Chapter 358: Pitiful Denial

Three days passed by in a blink of an eye and the day of the meeting finally arrived.

"Chancellor, everything is ready," Stacey said while looking at Daniel with pity filled eyes.

Daniel didn't reply to her and kept staring in front of him with hollow eyes.

"Chancellor" Stacey once again called him when he did not say anything, but again there was no reply.

"Sigh" Stacey sighed when she saw this and walked towards him.

Stacey smacked at the back of Daniel's head and his face was smashed into the table in front of him because of the strength Stacey used.

"What?" Daniel who was sitting with hollow eyes was jolted awake and stood up while looking around him.

He was lost in thoughts that an enemy attacked him without him realizing.

But when he saw the enemy, Daniel was completely stunned and just looked at her with dazed eyes.

"Why did you hit me?" Daniel asked when he saw Stacey.

"I say chancellor, when was the last time you took a nap?" Stacey didn't answer and asked him instead
