Orion squinted his eyes as the sunlight hit his face. After he adapted to the change, he glanced around him, observing the green pasture that surrounded him with the grass reaching up to his knees.

He quickly noted that he had been separated from his group. ‘This must be a division type dungeon. We’ll start out separately before finally meeting up once more.’

His hands found their way to the two swords Evangeline had made for him. The Ether within them was enough for him to last him one floor within the dungeon - only if he finished his enemies fast enough though. ‘Speaking of enemies…’

The grass before him parted, allowing a fast projectile to approach him at breakneck speed. Any normal person would have had their head sliced off when meeting against the monster capable of that speed.

But Orion wasn’t a normal person.

A gray light coated his blade as he pivoted to the left, slashing downward as he did so and separating the monster’s head from its neck.

When Orion’s sight adjusted to the light, he immediately noticed the 3 other individuals standing by his side. “It seems some of us made it.” Evangeline smiled as she drew their attention. Out of the 9 that had arrived, only Orion, Evangeline, Marcus and Alex had arrived at the 5th stage of the dungeon. Seeing this, Orion thought it would have been more efficient if they had brought Emma along as well but the girl had to stay behind with Derek to guard their base. They would have to figure a way to defeat this stage with their current manpower. The situation wasn’t that bad though. Orion’s heightened senses caught whiff of Evangeline’s and Marcus’ higher strength. The two had probably also advanced to the Late stage. Alex wasn’t far off too either, he had probably accumulated about 450 to 500 attribute points already._The fifth and final stage has begun. Your task is to wipe out the Goblin village in the depths of the forest. Note that there might be Hobgoblins within it._‘Hmm.’

  • Next Stage

As Orion had ditched using his sword, he had to be more careful while fighting. The knives in the goblins’ grasps might have seemed jagged and blunt, but they were deadly sharp, only a bit of force would be needed to cut into his skin. The first goblin jumped into the air, slashing at his neck. The creatures were quite small, about a meter tall in height so they could only reach his neck or head by doing this.Orion sneered, crouching slightly before straightening his fingers in a sword-like manner and stabbing upwards. His claws tore into the creature’s jaw, drawing out blood. It fell weakly to the ground the moment it dropped down, but by then Orion had already moved to his next target. He struck his claw at the incoming knife before him, their clash producing a metal grating sound. The goblin’s body shook for a moment, the resulting force a bit too much for its weaker physique. That moment was enough for Orion. His fingers straightened once more, piercing into its chest and tearin

When Orion came to, the first thing he noticed was how weirdly full he felt. His stomach was satisfied like he'd just had an amazing meal, and there was still a delicious taste lingering in his mouth. But what he saw told a completely different story.Looking down, he saw bones scattered everywhere, covered in obvious sharp teeth marks. When he touched his face, his fingers came away sticky with blood. With this, he could easily guess that the sweet taste in his mouth was actually the reminder of the blood that hadn't yet faded.'What the hell?!' Panic started creeping in as Orion realized he'd straight-up eaten the Variant aberrant! This made zero sense - before his regression, Shapeshifting Classes never did anything this crazy to Evolvers.'Hold up.' Orion pulled up his system panel, focusing on his [Dark Manipulation] and [Werewolf Transformation] skills. 'Now that I think about it, no class ever gave more than one active and passive skill for its type. I've got two of each!' He f

  • Loss of Control

Orion dashed forward, his muscles coiling with lethal intent while Ether suffused his blade with its characteristic pale gray luminescence. The sword traced a lethal arc, severing the head of an aberrant that had lunged for his throat. Another monstrosity attempted to exploit his blind spot, but Maria intercepted it with devastating efficiency, her legs blazing with brilliant azure energy as she sent it careening sideways. He acknowledged her assistance with a subtle nod before extending his left palm toward the airborne aberrant. His [Dark Manipulation] manifested as a roiling mass of obsidian vapor that rapidly coalesced, extending into a lethal whip that separated the defenseless creature's head from its body with surgical precision.By his side, Maria had already launched into her next assault, her form nearly parallel to the ground as she delivered a devastating kick to an aberrant's neck, the impact nearly pulverizing its spine. The force of her strike propelled the creature sid

  • Second Exhibition

The cold wind blew against Orion’s body as he was suspended upside down with his raised legs while he supported himself with one arm. Sweat glistened off his shirtless skin as he rose his upper body before lowering it, repeating the action with gritted teeth, his eyes and expression tense with focus as he exercised.Of course he didn’t need such focus for his one arm headstand exercise. Instead his focus was on the orb of darkness that was suspended before his eyes, flickering with dark gas rolling over its surface. Every two seconds the orb would constantly change its structure, transforming into a thin needle, a miniature spear, a tendril and a flat square before returning to its original shape.Controlling the mass of darkness proved to be really different from the previous element he had attained before his regression. But this made sense, as back then he had only gotten an infusion type lightning element, focused not on versatility but on destruction. He would need to throw away
