Desperate times call for desperate measures. After being released from their probation, the members of the infamously "notorious" group, Dead Men Smiling, attempt to regroup and get rid rid of Emperor Nero for good. No one said it'll be an easy task; especially since the group is currently split and everyone's first priority being to meet up as soon as possible. As time crawls on, discoveries are made and the skeletons that were once well hidden begin to fall out of the closet leaving a simple question: who can be trusted?

They live in the shadows and die in the shadows. They are the watchers .( Watcher's Creed ). Many years ago, the world of Terra was invaded by demons and the entire civilization fell apart. Humanity who were once at the top of the food chain were reduced to slaves and the struggle for survival began. A dying cancer patient from earth was reincarnated into this world and he vowed never to threw away his chance at second life. Looking at the Sky , Nero vowed solemnly. "Since this world lack a god , then I will be one !".

Famine had taken a toll on the humans; this had set everyone to find what to sleep on for survival, Elrond a young orphan went on a hunt into the heart of the woods from the Charevibe where they stayed in search of a deer for venison, he heard whispers of strange folks that lured him into something he believed his eyes were tricking him.  This transgression into a foreboding land had wrecked the looming darkness upon them and now the trolloc invades in search of the faeries white wolf that protected the light and magick of the Elderwood. A black hood and a masked man bear at their door as the great sweeps of the north continue. Elrond is saved by a fate so cruel or eerie that awaits him as he either perishes or takes the hand of the pointed-ear stranger, who is also an enemy of their kind and a protector of the last Elderwood– the high elves.

In this novel, humans have been killed almost entirely by the existence of beasts, which are animals that have evolved to the point of resembling demons incarnate in animals. So the food chain has been completely reversed, therefore, mankind has had to hide in a couple of islands in the middle of the ocean in order to stay alive, but this form of survival will not last forever. Get into the story of this dystopian world if you want to read a different survival novel with a darker approach, where the development of the story will be slow but satisfying to read.

I won't go into too much detail, but only simply explain what happened. Due to some malfunctioning and incorrect assumptions, the reactor overproduced energy. Something which should have been impossible according to all the known knowledge of a really advanced Earth. I mean, they have even started colonizing planets. Have done countless simulations and even built test stations in space. Yet now, something had gone when they did the same on earth. Bizarre, right? This malfunctioning and imploding of the reactor caused a massive explosion due to the instability of space itself. This is also what allowed the story to exist, as our main characters were all transported. The method is not known, nor why they survived. We can say it is for the story, for now... They all now find themselves on Ethos, eating a mouthful of dirt as they struggled for breath. Some find their situation horrible, others find it relaxing and peaceful. Some see death, others see life. Despair and hope, madness and sanity on an edge. What has fate given you? Welcome to Ethos, a planet of magic. Welcome to Ethos, a planet orbiting an exotic star. Ethos wishes you luck in surviving. Maybe, just maybe... You can someday go back, or not.

"Death is not the end rather it's the beginning." Almiron Rakenji, a necromancer who lost he's mom at a young age, one day with he's life in grave danger he unlocks he's abilities and finds out that in their world they are other people like him. after he fully accepts the fact that he is a necromancer he has to protect himself and he's friends as he makes enemies with abilities who comes after him and the people he loves.

Akira Kuromiya is just an average high schooler who gets killed by a robber. He wakes up and is now a chicken!? Even worse he becomes the familiar of a girl who"s apparently the heiress of a powerful clan. That was for a short while though, as he was abandoned and woke up to find out he, now she, is trapped in a deadly magical forest with all sorts creatures trying to kill her. The world she finds herself is one of magic and monsters like the manga she's been reading. Akira, now Hinotori is trying to live her life as a chicken in another world! The book is quite slow paced, with some arcs seeming quite useless and boring. However, I promise, every arc is important and I urge you to continue. If you can't, I won't try to stop you because the choice is yours.
