Jun’s Point of View

“HEEEEEY HONEY WHO IS THIS?” We heard Ms. Reyes yelled. Jeez! He might catch someone.

“Hey who are you?! Why are you here?” Mr. Reyes asked but the person they’re pertaining did not answer. I went close to the stairs and I took a peek. It's Simon! Oh no!

“Why did you break the glass? Why are you here?” Mrs. Reyes asked while she about to cry. 

“Are you a thief?” Mr. Reyes asked.

“I’m going to call the police!” I can see Simon’s face and he’s about to cry.

My eyes became enlarged when I saw Mr. Reyes punched Simon’s face and he lay down. The man was supposed to kick him.

“No! I’m not a thief! I just passed by!” Simon exclaimed while shielding himself with his arms.

The two looked unconvinced and they didn’t believe what Simon said.

“You’re a deceiver!” the woman shrieked.

The man went out to seek for help from their neighbors while Ms. Reyes is talking to the policeman.

“There’s a thief in our house! Please come immediately!” I saw Simon supposed to went upstairs when I saw the man came back.

“Hey where are you going, huh?” the man looked at Simon’s arm and he saw a watch he was wearing.

“That’s mine! How did you get that!!!” I can see how angry the old man is. 

“Give it back to me!!!” he was supposed to get it from Simon but he covered it.

“You a piece of shit!!!” The old man was supposed to punch my friend again...

“Baaaaang!” I took out the gun and I fired it to him. The woman looked in my direction while she was holding her phone. Her eyes are widened and can’t believe what I did. She’s going to run outside of the house but I shot her back.

“Go guys come out!!! Go to the van!!! I shouted when I saw Mrs. Reyes fell to the floor.

My colleagues ran outside of the house. I threw the gun and went downstairs.

I can see how the blood running to the floor...

We get off the house and immediately ride inside of the van. We heard a siren from police that’s why I commanded Minmin to drive the van quickly.

“LET’S GO!!!” I shouted.

“It’s not working! Shit!” He replied and I frowned. The policemen came and turn out of their cab. Shit, we’re in trouble...

“Step aside!!!” I shouted again to Minmin and I rotated the steering wheel.

“Push the gear shift hardly!” I saw the policemen trying to make us protrude by Minmin pushed the gear shift hardly that’s why the engine of our van operated.

The policemen who’re on the side of the van were spat out and we escaped the place. Everyone sighed because we thought this is the end of all.

“Jeez! That’s close!” Britney sighed. Since this place is located on the foot of the mountain, no one can chase us. Plus, it’s midnight now.

“So where are we going?” Joy asked.

“I can’t believe we did that!” Laine reacted.

“I can’t believe Jun did it” Kaye added. I looked at her direction and stared at her badly.

“I did it because it’s for Simon! I can’t let him get inside of the jail!” I answered. It seems like this is all my fault.

A moment of silence came but Simon broke it immediately.

“Sorry because I was caught” We looked at his direction and he seems sorry about what happened.

“No, it’s not your fault! The most important is everyone okay.” Kyle wailed and he pats Simon’s shoulder.

“This is a family. We’re already immune to this” Charlie interfered. Everyone smiled because of what he said. He’s right. We don’t have anything remaining but only ourselves.

Minmin continued driving and we didn’t notice everyone fall asleep.

Charlie’s Point of View

I opened my eyes because of my starving tummy. Heck, I fell asleep. I noticed everyone is currently sleeping and I can say that it’s midday.

I saw Minmin sleeping profoundly. I looked at the outside to see where are we and it’s not familiar for me.

I saw Kaye awakes and she wake Kyle. 

“Where are we?” Kyle asked.

“I don’t know” Kaye replied sparingly. The rest of us woke up and looked out of the van.

“Oh, where are we?” Britney asked.

“In my hometown. Lumban Laguna.” Minmin answered while frowning.

“That’s far from Quezon!” Jun responded.

“No. It just kilometers away.” Minmin added. 

“Shall we eat?” Joy suggested. Because it’s now noon, we’re hungry...

“Okay. Just wear your mask and caps, okay? Be observant also.” Jun advised. We went out of the Van and we saw a food stall that offers a delicious meal.

We smell the aroma of the foods that make our tummies hungrier.

“Let’s eat there. It’s cheap but delicious, I guess?” Laine suggested. We went to the food stall and we ordered various foods.

We’re trying to be careful because someone could recognize it. I heard the news last night and they announced that the couple was robbed.

After a few moments, we finished eating and it was a savory food. They went back to the van while I went to a convenience store to buy cigarettes.

“One cigarette please!” I said to the cashier.

“Okay wait, sir, I’ll get new stocks.” Since there are no stocks that were displayed in the convenience store, I needed to wait for her to get my cigarettes.

“Flash Report. The couple who was robbed last day has a shot on their chest. The weapon that was used from the crime was found in the downstairs of the couple’s house. Based on the forensic team, the gun is owned by Mr. Reyes. The fingerprints that were found on the gun is from Jun Aguilar, a 21-year-old man who committed different crimes.” I looked on the television inside of the convenience store because of what I heard. Shit! 

“The group of Jun was exposed in the CCTV camera of the Reyes’ house.” 

“They are too young to be a criminal. What’s happening in the Philippines?” The cashier came back carrying packs of cigarettes.

I looked at her and her eyes widened. I immediately pull the cigarettes. I put the payment on the counter and rapidly ran out of the store.

“Hey! Your change!”

I went back to the van.

“Hey, we’re on the news! We have been caught of CCTV cameras!” I told them and they were astounded because of my news.

“Shit? Really?” Kyle reacted.

“I thought there is no CCTV there!” Britney interfered.

Jun frowned. “That’s what I thought!” 

“We’re in a mess” Charlie added.

“You’re the lead suspect of this crime because you threw the gun to their house and they gathered your fingerprints” I exclaimed to Jun.

“Oh shit! I can’t bring it here that’s why I chose to throw it.” He answered.

“Let’s go, guys! We shall leave this place shortly” Minmin started the engine and we left.

Caliraya Lake, Lumban, Laguna.

“We’re here!” Minmin squealed and we get out of the van. There’s a lake in front of us.

“Why are we here?” Kaye asked.

“To indulge yourself first. This is a hidden place here and no one will catch us”

“This looks great! Come on!!!” Joy screamed and she runs to the lake.

“Let’s change first!” Laine responded and everyone changed.

I removed my hoodie and shirt including my mask and cap. After a while, we headed to the lake. The water is cold and clear!

“Let’s have fun!!!” I shouted and dive into the lake.

“Hoooooooogh!!!” I screeched.

“Let’s do snorkeling, bro!” Simon recommended.

“Snorkeling? In the lake?” I replied while chuckling. Can’t believe what he said.

“Snorkeling is only possible in the body of water that has fishes” Kyle rejoined.

“Fine!” Simon acknowledged.

I saw Britney, Laine, and Joy wearing a swimsuit. Oh, they thought we’re on a beach.

“OMG!!!” they said at once.

I noticed Kaye is not wearing a swimsuit “Hey Kaye, why you’re not wearing a swimwear?”

She looked at me solemnly which made me anxious. “I don’t like it” she replied.

I swam subterrene. I know how to swim because I studied scuba diving too. While I’m getting near underground, I noticed a piece of paper that made me inquisitive so I get it and proceeded upwards.

I looked at it thoroughly and it makes my eyes widened.

“M-map of Gold? El Dorado?” I asked. When the gold word sinks into my mind, I shouted instantly.

“Guys, I found something!” they went to my direction rapidly and looked at what I am holding.

“Jun, do you know this?” I handed him the map and his eyes widened too. 

“This is El Dorado, the City of Gold...”
