207 - I Shouldn't Scare Him

“Jason, are you sure about this?”

“I am pretty sure. Is this all I have to do?”

Jason read through the things he had to do for the day.

“Yeah. That is all you have to do before the training, but why do you have to go through this training?”

“I will just test my strength before going for the training.”

Jason checked the place they took his blood sample out of instinct.

Just a day after he accepted the challenge from Kane, things started rolling. Since he had nothing big going on in The Endless, Jason had an easy time paying attention to the upcoming fight.

The only thing he had to worry about was Hanna waking up in the middle of the night and realising he wasn’t there. Other than that, he had nothing serious going on until he reached the Forest Edge. He had to train Ethan and Charlie, who seemed to have become very enthusiastic about learning during the day. Otherwise, all he had to do was to play with Hanna in the evening.

Most other matters didn’t affect him for the time being.
