The old man is either a con artist or he himself is hungry and is definitely hearing things “Don't you wanna get rich son?” Quan's brows shot up at the word ‘rich’ His mind drifted to how he's been humiliated in the past and,he unconsciously fisted his fingers. “I want to be powerful.” He breathed out, one could see and hear the desperation in his eyes and voice. “It's a done deal then. I'll change your fate for you. However...”The man paused, then continue the moment he knew he's got the young lad's attention. “know that you only have twenty years to spend on Earth!” Quan’s jaw dropped. “What?! Hey! I don't wanna make a wish any–” The old man smirked. “It's too late,child. A wish cannot be reversed.”
