Prologue   Maverick Michelson, a young man in his early twenties who was struggling at the bottom of society had his world shattered when his family died and he learned that his girlfriend used and betrayed him.    Weak and without strength, he was going to be cruelly tortured to death after learning about his girlfriend's betrayal but at that time, a mysterious artifact hidden within his soul called a system awakened and granted him the strength to free himself and escape.     Maverick had lost his family, and his love and no longer had the will to live but with the help of the system, not only did he rise from the ashes, he also attained the capital to seek revenge.      Maverick strives to attain strength with the system to seek revenge and make his girlfriend and all those who were involved suffer a fate far worse than his family had.

After the disappointing first day of high school, Oscar fell into some weird cave. What he found in the cave changed his life forever. He discovered the mana! With the discovery of mana, everything around him changed. While he was learning magic, he noticed that the world around him isn't as simple as it seems. From an immature and inexperienced high school boy, he will rise to become a legendary figure in history books. He will face the darkness of humanity and the enemies who are beyond humans. This is the new version of my previous story which has the same name. The story will be slow-paced. There isn't much action in the first chapters. Everything in this story is fictional. The names of the people and institutions were made up by me.

In this novel, humans have been killed almost entirely by the existence of beasts, which are animals that have evolved to the point of resembling demons incarnate in animals. So the food chain has been completely reversed, therefore, mankind has had to hide in a couple of islands in the middle of the ocean in order to stay alive, but this form of survival will not last forever.
