Mylos clung unto the walls of a tall building, gazing past the massive fence to view the plethora of houses before him. With his demonic vision, he was able to see objects metres away as if they were just an inch away from him.
"Just a few hunters patrolling by that alley to the west. I should be able to avoid them if I'm careful. What I need now is a place to stay the night." Mylos spoke softly with his head bowed in thought, and brows knitted.
In his bag, he had some “credits” which humans deemed useful for transactions. He calculated having enough for more than a few months of rent, but decided on paying for just a few nights since he would be mobile.
"I can also last some weeks more without any food, but I'll be forced to find a meal if I get too weak from these hunger pangs." Mylos frowned, then he shook his head and clenched his right fist, "Let me get away from here."
As soon as Mylos clenched his fingers digging into the wall into a fist, he crushed a part of the wall into dust to free his fingers. Mylos descended, landing with his feet after seconds of free fall.
Bang!
Mylos landed on the ground, sending dust rising after a nearly perfect descent. Deciding against dashing out of the dark alley he landed in, he decided to pull down his hood to cover his face and walk out slowly.
Why not just run out and kill the hunters for food? If he could save time and energy by doing this, why shouldn't he? If this legendary ’acting low-key' technique was not broken, he would not fix it.
With his dark clothing and covered face, Mylos blended into the shadows with ease. The hunters found it difficult to see him, and since he didn't look threatening, they all ignored him and minded their business.
Mylos who had successfully evaded their patrol, turned to glance at them one last time before leaving. He tried his best to not erupt into a crazed laughter thinking back to how easily he had dodged them.
"Hey. Didn't that guy seem strange to you? He walked way too close to the shadows." One of the hunters who had seen Mylos earlier whispered to the other after the demon had already left, "Do you think he's a target?"
"No, more likely to be some common burglar than one bold demon. If anything, it's good for both of us that it did not approach — we have to save energy." The other hunter whispered as he stared in the direction the 'man' had walked away in.
"Hmm."
——
Mylos reached the popular hotel he had been thinking of lounging in after thirty minutes of walking. Dodging those hunters helped lift a number of obstacles off his path, causing his journey to be as smooth as possible.
The gates were wide open, and he walked right through them and into the premises. The main building was built at the centre of the plot, there was a restaurant built just some metres besides the hotel, and a pool behind it.
To the left side of hotel, opposite the restaurant, was a parking lot — a garden was built at the centre of the lot, and various cars were parked on both sides. Mylos took some time staring at the running fountain in the middle of the garden with his brows raised.
He adjusted his composure, then approached the hotel without hesitation. Pushing open the doors, he waltzed inside, then headed for the receptionist with a smile on his face, "Hello, I'm looking to book a room here."
The blonde receptionist sitting behind a desk with her gaze locked on the laptop before her, raised her head, flashing Mylos a charming smile as she parted her lips to speak in a soft voice, "Hello and welcome to our hotel," Her soft voice was as melodious as a songbird. Her eyes sparkled with warmth as she met Mylos' gaze. "We're delighted to have you as our guest. Are you looking for a single or double room, and for how many nights?"
Mylos returned her smile, his confidence unwavering. "I think a double room would be perfect, please. I'll be staying for three nights."
Of course, Mylos would make a few preparations ahead for the “bug” sent from his father after him. If he took a calculated guess, he could somewhat picture a number of demons his father would entrust with watching him.
Well, he had only one brother and many sisters ranked higher in the family. Most of his brothers were either in the lower ranks or spread out to build more branches of the family — thus, they were out of the question.
The receptionist's fingers danced across the keyboard, as her attention returned to her computer screen, and she began speaking again, "Certainly, sir. May I have your name, please?"
"It's Mylos," He replied, leaning slightly on the counter, his eyes flashing in a strange light as he added with his lips curved up into a wider smile, "Mylos Khaos."
"Thank you, Mr. Khaos," She smiled politely, her fingers pausing for a moment before resuming their graceful dance. "We have a lovely double room available on the third floor, with a massive transparent glass wall for viewing our luxurious pool. Is that to your liking?"
Mylos nodded appreciatively. "Sounds wonderful."
"Great," She said, her fingers clicking a few more times. "Your room is all set. Here's your key card." She slid the card across the counter, and Mylos picked it up with an autonomous nod.
"Do you need any assistance with your luggage?" she inquired, her eyes still locked onto his. They were clear as crystal, shimmering in an alluring light that seemed able to draw in anyone's gaze.
"I'm good, thank you," He replied. "I'll manage this on my own."
"Alright, Mr. Khaos," she said, her smile never fading. "Enjoy your stay with us. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask."
Mylos nodded, feeling a sense of comfort settling in. "Thank you."
As he walked towards the elevator, he couldn't help but steal a glance back at the receptionist, who had returned to her work with a soft hum. Shaking off the curiousity in his heart, he returned his gaze back to the elevator.
"It's quite strange…"
Mylos shook his head and entered the elevator, and in a split second, the door were shut. Following a chime, the elevator lifted with a jerk, then began it's smooth rise to the third floor. Mylos shut his eyes, and leaned over to the side, his mind drifting away.
——
When did all the chaos begin? Wasn't a year ago? What happened that day? Was he afraid? Did he really care?
He was sitting in the room they locked him in, when he heard gunfire. Screams and the sound of swords clashes followed, then silence. He sneaked a peak through the keyhole, only to see a complete massacre.
Someone approached, and knocked on the door. Mylos saw this, and then stepped back with a cold face. Just as soon as the intruder was about to burst into the room, a crazed Mylos kicked the door open from his end.
The one of the other side was sent flying, only to crash into a wall with his back. Mylos noticed the blood from underneath the door, a strange calmness overwhelming him as he stepped forward and peaked outside.
All the guards with him, they were all dead! All Mylos's vision was filled with was the bodies of demons guarding him just a few minutes ago, their heads severed.
The only ones with their head intact had their limbs torn off from their body, and were left to die slowly. Before it was too late, Mylos felt it was right for him to escape so all their deaths wouldn't be in vain. But, why did they die?
Stumbling back, Mylos felt fear and rage rise up within him as he realised what had happened, and he furrowed both brows furiously. He shook his head, shaking off the fear within him, then dashed out a window behind him.
He was at the second floor, a jump from this height was not going to kill him. If anything, he would break an arm or two and they'd be healed a few hours later, any other wound would be healed in mere minutes.
“Shatter!”
The glass window shattered from the blow he dealt to it with his body as he jumped out, creating a sound he was sure would attract those who killed the other demons. A split second after his jump, he landed on his face.
The glass shards bruised his open skin, drawing blood in seconds. Mylos shook off the pain and began to sprint at a high speed, his back drenched in sweat as he thought about what was happening. He had no where to hide!
He had been stationed in the middle of nowhere, so no humans lived in this area. There was only a vast expanse of tall trees, and some thick bushes. In the vicinity, there was only two buildings he knew off.
The warehouse he just broke out of, and a smaller one just a few yards away! Although Father had forbidden a confused Mylos from entering, he seemed to ignore all the warnings as he charged forward.
The sound of hunters chasing after him fuelled him, his brows knitted as he sprinted. Trees blurred past, a symphony of evasion bloomed as he weaved through them, agilely sidestepping bushes and gracefully ducking beneath outstretched branches, his momentum unwavering.
Snap!
In a heartbeat, Mylos lost his footing, hurtling into the air before colliding with a looming building ahead. With sheer determination, he used his head to force open the doors, crashing into the interior of the smaller structure.
He sidestepped on wet leaves!
As he crossed the threshold, the doors sealed shut, and reality itself seemed to twist and contort in a surreal dance. Before the young demon could gather his senses, he was abruptly thrust into an alien realm, a place he instinctively recognized as beyond his rightful domain.
"Where am I?"

Knock Knock.Mylos sat up from his bed, then gaze in the direction of his door. In visible confusion, he stood up to his feet and approached the door vigilantly. As soon as he reached it, he pulled open the door carefully."Aysla?"Before Mylos could compose his senses, he was kicked in the face and sent flying into the room. The person at the door walked into the room, wearing a crazed grin on her face with a fiery gold aura burning around her."Hehe, you little bastard." Aysla grinned madly as she watched Mylos sprawl on the ground in confusion, her gaze as cold as steel, "After making me go through all that trouble, I'm going to break you legs!"She encountered a lot of trouble chasing him. Mylos dropped his bag on the bed, then sat himself down. He no longer needed to rest his mind after his acquisition of Eternal Life, he also did not need to eat. It was just the pain a demon goes through if they didn't feed. They call it “hunger pangs”. Although he could live without feeding, he was unable to bear the pains of huger for very long. He could go weeks or more on an empty stomach, but must eat once in a while. There was nothing ideal for him to feed on except a few humans, and maybe some livestock. Well, it will not be sufficient to quell his hunger, but maybe if he chowed d
I'm The Devil
Mylos looked around himself, both eyes shrouded in an air of fear and confusion. The walls around him seemed to warp before his vision, giving off a strange aura. The earth sucked the heat from his feet, and the air felt stiff. Before Mylos, was a silver haired male sitting at the foot of a massive throne. The man was bound to the ground by numerous chains, his long silver hair scattered across the cold earth, shrouding his back as he bowed his head. With the high number of chains shrouding the man, the room gave Mylos the feeling of being chained down just like the man. Watching the man for a long time felt as if he was being into a chained world, a suffocation feeling."Truth… Fate… Order… Being… Perfection…”The long lasting silence was shattered by a voice, nearly inaudible, but not difficult for Mylos to understand. The words he heard sounded nonsensical to him as the pulls of the ‘chains’ grew upon his soul — his brows furrowing."Do you want to know what the gods said to me bef

"Sit."Mylos blinked, then sat down on the chair facing that of his father. He stared into the man's eyes, his brows were furrowed and shoulders tense. He seemed anxious, but did not give himself away with any strange action."Father, I—"The Chaos Eminence waved his hand, causing Mylos to shut his mouth and look away. After he had given his son the signal to shut his mouth, the Chaos Eminence drops his hand and laid it upon the table between them."Don't bother yourself…" The Chaos Eminence sighed as he closed his eyes and laid back in his seat, "A large number of them had attacked the building you told me you would hide in. I guess, that was a very smart move.""No father. This has gotten to something beyond what I am able to handle." Mylos cut in after listening to all his father had to say, his brows still furrowed as he was still in deep thoughts, "I believe you know what I saw there."The Chaos Eminence smiled warmly as he picked up a glass cup filled with water and raised it to
The Eminence In Chaos
Mylos had gotten himself accustomed to the relentless attacks from demons. He believed that they were drawn to his hidden ability somewhat, and must want it for their worthless selves. He could do nothing about it."I have been promised ten thousand gold Yreo for your wretched head, youngling. It's a shame I was too late in reaching you, or you would have made me easy gold to last more than a few years."Mylos smirked coldly as he held his sword, not making a move as he scrutinized his opponent. Alas, his little head carried a heavy bounty which numerous hunters gunned for despite his status and reputation. For that only, he'd been constantly attacked by troupes of hunters in unison with the demons after his ability. He had never been allowed to rest with their targets behind him, and had been killing attackers left and right.Although he never thought that the demons would also gain a reward for hunting him. He believed that only the hunters from other dumb races were after his life!
