as a light danced within them, his brows furrowing and lips curving into a mad smile. Not a single one of his uncles had angered him like this before! He had handled mere taunts and bullies, but trying to kill him? They think too lowly of the chaos family!

"...!"

All these demon attacks must be a ploy to learn what I must have gained from that place! The fact I have not yet revealed anything to them must be why they placed such a massive bounty — attracting stronger demons as a ploy for getting the skill I obtained out of me.

If I haven't gotten anything — then I would be silenced, and there would be no chance for me to report about a place like that to anyone else. Dammit! Whether I got a skill or not, these attacks aren't for the best if continued.

"You're thinking quite seriously about this. That's very good." Plethora dropped her smirk then shook her head and sighed deeply, "I can't kill you here. Hopefully I find a chance to get the reward when your father is away."

Plethora seemed to be also in deep thoughts. But she'd bowed her head to conceal the bright flames blooming within them from Mylos. Her aura which had been drawn into her completely, wasn't easily read by Mylos.

"Go back to hell." Mylos cursed. His brows furrowing as he lowered his blade. As soon as he confirmed his father was close enough, he sheathed his sword then, loosened up his tensed muscles. She would not try anything now.

"Heh…" Plethora chuckled softly, quickly dashing into the shadows. She had also sensed his parent, and being unprepared to die — she wasn't going to stand and wait for him to capture he for questioning.

These freshly dead bodies lying on the ground wouldn't be pinned on her! The Sword Eminence and his brother would have to settle the issues between themselves, and she would watch from a far away place.

After her quick disappearance through one of the many windows — Mylos blinked twice, then he composed his stance. In a few seconds, hurried footsteps were heard approaching his direction, and his brows knitted.

"Young Lord! We've found you!"

——

The massive auditorium lead directly out of the building where Mylos had holed up in. Right outside the massive building, was a neat garden where a number of beautiful flowers were grown. The brightly coloured flowers were very visible to Mylos in the heavy darkness.

"Young Lord! Your father has been looking for you for a while now! Lady Sliva was the one who told us where you had run off to. Sigh." The slightly older male donning an ornate fiery robe rambled on anxiously as he led Mylos.

Sliva? She must be the one who ratted out my location to the Sword Eminence too — or maybe I was a little bit too careless in hiding myself. I need to improve on this.

"Haha! I didn't run too far, I'm sure father would be kind enough to understand my situation." Mylos was equally anxious as he rarely communicated with his father, "If I have sorted things out, I'd like to leave in one piece."

"Oh don't worry about that. We've ensured that you're guarded safely to wherever you want." The middle aged looking male smiled kindly, "None of their goons would dare attack you under your father's watch."

"Well, I perceive so…" Mylos walked carefully, one of his hands rested on the hilt of his sheathed sword. His facial expression was a bit morose, but he tried his best to look as cheerful as he could — although he failed, miserably.

After walking for a few seconds, they came to a halt just before a small gathering metres away from Mylos' small hideout. As they came to a halt, Mylos slowly lifted his head to stare ahead.

Staring back at him was his father — a tall man with the same facial features as Mylos. Although, he had shorter hair with deeper purple accents and a more mature face in comparison to his son. Everything else, from the eyes to shape of their eyes looked ‘copy and paste’.

Mylos kneeled before his father without any hesitation, the years of loyalty to the Chaos Family burned into his soul had taught him this much. Everyone else followed, and only the Chaos Eminence was left standing.

He wore ornamental war armour, and had strapped his sword to his waist. He had one hand holding his helmet and the other rested on the hilt of his sword, while his cape was allowed to flutter in the wind.

"Of all my children, your hunger for chaos is the most amusing. So how have you been, Mylos. You've quite the number of enemies after you at such a young age."

Mylos looked around himself, both eyes shrouded in an air of fear and confusion. The walls around him seemed to warp before his vision, giving off a strange aura. The earth sucked the heat from his feet, and the air felt stiff. Before Mylos, was a silver haired male sitting at the foot of a massive throne. The man was bound to the ground by numerous chains, his long silver hair scattered across the cold earth, shrouding his back as he bowed his head. With the high number of chains shrouding the man, the room gave Mylos the feeling of being chained down just like the man. Watching the man for a long time felt as if he was being into a chained world, a suffocation feeling."Truth… Fate… Order… Being… Perfection…”The long lasting silence was shattered by a voice, nearly inaudible, but not difficult for Mylos to understand. The words he heard sounded nonsensical to him as the pulls of the ‘chains’ grew upon his soul — his brows furrowing."Do you want to know what the gods said to me bef
