Six

Episode 6

In the woods, she walked directly to the center of the forest. There is a cleared portion there that is surrounded by trees forming a circle and their dried leaves covering the surface of the cleared ground. She stood before the circle and raised her hand for a slight wave blowing away all the dried leaves at the instat, revealing a round iron that serves as a gateway to the underground cave she is about to go to. She stepped on it and it immediately gagged then dropped speedily to the seemingly pitch black bottomless pit, but when it was about to make contact with the ground, it suddenly stopped mid air. She gently came down from it and it went back up speedily like it initially dropped and locked the cave close. The light from the lamp lit up the cave

She turned around then started walking up to them, immediately they saw her, they brought their heads up in hope there would be a lead to what they have been looking for, and an answer to their questions.

She gently bowed her head with her two hands in front of her forehead, as that is their culture. 

"Greetings" she said before standing straight.

"So what brought about this urgent call?" she asked, earning an 'are you serious right now?' Look from her fellow.

"Well, the Light is here, the reborn is here, the end battle is near, I can feel it, I don't know if you can but I can and it doesn't seem good, right from when she entered Wales, I'm afraid we have to act very fast. But goodness she hasn't gained her full strength yet, so we can strike right before she is filled" She said assuring them she knew the reason she was called and was messing around with them. 

"That was why we sent for you, we all can feel it too. What about the four supposed elvers?"

She shook her head then breathed out. "Nothing, still nothing about them, they seems so normal to me, I don't think they are the elvers, as a matter of facts I don't even think the reborn brought any elvers while coming, maybe because one already betrayed her beforehand" she said pushing the memories behind then breath out.

"I think what we should be more worried about is the regene herself, sh.. she is more powerful than any lighter any of us have ever fought, I can feel it" she breathed out as if shaking the thought away "I think she should be get rid off now! Now, that she is still weak" She suggested 

"As much as your suggestion is good we can't do that behind the Great Anetta, she is waking and I know she will be here any moment from now"

"Pftt. Waking my foot, she has been in that stage of waking for 2yrs now and counting so please spare me that" hoping she didn't sound disrespectful enough that could earn her a punishment.

"Do you know a way where waking her up could be made faster?"  She nods her head signifying 'No'.

"Then maybe you should take care of the light yourself" 

"What!? Do you forget what the last lighter did to me?" She suddenly exclaimed

"That is what is going to happen to us too if we don't wait for the great anetta"

"For your first question, I think I do."

"Don't think, be sure!"

I walked away from the queue with my tray of food at the cafeteria and made my way to the table the others were seating. And if I said others I mean my new friends, Friends? Can I call them friends yet? It's kinda cool how I get to have some friends within a couple of hours I spent, that is what Zoe called me, she said I'm coo…

"Hi" said a girl that moves swiftly to my front her hair packed up in a tight ponytail with a cute bowl attached to it, her short bangs makes a perfect frame to her already perfect face, with her hand stretched fort 

"Uhm hi" I replied receiving the handshake not so sure what that is.

"I'm sorry I startled you" she apologize

"She looks familiar though" I thought, trying to remember where I had seen her.

"Nah, it's okay" I assured

"So I'm Sarah, Sarah Palin, I met you at your place last week" she said, of course she does look familiar, I mean I do know her.

"I'm sorry, I'm not really good with remembering faces" I apologize and we both made our way to the table where my new friends are.

"Nah, it's okay, we didn't really do much of talking" she said as we made our way to the table. She came with the interior decorator for the makeover of our house. Apparently, she is the daughter of the interior decorator. I could remember the mother trying to introduce me to her daughter but I wasn't even in the mood for all that. I must admit I was really cold to them, Main reason was because I was reminiscing on what Sandra told me before they came.

"I'm sorry for not being nice to you, when you and your mum came to our place" I apologize again

"Come on it's okay, I understand, I can imagine how hard it is for you to leave your great city and come to this wacky place" she said while we dropped our tray and take our seat

"Wacky? Wales isn't wacky" Sean said glaring at her 

"What? You know I'm saying the truth you blue eyed boy" she retorted before taking a sip from her yogurt drink

"It's Sean, not the blue eyed boy you dolly face." he retorted back at her while the rest of us and I looked at them back and forth, do they know each other beforehand.

"Who the heck is dolly face you brat" Sarah almost yelled

"You guys" I said hitting the table as if hitting their sense back to them tired of listening to their stupid bickering.

"So guys this is Sarah, Sarah meet Brian and Cassie, they are both my seat mate and Sean he is my..

"Boyfriend" he interrupted with a toothy smile

"Tch" I hissed

"He is my neighbor" I said to Sarah

"There is no need to introduce the most mischievous boy in the whole of Wales high school, he is pretty popular" she said while sipping from her drink.

"It's enough guys" I said, interrupting whatever Sean was gonna say next.

"And one more thing, Wales is not wacky" he said.

"I said it's okay" I yelled 

"And I said one more thing" he answered

"Gosh!" I groaned, while Cassie and Brian laughed out loud at their Childish bickering.

The bell rung signifying lunchtime is over

Well I had ignored them and started eating the same as to Brian and Cassie and now they are blaming each other on why they both didn't finish their lunch before the break is over.

I went to my locker to check my timetable, free period it says

I closed back the locker and I was about to leave for the homeroom.

"I guess you have free period too" Cassie said behind me after I had closed my locker

"How did you know?" I asked her 

"I somehow saw your books and noticed you are an Art student." She answered

"You are an art student too right? Cos you should have been is class now" I asked again

"Yep, and Brian too"

"Have you guys been seatmate before I came"

"Yes we were, but not that too close friend, just some hi's and hello's, you know he is pretty popular "

"Speaking of the devil," she added when Brian came walking to us.

"Hey, where are you girls up to?"

"To the homeroom"

"Come on I've gotten somewhere cool to be"

"Where"

"The library of course" Cassie rolled her eye

"Nice, but I don't know where it's located"

"Weren't you assigned a tour guide?"

"Yeah I was but he left without saying a word" I replied with a sigh

"Who does that?, you should report him" Cassie said with disdain

"Nah it's okay, I have you guys now, right?"

"So about the history class I have a question, the story was kinda interesting, about the history of Wales" I said starting a topic

"You mean the Wales homicide?" Brian asked

"The homicide that happened years ago?" Cassie asked almost at the same time with Brian's 

"Yeah, about the supernatural beings behind the homicide and stuff" I don't know why I think the story is interesting and I wanted to know more.

"That is some total bullshit myth the people of wales decided to believe, you know my grand dad was a mayor then, and he make sure to catch the culprit and locked him up in prison, and according to him he is a psychopath and a sadist" he said in one breath

"Woah" I breath out surprised at his sudden outburst 

"Don't blame me I'm just super sick and tired about the gullibility of some people believing that stupid myth, superpower or super heroes doesn't even exist" he said "Like how is that hard to understand?" He added

"And before you ask, yes, my dad is a mayor, " he said with a hint of pride in his tone. No wonder Cassie said he is pretty popular.

"Maybe it's not a myth after all" Cassie breath out
