"Why would you ask something like that?" Laila questioned Levi after he asked her if her grandmother hates him.

"I'm sorry. Nevermind."Levi said, as if reluctant to answer Laila.

Laila placed her hand on Levi's, "please speak to me." she said.

"I just don't feel at home. I know I've been living alone most of my life but I can't help but feel a certain kind of hostility between me and your family." Levi said to Laila.

"Hey, don't say that. This is new to everyone and we are all trying to adjust to it in our various ways." Laila said, cupping Levi's face in her hands, "Never feel hated here. It will only hurt me too." Laila said.

Levi nodded.

*Later at night*

"Are you ready to go through with this?" Sultan asked Sami.

"Yes, sir. I won't let you down." Sami answered.

They both put the plans in motion. Sultan went down to have dinner with his mother and daughter and he didn't need to stress himself with making Levi sit on the spot he wanted.
