A special day has come, a day that Earth has awaited for oh so long. The day where they are finally going to try and run the reactor. This had been long-awaited and everyone dropped off their kids with a hint of dread. Hoping that nothing would go wrong, we know it did. Since, else, there would not be a story. I won't go into too much detail, but only simply explain what happened. Due to some malfunctioning and incorrect assumptions, the reactor overproduced energy. Something which should have been impossible according to all the known knowledge of a really advanced Earth. I mean, they have even started colonizing planets. Have done countless simulations and even built test stations in space. Yet now, something had gone when they did the same on earth. Bizarre, right? This malfunctioning and imploding of the reactor caused a massive explosion due to the instability of space itself. This is also what allowed the story to exist, as our main characters were all transported. The method is not known, nor why they survived. We can say it is for the story, for now... They all now find themselves on Ethos, eating a mouthful of dirt as they struggled for breath. Some find their situation horrible, others find it relaxing and peaceful. The monochromatic colors of this world that I'm trapped with. The longing in my heart that wants to achieve a boundless color of life that fills someone with happiness. He would one day become king, no matter what.” -------- This is my first novel on the platform, so my pacing and world-building aren't the best, but it gets better with time. The story is set in a medieval world, somewhere in an alternate version of ancient Europe. At first the tone focuses more on war and basic politics, but as the story progresses, there will be more magic/fantasy elements added - like dragons, witches and fables. Aries nodded in agreement but then Greg blocked his path standing way too close to him he cocked his head to the side. A smug smirk on his face and a dark glint in his eyes as he said in a whisper by Aries ear. "Or Someone in the family killed her?" Aries clenched his jaw "Why would I kill her?" ---------- Leilani walked up to Viana "I'm sorry about what happened to your husband" Viana shrugged "Thank you, though I do not need your sympathy." She smiled "We are family and family cannot be divided." Viana nodded in agreement her eyes falling on Alexander who stood by their car as they arranged their luggage in the car. Leilani followed her gaze to were Aries stood. Viana embraced her suddenly Leilani was startled "Be careful, your husband is a monster."
