Nick brought Oliver to his house, which made Oliver frown because of how it looked.

It was shabby. The walls were already faded, the plants outside were dry and old, and the entire house looked like an abandoned one.

“Aren’t you earning enough in your company?” Oliver asked, frowning.

Nick chuckled. “This is just a facade. I don’t want other people to know how I live my life.”

After that, he clicked a red button inside the living room.

The floor they were standing on suddenly went downward, bringing them to another place—which is the exact opposite of the shabby house earlier.

“Welcome to my home,” Nick said with a smirk.

The entire place screamed wealth.

On the left side were tons of computers and other equipment used for security, while on the other side were racks full of different guns.

“You still love guns, huh,” Oliver said, scanning the collection one by one.

“They said that first love never dies.” Nick chuckled. “And I also thought I could use all of these in the future.”
