Wrath of Nathan Poroit

"Do you want to burn me? you fool!" Emma Foden, Nathan's mother-in-law, screamed and instantly pulled her leg out of the water that Nathan prepared for her to wash her feet.

Nathan stood in front of her, staring at her blankly. "Stop staring at me. Why can't you get anything done right?" She hissed and pushed the bowl of water to the side before turning to look at him with disgust. She hated Nathan with every fiber of her being 

Nathan didn't respond to her words. He raised his left hand to see what the time was saying. "It's midnight," He thought.

The Foden family became a tier 2 thanks to Nathan, 3 years ago, he had made them a promise to help them boom and redeem their company from bankruptcy and now, he has fulfilled his promise to them. 

"Argh, Show some decency by apologizing to me" Emma was furious and she kicked the bowl of hot water to Nathan but he easily avoided it. Emma gritted her teeth in frustration and clutched her fingers together to form a tight fist revealing how angry she was by seeing how calm Nathan reacted. Nathan glanced at her before leaving the room causing Emma's blood to boil, she instantly followed him out of the room.

"Stop right there! How dare you disrespect me? you poor church rat!" Emma's voice rang across the room causing Nathan to halt and turn to face her

"For 3 years now, we have provided you everything, food, shelter but what did we get in return?" She yelled and took a few steps closer to Nathan.

"You're such an ungrateful brat, you've begun to grow wings right? But I'll break those wings even before you would consider flying with them" Emma added but she got no reaction from Nathan which pissed her "I'll make sure my daughter divorces you, ungrateful brat!" 

Nathan wasn't moved by her words, they all fell on deaf ears. Emma swiftly took the basketball bat that was on the side and she attempted to hit him with it but he was quick to dodge it causing her to immediately miss her steps and she fell on the stairs.

"Ouch....." Emma's screams filled the hall but Nathan wasn't moved, he didn't flinch, he stood and watched her as she growled in pain.

"You ungrateful brat, I'll make sure that my daughter divorces you," She roared

"How unreasonable" Nathan narrowed his eyes and scoffed.

The door of the sitting room creaked open and Nathan's eyes widened when he caught sight of his wife and her assistant walking into the sitting room 

Isabella's eyes swept across the room and her eyes caught sight of her mother on the floor next to the stairs. she instantly ran to her and asked, "What happened Mom? Are you hurt"

"Ouch, my legs hurt Isabella," Emma pretended to be in pain. She tried sitting up but she winced in pain again, "My back... Isabella, it hurts so much" She swiftly turned to see if Nathan was still standing there and she instantly scoffed inwardly. She expected Nathan to be on his knees now but he still stood tall and watched her

"What happened Mom?" Isabella asked again without sparing Nathan a glance, she tried to help her mother up but Emma continued wincing in pain.

"Is it not your good-for-nothing husband, we provided everything for me, shelter, food, everything that he needs to survive, we provided for him but he dared to hit me and push me down the stairs" Emma lied.

Isabella Fedon is the CEO of Fedon Group, she is a smart, tall, and beautiful girl. She has been married to Nathan for 3 years and not a single day has passed without her taunting Nathan for his poverty. Nathan has been reminded countless times of what other sons-in-law do for their mother-in-law and Emma desperately wants her daughter to divorce him.

 "What the hell? Nathan! Has your laziness affected your brain too, don't you know your place in this house?" Isabella yelled while raising her head to stare at Nathan who was standing a few inches away from her.

"I need an explanation immediately!" She added

Nathan sneered, "You can check the CCTV in the villa to see if I hit your mother or even push her down the stairs." He didn't wait for her to respond before he left his room. For the past 3 years, Nathan has been treated like a slave. He creaked open the door of his room and sighed thinking of how dramatic Emma was, he walked towards the drawer, took out a wood box and a stalk of paper, and walked back to the door to exit the room.

As soon as he opened the door, he came to face Isabella, she frowned and crossed her hands.

"I've checked the CCTV and if you had not avoided my mother's attack then she wouldn't have fallen from the stairs, you're to blame for it," Isabella said sternly causing Nathan to scoff and stare at her in total disbelief.

"My mother is just a middle-aged woman, you should have been considerate enough to know that she has a bad temper and it wouldn't hurt if she had hit you, do you have to be so ungrateful?" Isabella asked in a rage. She wasn't pleased when she walked into the mansion and saw her mother on the floor "You should apologize to her for your behavior" she added causing Nathan to scoff, but he remained calm. He didn't raise his voice nor did he bother to convince Isabella that her mother was wrong

Isabella's words made Nathan speechless, "How unreasonable, just like her mother," He thought and chose to ignore her. He shifted his gaze to the stalk of papers in his hand and he passed them to Isabella.

"I have already signed them and now, I need your signature," Nathan said causing Isabella to instantly take the papers from him to see what it was about that

"Divorce papers?" Isabella scoffed
