In July 2018, the [Tower of Erase] appeared and changed the lives of 8 billion people. Those who were chosen were given 'special abilities.' One by one, these chosen people call themselves Challengers and attack the Tower. For ten years, the number of people awakened and given special abilities rapidly rose. Soon, teenagers within the age of 13 and above started to manifest abilities. Axel Hart, a seventeen year old high school student, was bullied repeatedly by his classmates who developed special abilities, just because he didn’t have any. Among all the students, he was the only person in that entire school who didn’t have powers. One afternoon, the bullying went too far. In the hands of his classmates, he died. He knew he died, but he woke up the next day with a magical mysterious book floating in front of him. The words ‘For my brother, Axel’ were written in bold on the cover. What’s more, it was from his brother, Nyx, who died inside the Tower one year ago! What secrets does this book have?!

The room fell silent when he spoke. “It’s been a while, Mr. Elston.” The older man froze. Aria’s glass slipped from her hand. The name echoed in her head like thunder. Mikael. He leaned back, eyes unreadable. “Last time we met, you called me a waste bin.” “M-Mikael…” she stammered, her face pale. “Mr. Dray,” corrected the host beside him—her father’s new business rival. “My son-in-law and the current CEO of ValenCore Holdings.” The silence cracked like glass. Mikael’s smile deepened, just enough to sting. “Don’t worry. I’m not here to rebuild anything for you.” He paused, letting the words sink in. “I’m just here to watch what’s left… fall apart.”
