Barks and Growls

No amount of words could explain how Xavier felt as he stepped out of that hell of a room he had thought was heaven. But one thing's for sure, what he was currently feeling was nothing near pleasant or a good feeling.

He felt the most horrible way ever and the only thing he wanted to do was just disappear from this world and never to be seen, that way, his sufferings would end.

Yes, that's right, he would disappear from this cruel world and never to be seen again. Living this life was not worth it.

He walked around the huge mansion looking for the exit and not being aware of how he was catching so much attention.

With anger, rage, pain, regret and so many other emotions blurring half his eye sight, he finally found the exit out of this shitty hell hole and he left the house through the front door.

Now all that was left was to finally leave the premises and then look for what proper way to die and leave this world.

Xavier was walking, not knowing where he was now but he knew he was heading towards the final exit.

'It's fine, this is the house of a rich man, it's always this complicated.' He reassured himself while looking around when out of the blue...

BARK!! BARK!! GROWLS

The sound of a barking dog accompanied with loud ferocious growls reached his ears, Xavier stood froze when he realized dogs were barking at him.

He looked to his side, where the barking was coming from and that was when he saw three huge Siberian huskies wolf-like dogs running towards him in an inhumane speed.

With shock and fear for his life, Xavier wasted no time and took to his heels, running as fast as he legs could carry him.

However, he couldn't beat these ferocious monsters that were ten times more faster than he was and soon they caught up to him.

And under the bright morning sun, on the clear beautiful grass, Xavier was brutally attacked by three hungry guard dogs.

Though he was physically fit man, he still couldn't match three strong dogs and they bit mercilessly at him as he fought and struggled to keep them away from him.

But he was getting weak by seconds, the dogs were already bitting hard at him and he was trying as much as he could to keep them away from his face.

He then remembered how he got here in the first place. He wasn't sure what happened or how it happened but he could remember having a conversation with Mr Charles when he suddenly felt lightweight and soon he passed out.

They must have drugged him in some kind of way and brought him here to be a servant against his own will which was against the law, he would make sure to report these lunatics once he leaves here.

However, Xavier was still struggling with the growling dogs and by now he was weak and bloodied. He groaned as he felt pain from the dogs' bite.

And almost a minute later, the dogs stopped attacking him and they just sat around him while he laid on the grass facing the sky in pain.

The dogs had attacked his legs and hands and thankfully that was all but he was too weak to get up and continue finding his way out.

He felt drowsy and his vision was blurry.

'Is this it? Is how my life would end?' Xavier asked himself as he could no longer move his muscles an inch.

"Well this doesn't seem that bad at all." He whispered with a smile. Maybe dying this way was the best and a good thing. It wasn't that bad at all.

Xavier was still smiling, hoping and waiting to die when a shadow came into his blurry vision. It was the shadow of a woman staring down at him before she squatted next to him.

"I told you, didn't I? Once inside, you can't leave unless I say so." Was all Xavier heard before he passed out.

It was now dark and late, the Biller's party had ended about an hour ago and the guests had all left.

In one of the bedrooms laid a man and a woman sat beside him just staring at his face.

Another hour passed before the young man finally woke up. He groaned and hissed from pain and a bad headache.

Xavier was still groaning when he noticed the ceiling above him, he was in an unfamiliar place again.

He could vividly remember everything that had happened, how those dogs attacked him.

Perhaps, was this heaven? Was he already in heaven? That would make sense considering he had died.

Death wasn't even as painful as he had thought, it was like a...

"You are awake? That's good..." Blair who had been seating beside him for hours and was almost going to fall asleep spoke up when she heard his groans and hisses.

"I must say, those dogs did you dirty. That's what happens when you go against Mom." Blair said, adjusting her position on the bed to move closer to Xavier.

"Xavier, right?" She asked and continued, "I'm Blair Biller, also known as BB." She introduced herself and smiled at the interesting reaction from Xavier.

This wasn't heaven at all, this was hell. That would mean he never died in the first place, but...

Xavier who was in shock tried to seat up on the bed but groaned louder from pain and that was when he noticed he was on bandage.

This was real? He wasn't dead? But how? They say one would be aware of death on his deathbed and Xavier knew it too, he knew he wouldn't make it.

"You seem surprised, I must say you are an interesting man. I'm guessing you are behaving this way because you don't like your position as a lowly servant, that's quite demanding, but I will make you my driver. It's way better than being a servant that cleans and serves, hmmm?"

Blair asked, not that she was giving him any choice to pick from. She couldn't get her eyes off his face as she shamelessly admired his features.

His dark messy hair and those dark midnight eyes that stared at her in some interesting way. His pale lips looked delectable even when chapped. His nose, they were just the perfect, shape, it was such a pity that he was a servant.

And making him her driver wasn't a bad idea either, he looked like someone she could easily control and that was exactly what she was looking for.

Not those robotic driver her parents assigned for her that would tell on her every move.

"Okay, rest well, I'll be taking my leave now and I'll send servants to bring you something to eat, handsome." And with that she left the bedroom.

Xavier laid quietly on the bed with his thoughts running a thousand miles, thinking of a way to get out of this mess.

Escaping was the only option he could think of and that would take a lot of time to execute, considering how tight the security around here was.
