Personal Driver.

It took Xavier almost a week to recover from all the injuries he had sustained from the dog bites and to his surprise, the Biller family were sending doctors to him every once in a while to check up on him. Xavier refused to see any kind intentions behind that.

To him, they were just treating his dog bites just so he would be healthy enough to work for them. There was no way the Biller family could be so kind to just treat him, there's got to be a reason and Xavier was sure it was for their own personal benefit and nothing else.

And of course, Blair wouldn't stop pestering him to the extent where he became uncomfortable around her. Through out his days of recovering, she would constantly visit, behaving weird and asking him questions that made him almost freak out. She was another bunch of trouble to him and he wanted to avoid her at all cost.

Today was Friday, the last day of the week days before the weekend and today was also the very first day of Xavier working for the Billers and of course the very first day he would properly plan his escape.

Xavier now had his own room in the male servant area, he was given a separate room due to the fact that the room where the others occupied was filled up and he was thankful for that. That way he would escape interactions with the other servants because it would be odd if they questioned how he got here.

He had just finished showering after several warnings from Madam Maeve of course. That old woman wouldn't give him a proper breathing space and it seemed like avoiding her was impossible because she appeared almost everywhere.

Xavier was still trying to properly arrange himself on a black plain pants, a black jacket over a white t-shirt along with a bow tie when someone unannouncedly barged into his room.

With a startle, he turned towards the door and there stood his worst nightmare, Blair.

For some odd reasons, Xavier knew she would appear before him to torment him as usual and not only does he not like her, he also thought she was a weird freak. And she behaved like a spoilt brat who did whatever she wanted to and Xavier hated spoilt brats like her.

Blair stood by the door, a small smile on her lips as she took in the new sight of Xavier on a servant uniform, he still looked fairly handsome in them.

"Good morning handsome. How was your night? Excited about working I see." She stated while stepping into the room and closing the door behind her.

Xavier forced a failed smile on his lips, trying to be respectful and gave a low bow.

"Good morning to you Ms Blair, it was..." But Xavier wasn't given the opportunity to complete his words when a car key was sent flying in his direction.

A car key?

He frowned at her, wondering what the car key was for.

Blair was wearing a floral chiffon dress, short and just above her knee and paired it with a black heels and her waist length brown hair was neatly coiled.

She smiled even wider at him and gestured, "Follow me, you have a lot to do today." She turned around and walked out and Xavier followed almost immediately, he was left with no choice but to obey.

As much as he wanted to, he couldn't defile the words of these people that had his head in an arm's reach. He just had to obey to easily get out of this place.

He followed Blair till they got to the dining room where the whole Biller family was dining and having their breakfast.

The moment they both stepped in, their presence was noticed and all eyes turned towards them, giving Xavier the chills and making him feel uncomfortable. But most of all, staring at them made him feel even more angry.

"Now you expect us to greet you, don't you?" Mrs Edna asked while slowly cutting into her steak.

Xavier realizing his mistake quickly bowed and muttered a few words of greetings to them but of course, his greetings weren't even acknowledged, not that he cared.

Blair quickly too her seat and settled beside her mother and started having her breakfast.

"Why is he here? Shouldn't he be with the other servants, working?" Preston asked, he clearly hated that a peasant like Xavier would be around the dining table and watch him eat.

"Please don't mind Xavier, I need him for something. Just eat and pretend like he's not there at all." Blair advised her grumpy brother and then proceeded to eat her breakfast.

"I'd like to know what you need him for. He should be working like the others and not lazy around," Mrs Edna said. She looked at Blair, calmly wiping her mouth with a wipe.

Mrs Edna was although curious about what her daughter needed that young man for, she knew her beautiful young daughter wasn't someone who would go against her or do something out of the norm.

But what was she up to?

"Well, I wanted this to be a surprise for everyone and Xavier including but you all are so curious to know, I'll tell you." Blair stated, she dropped the knife and fork she had picked up and looked at her impatient and curious mother.

"Xavier would be my personal driver from today till I say I'm done with him." Blair declared, leaving the whole room in uttermost silence.

It took Xavier a while to understand what she'd said and the moment he did, his eyes went wide in surprise.

A personal driver? Was this good news or bad news?
