The pressure brought by the union of the emperor and the blood race made other races reluctantly agree, after four days a massive army assembled, they numbered 96 thousand men, while the races agreed to sending their forces they never sent their best but the emperor could not push them further, he stood at the balcony of his castle and stared at the long snake like line made by the fully armored men marching in unison, the emperor noticed the few numbers of the cavalry and questioned Cedric who always stood behind him,"why are the heavy cavalries only eight thousand, I said I need at least 50,000 heavy cavalries so why did Zack disobey me?".

"Maybe he disliked your alliance with the blood race, you know he's always cautious.. but he did send the best, those eight thousand could defeat more than a hundred thousand infantries", Cedric said slowly.

"Hump.. this time that wretched void race will pay for touching my lands", the emperor scowled.

"My lord where are the blood army?", Cedric asked humbly, he had not sighted a single blood warrior among the army and the emperor had allied with them so where was their army. The emperor's brows raised and he chuckled, but no word came out from his mouth.

Cedric did not ask again, but he was quite relieved that the void race would soon be annihilated, he hated that race to his bones.

But their predictions never came through as the empire crumbled, destroyed to forever be remembered in the anals of history, years of peace broken and the tide of Titans receded, without the control of the empire the war of the races which raged before the empire, reemerged bringing with it chaos which spreads its infected claws throughout the once prosperous lands, ravaging her land and bringing cinders and ashes to the once glorious era.

The vast lands was spliten into different territories both large and small, the leading races taking the majority.

Some races with similarities such as the humans and blood clans of the free lands, the barbarians of the dark lands, beastmen of the wild lands, other races like the faries and centuars went deep into the endless forest of EDORAS, vanishing from the publics view.

And the reason the Titans attacked, well that's a story for another day.

"Do you understand why I told you this story, young Alex?", Said an old man in his early seventies to a small child with short gray hair, deep black eyes, eight of age, with disbelief written on his face.

"Nah!, Aren't these titan stories used to frighten children", Alex chuckled with pride, the old man though he was easy to fool.

"Are you not a child?", the old man asked with a dumbfounded face .

"No!, I'm not, I've reached the age for training, so I am now a man", Alex said with a smug smile.

"But the training has not started yet, hahaha!!", Laughing without care for his image the old man almost cried due to laughing, wiping away imaginary tears from his eyes, he said,"go home Alex, it's late".

"hump!, I will go", Alex grumbled, obviously annoyed at being the subject of laughter, leaving the small cottage and walking back towards the town,"it's really late "muttered Alex admiring the beautiful view of the forest illuminated by the moonlight, rushing home he thought ' is there really such powerful empire, maybe dad will know'.

As Alex neared the town walls from West gate, blurry figures of armed warriors appeared on the walls, he had never seen such powerful Aura from any warrior he met before, shocked he realized he forgot about the totem awakening tomorrow, an important event for every kid born in a blood clan.

" Wow!, are they warriors from the camp", Alex muttered with awe in his voice, as he got closer to the walls he squinted his eyes to get a better view. Equipped with full body dull silver heavy plate armor with exquisite rune engravings, with a soft dark blue glow, tower shields and long Spears at least 2.5 meters. giving off a valiant and mighty Aura which truly stunned the young Alex.

"Alex!, Alex!!", A young familiar voice came form from the gates ,Alex turned to see a similarly aged boy with bright silver hair and light blue eyes, clothed in black attire .

"You went to see the old man again, it's the eve of the ceremony!, if you were caught by your father, you're doomed" said Derek with an alarmed expression, he feared for his dear friend.

Alex snapped out of his stunned expression, walking towards Derek he said with a shocked expression,"I never knew the camp warriors had such Aura".

"Camp warriors, don't amuse me Alex, they are blood knights, the most powerful warriors in denerim", Derek chuckled with a smug smile smeared on his face.

" Oh no!, don't tell me I missed the whole introduction event", Alex face was turning ugly.

" Sorry dude, but I told you not to go to that old man's place today", answered Derek with laughter in his eyes.

"Alright enough repercussions, do you think you will awaken an elemental rune force or an elemental phantom",asked Alex .

"I hope so, my dream is to grow into a mighty warrior and we will both travel around the free lands and eat the best delicacies of the land!", answered Derek with a proud posture, the funny fact was his short figure and chubby body.

" Food, that's your first thought, where's your warriors dignity" .

" In my tummy", replied Derek ,"so what is your dream Alex", he asked.

"To live a happy life with all my friends and family", said a smiling Alex, imagining his future happy days.

"Tough", muttered Derek with a low voice "and I thought I was the dumb one". His voice was no low enough and Alex heard it.

"You... you're so dead",screamed an angry Alex, taking to his heels and chasing after the fleeing Derek, struggling to run through the crowded streets to catch Derek who Alex can barley see with the help of the moonlight, Alex ran until he could not run anymore, leaning against a fruit stand," how can he run better than me with such chubby figure ", he wondered .

Suddenly a huge shadow enclosed him, raising his head he saw a huge bulky Knight with a face covered crest helmet, who said with a booming voice,"the cheiftian summons you" .
