Luca hung up the phone. His eyes widened, still in disbelief.

His father gave Kane's entire underground company away just like that?

A kingdom belonging to a king and the leader of a global underground empire that even someone as high ranking as Elon Musk would die to work with?

“So, I guess everything's going well with your father? Shall we go now?” Ava asked.

“Yeah, it's going well, very well,” Luca paused. “He wants me to inherit his entire empire, so yeah. Does that mean I can get my reward now and get out of this mission?”

“I don't think the system will let you do that, since you have to complete the task first. Let's just finish the mission. Besides, he told you to rest today and do what you need to do before you leave, right?”

“Okay then. Let's get some rest and leave tomorrow morning,” Luca sighed. “It’s late, and for tonight, we should find a place to sleep because we…”

“No, we don’t need to find a place to stay because you already have a place,” Ava tossed the keys to Luca, and Luca stared at the Northwest mansion in disbelief.

“This house is now completely yours. Just call it a welcome gift from the system,” Ava grinned. “Besides, this house was yours to begin with. Didn’t Sorella rise to the top and even buy this mansion because you used your blood for their perfume?”

“How about we enjoy this evening since this house has returned to its rightful owner?”

On the first night after 10 years of marriage, Luca was finally able to enter the mansion without being mocked.

Luca found it strange to see all the servants suddenly bowing to him, but when Luca wondered why they were suddenly calling him master, Ava simply explained that it was because their memories had been wiped, and their brains had been programmed by the system to think that Luca was their master.

It was simply programmed for everyone working in the mansion to ensure Luca's safety, and Myer bowed to Luca as well, but Luca, remembering his kindness, decided to make the old security guard his right hand man at home.

Everything was going well, and just when Luca thought his life could get better, trouble finally struck, and it happened right at morning.

“Sir, there's trouble outside the house. Someone's here to see you!” Myer rushed into Luca's room, and Luca frowned. They were currently having breakfast, and Ava had programmed the maids to cook a sumptuous meal.

“A guest? Who's here to visit me?” Luca wiped his mouth with a napkin. Luca knew he'd had no friends since he'd abdicated the Kane throne and married Lisa.

“He's your friend, Sir. And his name is Daniel. Just Daniel. Nothing more.”

“Daniel?” Luca glanced at Ava before nodding. “Okay, bring him in. I'll follow after I'm ready.”

“Yes, Sir.”

CRACK!

Luca entered the living room with a bang, thinking it was Daniel Cruise, but instead, standing before him was a man with pale blonde hair and an eyepatch.

The man had numerous battle scars visible beneath his fur coat, evidence of his experience in numerous warships and even wars, and he smiled as he looked into Luca's face.

“Hello, half brother. I heard you just returned to claim the Kane throne,” the man grinned as he turned. “I know you wouldn't have come to see me if I hadn't used the name of your homewrecker, so forgive me if I offended you.”

“Hello, Maekar,” Luca greeted. “Who told you I was back? Did Father say something and you want to claim your right?” Luca asked, silently telling Ava to get the gun.

“No, quite the opposite! I'm actually grateful you'll accept, because Father actually wants to match whoever takes the throne,” Maekar said, and Luca's eyes widened.

“Congratulations, my brother. You may be going through a broken marriage, but soon you’ll have a replacement, and I hear she’s not even remotely beautiful or human. Good luck, and may your marriage be a happy one, and may you ascend the throne, even though Damon might be a nuisance.”

Maekar patted Luca on the shoulder before walking out of the room.

He paused for a moment before scribbling something on a piece of paper and tossing it to Luca.

“That’s my phone number in case you need my help, which I hope you don’t. Goodbye, my brother,” Maekar waved.

Then, after the door closed, Luca gave Ava a sharp look.

“What…”

“You never told me that marrying women was part of the game,” Luca said. “I never joined this game to marry a woman who didn’t even look like one.”

“Well, to gain more power and money, you have to use social ladders like marriage to achieve it. But unless you want another single woman, that’s fine, just don’t expect it to yield the same results. You already have other options, and she’s right there,” Ava replied.

Luca shook his head. He covered his face with his palms, realizing how messed up his life was now that he’d been rescued, and even meddled in this system.

At exactly 12:30, after the Kane family’s lunch was roughly over, Luca got out of his black Ferrari and tossed the keys to the Kane family’s bodyguard.

Ava shook her head as Luca used his superpowers to get another new car, and nothing could stop him from glamouring himself except for sports cars and money.

“Young Master Kane IV has arrived, and he’s with a girl,” shouted the guard outside the Kane mansion.

Cruise and Sorella's past wealth was nothing compared to half of Kane's, and Luca walked with his head held high as he entered Kane's castle with Ava.

"The master is inside. Please come in, Young Master,"

"Thank you,"

Luca nodded to the young servant. The castle had always been like a brothel, with only girls serving as servants, and from the servant's red neck, Luca knew she was another concubine.

His father still liked to keep girls, desecrating them just as he had done to Luca's mother, and Luca wrinkled his nose when a drunken girl bumped into him as he was about to enter the room.

"Luca, you're here. I've been waiting for you," said Genoven Kane, Luca's father, pointing to the large sofa in front of him.

Ava's eyes shifted between Luca and her father, noticing that Genoven Kane looked very different from Luca.

Luca had ordinary brown hair, while Genoven was albino. Like Maekar.

“Is this young girl…”

“That’s none of your business, and just tell me what her next move is to usurp your throne. Also, who is this woman sitting on the sofa?”

Luca tilted his head to the side when he noticed the woman wearing a completely black veil.

Her entire body, even her hands, were covered in black cloth.

“Sorry! I didn’t know you had a girlfriend!” the gypsy girl quickly apologized. She broke free from Luca and ran to Genoven’s study, and Luca frowned at the red marks on her forearms and legs, like injection marks, but he quickly shook his head, thinking it was none of his business.“So, who’s that girl? You seem interested in her,” Ava said, pulling him closer. “You know if you don’t focus on the main task, you’ll lose points and fail the mission, right?”“Of course I do, and I’m not here to flirt with my father’s whore,” Luca glanced at the corner where Astrid had been standing and saw that it was empty. “Looks like she’s gone. Can your system or my superpowers see why she’s looking at me like a weirdo?”“No, unfortunately not,” Ava shook her head. “Also, I want to warn you not to just play around and waste the limits of your superpowers. For this mission, you’ve wasted more than you should have, and you can only form one command until you move on to the next mission, Luca.”“Damn…”

“Luca, you’ve reached adulthood, and I think it’s time you entered into a relationship to give me an heir,” Genoven said, pointing to the veiled woman. “Meet Astrid. She’s the heiress to Lagos, the shipping company. If you marry her, our family will have a much more established business, and we’ll rule the seas.”“Ruling the seas, huh?” Luca glanced at Astrid, and he remembered her life story all too well.Astrid Lagos was the eldest child of the Lagos family, and should have lived a life of great fortune. She was once a teenage model, but that was until her face was burned by a fire that then burned her entire body.No heir wanted her, but Luca felt he should now, and a blue tablet appeared in front of him, telling him to say yes.“So, Luca, if you want to back out, know that I won’t give you a second chance to…”“Okay, I’ll marry her.”“What?!”Genoven stared at Luca in disbelief. The veiled woman immediately sat up straight, and Ava stared at him widebeyed. Luca raised an eyebrow.

A bright blue tablet shimmered in front of Luca, and the boy's question mark transformed into a party pooper symbol.Daniel placed a torch in Asher's hand, guiding the boy to throw the flame onto the haystack and just as Luca was about to lunge forward, Ava caught his arm.“Stop, Luca! You'll die! Don't overuse your powers, remember the rules!” Ava warned, but the fire had already reached the hay.The flames spread rapidly, incinerating Luca's mother's clothes, the photos, and even her necklace. A cracking sound came from the pendant, and Luca's eyes darkened. The aura around Luca immediately darkened as objects around him began to float and spin, and Ava immediately went on guard. She had never detected such dangerous power from a player before, and this power had even corrupted the system.“W—What's going on?! Why are our things flying??” Daniel frowned as the torch floated back toward them and landed on the stage. “What the hell—The stage is on fire! How could this happen?! Lisa—”

“Neah Cruise?!” Luca exclaimed, glancing at the woman in vintage clothing before him.She was a famous Victoria's Secret model and the face of Dior at the Gala. She may have won awards for best body and face in all of the US, but she was also Daniel Cruise's twin sister, and as far as Luca knew, they had a tumultuous relationship in the worst sense of the word in college.“So, how about it, Luca, or rather, fake Luca? Will you get down on your knees and be my slave? I can pay you even more than that bitch Lisa. She's just an ugly bitch, even with all the Botox, and she's still a nerd in my eyes!” the woman said, pulling his hand to her chest, down to her cleavage.Luca realized how tempting this action was, but remembering his primary mission, he pulled the woman's face closer and stared deeply into her eyes. He stared into her eyes until her eyes rolled, and then he let go.“You've never met me here, but don't ever forget my orders,” Luca told her. “If you want to kill Lisa, just kil

An orange Porsche had just arrived in front of the iron gates of Northwest less than 30 minutes later. The large gate was already open because the Sorella family was apparently having dinner together, making it easy for Luca and Ava to enter, and a satisfied smile plastered across Luca's face.He looked very satisfied, as it had been a long time since he'd driven at 200 km/h.Before marrying Lisa, Luca had always loved car racing, as it was a common hobby for boys from wealthy families. But, wanting to be a good husband, he abandoned that reckless hobby.Even when he was secretly earning money from a major government science project, Luca still didn't pursue this hobby because he already had a son, and perhaps he needed to relax a bit."That guy's head," Ava said, getting out of the car with Luca's help. "You seem to have accidentally hit him with your tire. That should be illegal under the system, but I'll keep it a secret. I can't believe you also converted a Honda into a sports car
