He stood up and with all his weight dived on the space trooper, he didn't know what he was even thinking but somehow the trooper had already lost balance and his gun fallen from his hands. Rogers kicked him in the groins and then with a penknife stabbed him in the temples. The trooper was silent. Rogers thought for a moment maybe he was dead. He wanted to check for his breathing but common with space troopers they always had their helmet on. Rogers proceeded to dislodge the helmet, he was familiar with the technicalities. The battle was still ongoing, he was hearing gunfires afar off, he had checked his attacker pulse, the man was as good as dead. Rogers retrieve his penknife and put it back into his pockets. He was tired and weak to the bones, pains that ran through his stomach made him nauseated. He wanted to vomit. He stared at the sky that has turned with haze and ash, he thought when will all this wars be over, it has been a decade and the galaxies had been at war. He was from Megma, but the people from Metoris and Xival had been their enemies. Aquaris was their ally, and Infact the aquaria have been their supporters from time immemorial. The bone of contention was Resmore, the planets all wanted Resmore for its minerals and diamonds. News had it that the main villain Lord Firemetal and his counterpart Aruma each of them from Metoris and Xival had always wanted to dominate the planet Resmore, then comes the DROIDs from Entexx a place found in Aquaris, who always help them in fighting each battle they went. Their opponents have space droids too.

She panicked while Pia remained calm and silent as she tries to calm her friend down. Fear flashed through Cassandra's mind as she and Pia stood next to her car, their nerves still raw from the uncomfortable meeting. "Then, what do we do now?" Cassandra's eyes darted across the surroundings while her voice wavered with anxiety. With her own heart rate accelerating due to adrenaline, Pia tried to calm their agitated minds. "Maybe we'll try to calm down first..." However, Cassandra's mind was already racing, a flash of insight emerging in her. "But wait, the letter!" Pia looked in astonishment, taken aback by Cassandra's apparent eagerness. "What?" Words flew out of Cassandra's mouth, a trace of panic in her tone. "H-Haven't that box come with a letter?" Pia's face wrinkled as she considered what Cassandra had said, realizing what had happened.

"Mr. Verus,” she said, “the surgery has already been paid for.” Cassius blinked, stunned. “What? By who?” Before the nurse could respond, a tall, imposing figure appeared. The man was impeccably dressed, his presence commanding attention. “I paid for it,” the man said, his deep voice resonating in the sterile corridor. Cassius stood, his body tense. “Who are you?” The man smiled faintly, extending a hand. “Augustus Verus,” he said. “Your father.” Shock coursed through Cassius. “My father?” he echoed, incredulous. “That’s impossible.” “It’s the truth,” Augustus said, pulling out a neatly folded envelope. Inside were photographs, documents—proof of their connection. “I’ve been watching from a distance, waiting for the right moment to step in. And now, it’s time.” Cassius stared at the evidence, his emotions a whirlwind of disbelief, anger, and curiosity. “Why now? Why not before?” Augustus met his gaze steadily. “Because you had to face life’s hardships to grow. But now, you’ve earned the right to know the truth—and the power to change your fate.” He handed Cassius a sleek black card. “This is yours. It grants you access to my wealth. Use it wisely.” Cassius hesitated before taking the card, his fingers trembling.
